Today, EGX and I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and I snuck in a seltzer bottle in plain sight. This unexpected success has inspired me to sneak in more riduculous things such as KFC, Ramen, and Kraft Mac & Cheese.
We may be seeing Batman Begins tomorrow, and I'll be taking suggestions about appropriate things to sneak in.

Here is the complete list of ideas to date:
1.) Ramen
2.) Pocky
3.) KFC (bucket of chicken)
4.) Ice Cream
5.) Birthday cake
6.) Kraft Mac & Cheese
7.) Boxed Cereal
8.) Ralph's (awesome italian ices and shakes)

I usually just go buy candy and sodas at the CVS next to the theater and walk in with my pockets stuffed. When Episode I came out, a bunch of us cut school, stuffed our pockets full of beer and sat in a fairly empty theater at like 10:30 am getting wasted. That was only the first time I took beers in with me, not nearly the last. I bet you could fill your pockets full of McDonald's cheeseburgers too as they're not too bulky, but I haven't tried that yet. By the way, I don't buy anything ever at a movie concession stand, talk about a rip-off.

a live turkey… maybe you can walk it in as a "seeing eye turkey"? of course, you would have to find some way to cook it in the theater.

Dude, this is such an awesome thread. I've never even thought about this before, but now I think I've definitely gotta try it.

Hyper Dingo's idea is great… And make it really extravagant on a silver plate and everything. And bring like 6 plates, maybe offer it to people in the theater. =p

I think I seriously wanna try something like this... Maybe just a pizza or something though. Or how about a watermelon? Maybe like... 48 bottles of water in a big thing you'd get at CostCo or Sam's Club... Haha...

If you have them in plain sight, then maybe it shouldn't be "Food to Sneak into a movie theater."

I, for one, think it'd be hilarious if you brought in instant ramen with a thermos of boiling hot water so you can eat it in the theater.

I also like to smuggle outside food into movie theaters… :3 I always bring candy & soda!

Maybe you should bring in some Sushi... Or some cookie dough (homemade or store bought, it's raw goodness either way!) The turkey dinner Idea is a great idea too!

If you're legal age (21) and really want to push it, bring in bottles of wine. Keep in mind that this could risk you getting kicked out of the theater and possibly banned.

Movie theaters actually care? I brought in two Shop Rite bags filled with potatoe salad, meat loaf, two croquette sandwiches, three meat balls, a Starbucks Frappacino, and Mountain Dew & Sprite bottles in my hands and no one said anything.

I have deffinatly walked into a theater with 5 friends and a cooler filled with snacks. Such as soda, chips, sandwiches and candy. And before the show started called out all everybody snacks and hand them out. Left the cooler in the alse and have staff walk by me. Theaters can't confiscate it so what can they do but stare at you meanly? nothing. Take anything you want with ya cause the theater won't do much.
