It's sad how slow this shit is…I was reading it and then when i got to page 13 i was like "what the hell just happened? there's no way i'm almost finished with this chapter already!" So is this an illusion Itachi or the actual thing?

Well, that's just it isn't it? In this world of illusions and transformation and deception that Kishi has created, how can we be sure that anything is real? I mean, right from the start the whole genjutsu, transformation, and subsitution stuff kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, it's cool the first few times I guess, but now it's to the point where we don't even care because even when a character is mortally wounded we usually just think "Ah, it's probably a clone or an illusion or something" and usually we're right. And when a character does finally die (we can tell because of the drama) it's usually a relief ("Finally!")
And I think this is one of the fundamental flaws of the whole chakra and ninjutsu fighting style that Kishi came up with. The problem with the whole thing is that ninjutsu is basically a fighting style that basically allows the user to do absolutely anything. There's no limit on it except for the person's skill and their chakra level. But the problem with that is that it's all very vague. We usually don't know exactly how much a chakra a person has and we don't know exactly how chakra each jutsu consumes. Yes, we sometimes get vague ideas like "this jutsu takes a large amount of chakra" or "about half my chakra is gone" but we still don't know exactly how much is at stake or how capble the characters are. And it doesn't help that Kishi sometimes doesn't even follow his own rules (see Sasuke vs. Deidara). So yeah, basically with ninjutsu you basically have this all-capable power that works whichever way the plot sees fit.
Oh, but as to your question. I'm betting that it's just an illusion.

Nobodyman, that is why I prefer Togashi's nen system of energy in HxH. There are conditions that must be stuck to, such as Kurapika's chains. Typically a person will at best be able to master 2 of the 6 types of energy (for example manipulation or strength). However characters tend to be limited to 1 type.
As for eyes and that, I don't like genjutsu, with the exception of frog song but that was because at least when Jiraiya did that there was no stupid Uchiha style "no that didn't actually happen".
I do like anytime I see the sharingan be trounced, most noteworthy with Killerbee working with his biju to have him pulled out of the genjutsu. What could an Uchiha be able to do if someone ripped their eyes out?

Zabuza was cool during his arc but he lost the light when he died the only one that fell from the light horribly is orochimaru i remember during the first naruto when he was shown for the first , it was like ooh this guy will be the final villian ! he was so strong but now during shippuden i think anyone is strong enough to beat him ! he just fell easily from the top !

Yeah Oro was badass until it was revealed there were at least 4 Akatsuki who could probably defeat him in power, Pein, Hidan, Itachi and Madara, and at the very least the others were (aside from Konan and possibly Zetsu) an even match to him.

Or could it be because… he was the first villain and right after that arc the entire rest of the cast showed up? You know, Rock Lee, Gaara, Shikimaru, Hinata, Kiba, Orochimaru, Might Guy, etc... those guys?
Zabuza being beaten and dying had nothing to do with his popularity going down. The introduction of 30 new characters a couple chapters later did.
He's STILL one of the best and most interesting villains the series had, design wise and ninja-wise.

I still respect Zabuza, because badass isn't necessarily determined by progressive power levels. For example Minato would probably own Kakashi but this doesn't make Kakashi any less cool. In fact Minato could probably own the sannin individually but does that stop the sannin being awesome? No.

i once had respect for orochimaru but after becoming weak and he started puking things out of his body ! i started to lose my respect for him ! he was one of the cool characters in naruto part 1 ! but still my favorite character is itachi-san !

Well I guess I can put Oro at a lower level of respect now than Tsunade and Jiraiya because he can't die gracefully and well because of that he is a bit annoying. True Lady Tsunade cannot age gracefully but she would die in battle if she had to. If I ranked them I would put Oro third, Tsunade second and Jiraiya first.

Heh right on! It's a bit of a shame Tsunade's great strength (her strength lol) was probably outmatched by sennin modo (sage mode). Having said that it is still very powerful for a non-nature chakra based moveset.

Edit: And he is 100% stronger than Tsunade in every fuckin' way, except raw strength and Taijutsu. Not that it matters, Taijutsu isn't worth shit against Oro. -

Oh, so now they judge characters by popularity and strenght, how could I forget.
Zabuza was a well-written and well designed character, with completely thought out powers and backstory. In all his screentime he appeared to be a a competent fighter, and I'm not afraid to say it, ninja. But the most interesting aspect of his character was his development through out the whole arc - as a true antogonist he grew together with the protagonists shaping to be an even more appealing character. And that development of his reached the highest possible peak - so the death felt to be just in place for it, as a well written and fulfilling end.
Zabuza perfectly played his role in the plot to the very end. So how could he have lost anything is beyond me. -
tsunade is strong but there really is a huge difference between her powers and sage mode powers since when naruto beat the fat pain it just grazed and it was over for him , but still i think that not all sage mode users have the same strength since naruto is stronger than jiraiya in sage mode , actually he surpassed jiraiya . it all depends in nature chakra control the better you control the stronger you become !

it's true he is strong but in the first part he was stronger than second part of naruto , also he always runs away and pukes things ! he just isn't right ! also he was strong in the first part was because most of the characters were still children and they were'nt as strong as now ! -
I would have replied to this earlier but I'm in the middle beginning of an essay and reading Saint Seiya Lost Canvas (an excellent series btw).
Isheep missed my entire point- I was not talking about how powerful Oro was overall, I was referring to raw physical strength, taijutsu. Oro does have an excellent range of jutsu and particularly good regenerative skills. He deos look much stronger in the first half of the series though.
