My niners better bring it this Monday, that loss vs the Seacocks was inexcusable.
NFL Season 2010
-
-
I hope that Eric fucking Mangini realizes that if he could make a single halftime adjustment, they'd be 2-0. Holmgren just needs to come down and coach this team.
-
the Seahawks TD was reversed! D:
-
Big win for my Dolphins. That D is going to give the opposition fits all season
and Brett Favre really needs to go away. He looked awfully old today
-
Farve should have retired when he had that last great season with the Packers, could have gone down as a QB everyone loved, instead he will retire as an old QB that will probably be sitting on the bench by the end of the season, and is now labeled a drama queen nobody likes…
And WOW did anyone see that catch by Moss, damn he still has some game left in him..
-
The catch by Moss was amazing stuff. Even better that it came with Revis defending after all the shit Revis talked about Moss in the past
-
Houston 2-0 .
-
Im taking away the catch by Moss but Revis wasnt 100% on that play, not even 75%, it was an exaple of a hurt CB and blown coverage.
But who cares? The Jets rocked NE, yes ROCKED 28-14 is considered pounded. Not this 15-10, 14-10 Bullshit the Dolphins keep pulling out of their asses. Look how effective Sanchez was, even the Jets without Revis for the entire 4th Q looked pretty damn good.
-
A win is a win hammer, doesn't matter what the score is. Miami's defense played great in both games and the offense did enough to get the win. Will they need more out of the offense to keep winning? Absolutely. But at the end of the day they beat alot of people's NFC Super Bowl pick on the road and they're top of the AFC East
And dismissing Moss' catch because Revis was hurt is ridiculous. Revis could have been all over him and he wouldn't have been able to stop Moss there. That catch was fantastic. If Revis was hurt going into that play then they should rotate safety help or switch Cromartie on Moss. But Revis' ego would never allow that
-
It is weird but Sanchez always plays well against New England, especially at home…And that series will go as it has for the past couple of years, Jets win the first Pats win the second. And that division is really up for grabs, I don't care how much the Jets say that the offense that was on display against the Patriots was their true offense because at this point we don't yet know. Just like last season, Sanchez and the offense has already shown two very different faces, and it all depends on how frequently the one against the Ravens shows up to see if they will be the divison winners or not.
The Pats have problems as well, that secondary deserves to get questioned and the D line was not in Sanchez's face as much as it should of been. Another thing is that Brady has turned almost gun-shy, we rarely see the long ball from him anymore maybe its the O-lone that's forcing him to make quick throws but whatever it is it needs to change..
Miami has played well but I still don't think they can run with the Jets or the Pats just yet, however, credit to them they are 2-0 right now, the best in the division until proven otherwise..
And the Bills, while are improving,.....are the Bills, so yeah, say hey from the bottom of the division again, okay?
-
Whether or not Miami can compete in the division depends entirely on the offense. Their run blocking was outstanding today, but Ronnie and Ricky need to hold onto the ball, and they need more out of the passing game. If they can get that on track I think they can definitely compete in the division. They need to figure it out quick though, the next two games are against the Jets and the Pats at home. If they drop those it will be a tough road back

Atlanta @ New Orleans
Pittsburgh @ Tampa Bay
Tennessee @ New York Giants
Detroit @ Minnesota
Buffalo @ New England
Washington @ St. Louis
Philadelphia @ Jacksonville
San Diego @ Seattle

