You know what it is about the character roster that makes it so annoying? It seems so random. There were ALOT of characters in the marine ford arc and there really should be more. But if you are going to go with just 20 they REALLY should have just gone basic and made it

Whitebeard
Blackbeard
And the Admirals

After all the war was described as THE 7 SHICHIBUKAI VS. WHITEBEARD PIRATES.

Or better yet make it a REAL Marine ford arc game and get rid of the sky island/enies lobby island and make that Thriller bark. (Thriller Bark REALLY deserved a stage since it WAS ACTUALLY A PART OF MARINEFORD ARC)

And make the character roster

I assume you're talking about the mission with the subtext "ichido mo daun shinakatta" or something like that. Just means don't get knocked down even once. You can get hit, but if your character falls on his back or is knocked so that he's about to fall on his back, then you haven't completed the objective.

Anyways, google translate isn't always very useful because the romanized terms in Gigant Battle are very game-oriented and don't seem to translate very well into casual speech, heh.

Him, pandaman, and Stron world costumes are the only characters I don't have. I think so anyway.

To unlock Don Kreg you have to make all 20 teams with characters in nico robins mode in the menu, Its annoying and takes time but its easy.
Gaimon is one of the only two characters Im missing

You can't. Keimie is just a summon who appears with Pappagg. They make a tune and change your healthbar to them. To distract opponent. Useless against the computer XD

i like this but i'd have smoker instead of garp. Smoker's been in it longer and has been in more games than garp so a moveset for him would be easier as well.

I was working with the list they GAVE us which is 20 chars. Why quote my post if you are gonna make a completely different arguement?

Problem with Time-Skip is that it's gonna look lame having old chars in it too if they aint shown up. Unless they do Classic SHs as alt costume. I wonder if Ace and WB will be in. If they go the same way as Gigant then they won't be but still.

As for BB I suppose they'll just keep him with the one fruit unless we see him using the other more.

Highlighted the ones we just don't need as playable. If you start adding in the minor chars like the rest of CP9 we really should be getting Jango, Fullbody, HINA, Mohji, Gin, Pearl, Mr. 4, Miss Valentine, Sadi-Chan, Hannybal, Absalom, Perona as playable chars too. Spandam and Lucci and if we absolutely NEED to (which we don't) Kaku too.

The three I highlighted I would totally accept to be playable tho.

I would kill for playable Gin, Mr. 1, Hina, Mr. 3 and Wiper. I now some of them have been playable in other games. So there shouldn't be any excuse for not appearing.

I think all of them were playable aside from Gin XD I like how you said no excuse. These are the same people who didn't put in Robin, Franky and Brook for no reason.

I'm very surprised Hina isn't in this game period to be honest. She's probably gotta be one of the main 50 chars. And was in Marineford. Then again Vista was one of the main chars in Marineford and didn't even appear either.

I want character that actually did something in battle or at least CAN be enjoyable to play with. Calgara was good on the adventure/cruise for example, and the other cp9 member are not minor character. And the only reason I put Kuroobi on the list is because Gyojin Kenpo is cool.

I forgot Hina, she was in grand battle 3 after all. I wanted to put Perona too but she's not a fighter.

I would kill for playable Gin, Mr. 1, Hina, Mr. 3 and Wiper.

Hina and Wiper are playable on Grand Battle! 3, Mr 3 is playable on Grand Battle! 2. Gin and Mr 1 are support only.

For that to be true...there are still characters missing. The roster SHOULD have been

Kid and Law because they are the most developed supernovas and would fit for sabaody
Moria because he's one of the Warlords, most recent enemy, and was at the battle of Marineford
Shanks because he ended the war and has been in pretty much every other One Piece game
Smoker because he's a very important character, was at Marineford, and has been in pretty much every other One Piece game
Robin, Franky, and Brook are obvious. This is pretty much the first game to exclude Robin since she was introduced.

Now, if they were to make the game based on all of One Piece?

An additional 10 characters - fan favorites in Perona and Kaku (also some of the more developed side enemies), all the East Blue villains, Lucci and Eneru who I actually think should just be in every One Piece game....and Shiki.

If there is room for any more (there is...JUS had 56), I'd probably include vivi as well. She's a member of the Straw Hats...I think she deserves to be in.

Of course more minor characters (and those who previously appeared in OP games) like Marco, Garp, Sengoku, Rayleigh, Ohm, Wiper, Hina, etc. would stand a chance as well, but wouldn't be as likely.

I would go with the first 30 for a game like this....probably would've added in Eneru and Lucci as well. Sequel would go up to the 40 mark and maybe a couple other minor characters.

Sequel has to have Part 2 alts
