It's not a life or dead issue, but it'd be neat, fast and convenient.
First, I'd be practical. I just checked the manga forum, the threads which often is in the top at the time is the General Blackbeard thread, Dumb Predictions and Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread.
The dates of those threads are (April 15th, 2005, June 2nd, 2007and August 8th, 2007)
There's a ton of old threads like that, which still are active and being used. And even threads that doesn't seem to be used anymore and forgotten suddenly reappears. (I think one with Why Shanks and Whitebeard hadn't reached Raftel did this a few days ago.) When ever they're so many post together from a so long time line it's hard to keep track on what information there was available to the writer at the time the post was made. And a few years might seem as a long time, but it's an even longer time in the One Piece world, event-wise, a lot has happen the recent years. In a thread as the Blackbeard, constantly new stuff get revealed about the guy.
No one can remember all the release dates of all the chapters, but most has a very good idea about by chapter numbering where about some of the different stuff happens. I'd safe a lot of time if you didn't have to check when you wondering was the newest chapter at the time a post was made.
Eks. You'd pretty fats be able to say Pre-”Blackbeard at Marine HQ” Or past. Or aces death, or what ever.
Secondly: We're a bunch of nerds sitting and weekly discussing a comic, made for kids…. IN JAPAN! We ARE geeks and we defiantly need a geeky calender system like that! I'd be something which is special about AP forums! Help making AP even more unic!
I actually don't remember the dates of my wintervacation last year, but I remember chapter 528 came out in it! Help me, remember when I was skiing!
:D
Edit: Btw not 35%, 37% better!!