New York Jets @ Miami
Green Bay @ Chicago -

I did miserable last week, going 9-7 bringing me to 19-13 for the season. Bleh.
Anyway, my picks.San Francisco @ Kansas City
Dallas @ Houston (This is a tough one. Dallas needs to win, but they have not played well, and the Texans look ready to dethrone the Colts. However, if the Texans play like they did in the first half of the redskins game, I think the Boys might be able to bring this one home….)
Cincinnati @ Carolina
Cleveland @ Baltimore
Atlanta @ New Orleans
Pittsburgh @ Tampa Bay
Tennessee @ New York Giants
Detroit @ Minnesota
Buffalo @ New England
Washington @ St. Louis
Philadelphia @ Jacksonville
San Diego @ Seattle
Oakland @ Arizona
Indianapolis @ Denver
New York Jets@ Miami (I'm really liking Miami. Hell, back in the preseason, they were one of my surprise teams that I picked to win the division. People still think I'm crazy for that. But Revis is out, which means Marshall is gonna be tearing up Cro and the rookie…)
Green Bay @ Chicago -
PICKS!!! 10-6 last week, not bad, brings me up to 18-14…Now for week 3:
San Francisco @ Kansas City
Dallas @ Houston- Must win for the Cowboys, going 0-3 into a bye week will make that city blows it self up, so I'm betting on millions of people not going up in flames, however its very likely to happen anyway..
Cincinnati @ Carolina
Cleveland @ Baltimore
Atlanta @ New Orleans
Pittsburgh @ Tampa Bay
Tennessee @ New York Giants
Detroit @ Minnesota- I think that after 2 very close games they will finally get one, Farve looked like he regretted ever leaving his Wrangler Jean Farm in Wisconsin the last two games and the Lions look have looked good lately (wow never thought I would ever say that..)
Buffalo @ New England- Bounce back for the embarrassment in NY
Washington @ St. Louis
Philadelphia @ Jacksonville- Oh how you curse me Jacksonville, get my hopes up for a decent season only to have them fall straight to hell the following week T_T
San Diego @ Seattle
Oakland @ Arizona
Indianapolis @ Denver
New York Jets@ Miami- Miami has looked good lately and the Jets 1 good game against NE has not proven to me their offense is good at all
Green Bay @ Chicago -
I am a Buccaneer fan myself. Pretty pumped (and shocked) that they are 2-0 right now. This success probably won't last too long as they start to play some better teams.

Green Bay @ ChicagoI know a lot of Dallas fans and have some in my family and I think it would be hilarious if they kept losing. They had a lot of hype going this year (as always).
As far as Favre goes, I am one of those people who have just had enough of him. I don't necessarily hate the Vikings though. Peterson is a beast. I feel that they might have done better with one of their other quarterbacks who actually went through training camp. If they actually lose to the Lions like you predict, that subject might start to be discussed more.

Green Bay @ ChicagoNice! I am a HARDCORE Texans fan. Houston WILL explode! If the tickets weren't so damn expensive, I would be there.
I am also rooting for the Ravens, because a classmate of mine made it to the team last year. Jason Phillips (LB). I hope they play him, he's a good kid, his dad was our athletic director in high school. Got the chance to be on the receiving end of his tackles once, that shit hurt! Too bad I wasn't big enough or THAT good enough for college.
-
You know, when watching Houston play today I see a completely different team. And it's sad.
-

I called it. Its not just that the Texans are not really playing up to par, its more of Dallas being backed into a corner with no way out except for a win, which they got…
-
No, we're a better team this year, it's just like rivalry game and the fact that they sort of needed a win that Dallas pulled it off. Anyways Anyone want Slaton?? you can have him for free.
-
It must suck to be a kicker, you could be the Greatest Hero Who Ever Lived one day and then be The Most Hated Man In The Universe the next…Just ask Garrett Hartley
-
San Francisco has been pretty disappointing so far. You can never tell who is going to come out of that division.
-
Jacksonville gave me false hope by opening the season with a win. Looks like I need to find a new team to cheer for because I refuse to be a fan of any Los Angeles or New York team, and it's looking like the Jaguars are due for a move with that being the most likely market.

I am from Oklahoma also. It sucks we don't have a team. Though, I guess it does kinda make us available to claim any team in the country as our own. I am just happy we have the Thunder now at least.
Maybe you should switch on over to another Florida team, like the Bucs maybe?

