So it would seem salt has some sort of anti-DF properties.
Stephens translation is a bit more vague about it but in effect still the same so no poin in posting it…
However just because Brook think thats the reason doesn't make it so. We haven't had any indication of salt affecting a DF user ever before. Luffy has eaten LOTS of things... are we to believe that there hasn't been salt in ANY of those meals? It's just a made up explanation as to why salt should have purifying properties in the OP world. Weather its by Oda or Brook doesn't change the fact that it doesn't matter if it is salt, fresh or tap water that the DF user is submerged in when he loses his powers.

Salt is widely seen as a purifying agent, especially in Japan. I think it has nothing to do with DF's.

The science behind that is pretty weird anyways. Shadows giving life to corpses only to be purified by salt? If anything, salt was just a weakness in Moria's ability.

I don't like the sound of that fake spoiler so I'm glad that won't be happening. There are already so many players involved in this scenario with the marines and their admirals, vice admirals, schichibukai and other special people on one side, and Luffy and the Impel Down prisoners, Whitebeard and his huge crew, possibly Dragon and maybe Shanks on the other side.
Whoever the God Pirates are we don't need them, at least not at this point. -
^LOL @ the last part I won't lie tho when I read GOD pirates the first thing I thought of was Enel.
Basically the current state of the war/ID is completely up in the air where as that spoiler focuses the arc on the God pirates as like the orchestrator or manipulators.
Keep in mind it could still happen(some of it), well sorta probably with a different name or it could just be the revolutionaries or some other pirate group that's been mentioned.

There was a whole bunch of stuff about Akainu being assassinated by the God Pirates and a spy was put in his place. The God Pirates were going to use this opportunity (The Execution) to attack the World Government HQ. Somehow Urouge was in the mix? Like, Iceburg was indebted to him.
I mean, I don't know. I feel incredibly stupid believing any of that.

I dont think that they will meet Blackbeard "on the way". I think that he will evolve into on of the major villains in the future. I dont think that Oda let BB defeat Ace just so that he, a couple of months later would revenge and defeat him. BB is really, really strong and I think that he will play a major role in this upcoming war against Whitebeard. It would be fun if he and Donquite worked togheter. I could really think about those two as Onepieces supervillains.

Yeah agree when Shanks met Whitebeard he saiyed that BB maked that scar on his face so he hurt a YONKOU the fuck ? He is that strong ? We'll see thats why Shanks tryied to stop WB to send Ace after BB.
