While there are many a violent scene in the Koroshiya 1 manga, there's one that stands out in my mind. I don't know that I can describe it without being too obscene, but involves a man falling from a building while spraying blood from, er, both ends. The scene isn't in the movie.

Oricon has posted a listing of the top anime theme songs of 2005. The first "Bleach" opening came in number one.

I really don't see what's wrong with the symbol. And I'm a huge Superman fan. I think he looks awesome.
As for the villains, Superman wasn't originally about fighting powerful supervillains. He took down petty crooks and bank robbers and the like. What's the need for special effects?

They probably changed it so that it wouldn't look as much like Gizmo from "Gremlins" because they got sued…

I'm pretty pysched for it.
I read that they're going to have to digitally minimize Brandon Routh's, uh, "package" so that it won't be too distracting.

And I think the costume is great. It has a classic, retro feel to it.