As a Jacksonville native and long time Jags fan, I have realized that no matter what they do the Jags will always let you down T_T

Jeez, it was like watching a high school team go against a pro team. I have no idea what the hell was going on. It's like the Texans gave that game away.
That turnover the Cowboys got and then like what three passing plays to a touchdown, what the hell was that? LOL embarassing! So much for the Texans coming back from losing. I still love them though. Poor Andre.
It was embarassing to face co-workers that were going for the Cowboys.
-
My dad keeps bragging about the Chiefs being 3-0 now. It's amazing for sure.
-
Good game tonight. and i never heard the chicago bears fight theme or knew about one until now
-
J! E! T! S! JETS JETS JETS!!!! Yea and what did i tell you guys?
-
Damn, this season has been surprising, if you were to have told me that the only 3 unbeaten teams left were the Bears, Steelers, and CHIEFS I would have said you are insane….but hey that's the parody of the NFL that we all love
-
Went 10-6 on picks last week to improve my overall to 25-23.
Week 4:
New York Jets @ Buffalo
Cincinnati @ Cleveland
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh
Denver @ Tennessee
Detroit @ Green Bay
San Francisco @ Atlanta
Carolina @ New Orleans
Seattle @ St. Louis
Indianapolis @ Jacksonville
Houston @ Oakland
Washington @ Philadelphia - Upset of the week, I honestly think McNabb will play out of his mind against Philly, to prove them wrong.
Arizona @ San Diego
Chicago @ New York Giants
New England @ Miami -
Who do you think will be the last unbeaten? I think the Steelers are the best of the three, but looking at the Bears schedule IDK. The Steelers have a tough game this week. Bears have easier schedule the next few weeks IMO. Chiefs get Indy after their bye week. I'll go ahead and say Da Bears.
-
Went 8-8 last week. 27-21 for the season.
New York Jets @ Buffalo
Cincinnati @ Cleveland
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh
Denver @ Tennessee
Detroit @ Green Bay
San Francisco @ Atlanta
Carolina @ New Orleans
Seattle @ St. Louis
Indianapolis @ Jacksonville
Houston @ Oakland
Washington @ Philadelphia
Arizona @ San Diego (SD better win. If we start another season 2-3 I'm gonna be pissed, as that'll be 4 in a row)
Chicago @ New York Giants (New York needs a win, and it's time for the Bears to break. They shouldn't even be 3-0 as it is.)
New England @ Miami -
PICKS!!! Went 8-8 last week, 26-22 for the season
New York Jets @ Buffalo- The D rolls over that poor Bills offense
Cincinnati @ Cleveland- Closer game than people think but Cincy gets the win
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh- Fun game but the strange No Big-Ben Steeler Win Streak continues
Denver @ Tennessee- With this game Vince Young will prove that, once and for all, he is an incompetent NFL QB and should not be starting
Detroit @ Green Bay
San Francisco @ Atlanta
Carolina @ New Orleans
Seattle @ St. Louis
Indianapolis @ Jacksonville- Again I really hope the Jags will beat them but with our offense the way it is, we're going to get slaughtered
Houston @ Oakland Washington @ Philadelphia- REVENGE OF THE MCNABB, Believe It
Arizona @ San Diego- The Chargers are having another terrible start to the year, but they usually finish strong…anyway the Cardinals are a lot worse off than SD is...
Chicago @ New York Giants- They got away with one vs Green Bay but the Bears are the real deal and the Giants are horrible this year, Eli and that D is way overrated, as usual
New England @ Miami- I love the Pats but that secondary is down-right bad and they can't win in a shoot-out every game, I hope they prove me wrong and win but I see Miami as the better team right now -
San Francisco has been pretty disappointing so far. You can never tell who is going to come out of that division.
Tell me about it.
-
Tell me about it.
Ha, well it is still early. I doubt the Seahawks, Rams, or Cardinals will pull too far away from the rest of the pack.

I dont know, the Seahawks look pretty good this year, a head and shoulders apart from everyone else in that division..

They do seem to be the favorites right now. I suppose I believe they will hit a slump somewhere along the line because of the new coach. College coaches tend to not fair well in the NFL, but maybe Pete Carroll will change that this time around.
Just saying, the season is young and anything can happen. Like Denver's collapse last year after starting 6-0.

They only beat the Chargers because of their kickoff returns and they beat the 49ers because of the 49ers terrible coaching staff.
BTW, they were outscored in terms of yardage in both of their wins (over 100 yards). They are not that good.
-
And the Chargers gave up a return TD in their other loss, so while I'll grant Seattle's return guy is good, it might be saying more about how bad the special teams is on San Diego.

Yeah, I'm really missing Osgood now…
The Bolts need to get their crap together. I will lose my mind if we go a fourth straight season at 2-3.
-

It seemed like everyone was really high on Mike Singletary before the season began (The media anyways, I don't know what SF fans think of him).
Then the rough start and this
and him and his staff look like idiots.
-
These are the San Diego Chargers I know and love!!
1st ranked offense
4th ranked defense
And our Special Teams look a ton better than the mess in the first 3 weeks!! -
OK just got to say FUCK YES!!!! 59 YARDS!!!! I LOVE YOU SCOOBEEEE!!!!
Beating the Colts is always the highlight of the season for me. Jags really showed up this week, but typical Jags fashion to kick ass one week and play horrible the next so….who knows but for now:
59 YARDS!!!!!!!!
-
Peyton Hillis is pure destruction in the form of a gigantic white running back.
Cleveland has been in all their games this year, hopefully this will give them the confidence to hold on for some more wins.
-
As a Jacksonville native and long time Jags fan, I have realized that no matter what they do the Jags will always let you down T_T
Meh, I was really proud of them that year they went 14-3, except for the fact that all three losses were against the Titans. That was also the year with the Music City miracle in the first round so that the Titans could advance to play Jacksonville for the third time that year. And we could lose the rest of our games this year and I'd still be happy if we beat the Colts a second time.
-

1st ranked offense
4th ranked defense
And our Special Teams look a ton better than the mess in the first 3 weeks!!Word up, that was one hell of a win… my little brother had pretty good field seats down near one end, so even though it was a local blackout he got witness the asskicking first hand!
I think even crazier than the points was 9 sacks and only 3 pts allowed on defense (7 from fumble return on offense)! Of course when your early season schedule is KC/Jax/Sea/AZ a respectable team should be 4-0, but it's a start, it's a start...
- lol @ Peyton, and man, 59 yard FG is one hell of a way to win, that kicker deserves his next few dinners on his teammates
- lol @ Cutler, love to see that guy moping after getting blasted
- lol @ Jason Avant for basically catching and dropping the game-winning TD
- that one TD play for the 49ers on defense was siiiiick
btw how did you get to be a Chargers fan in TX?
-
btw how did you get to be a Chargers fan in TX?
LT.
Even as a little kid I loved watching him play for TCU. When he went to the Chargers, I followed, and over the years I went from being just an LT fan to a Chargers fan in general. When he left last year, I never even thought about rooting for the Jets instead of the Chargers. I decided sometime back in 04-05 that the Bolts are gonna be my team for life.
I was glad LT was able to get himself a monster game yesterday. Despite how much I hate the Jets, I still want him to do well. -
Ahhh makes sense, I forgot about the TCU connection. And that last part pretty much sums it up. I'm happy for LT but I wish it was for a different team than the Jets. I think he's healthier than he was the last few years and has better blocking for runs.
-

I have to say that was a bit before my time, I'm 16, but I would have loved to have seen Brunell, McCardell, Jimmy Smith, and Freddy T in their prime…still I can't imagine the agony of losing to the Titans 3 times!! Its painful just to think about..
About beating the Colts the second time....yeah that's probably not going to happen, judging by the look on Peyton's face when the kick went through, he is going to be looking for some revenge..
Oh, and a little on LT..I don't want to take all the credit but I guess I will. Jets fans have me to thank for LTs recent exploits...this was the year I dropped him from my keeper fantasy league (I have had him for 6 years and his $ tag was through the roof) and as every one in my league knows, anyone I drop from my team becomes an instant Pro-Bowler
Your Welcome Jets, because it will only get better for Lt from here (GOD DAMMIT WHY DID I DROP HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
-
You may have dropped LT, but nothing will ever beat my greatest fantasy fuck up.
I dropped Ronnie Brown the week before Miami unveiled the Wildcat for the first time and he went for a million yards. That was painful.
