ITT: everything of REAL value, personal or otherwise, can be carried with you in the case of an extreme emergency where the entirety of humanity has to fit in a square. No such things at irreplaceable objects exists, and monetary compensation to buy new stuff after your old stuff is destroyed for absolutely no reason makes everything ok because it's not like you could possibly like your old stuff. Also, new buildings pop out of the ground the second the wait time is over.
Seriously, even if people recieved full monetary compensation afterawrds, does it not occur to you that people might still prefer not to lose everything they own? For no reason? The military could blow up your house in a training excersise, but as long as they give you a check afterwards, no harm done?
Don't get me wrong,Daz,I'm not at all trying to justify it or say that a monetary compensation instantly makes it alright.I merely noted that IGO would have to pay some compensations as a matter of fact.Just like an ordinary government would have to do if it ever were to violate it's citizens' right of property in such ways in times of unavoidable Force Majeure…except that there's no Force Majeure here, just Zebra showing off and busting things up because it's awesome.
As I've already noted,I put this stuff in the same category as all those Megazord/Mazinger/whatever battles and the like where they pretty much smash half of the unevacueted neighbourhood "protecting" it.Moral reprecussions are seldom raised, except in a few instances of "oh no!I accidentally stepped on some people! How horrible! Now that I've noted how horrible this is,I'll proceed to throw this vile Mechanical Beast into that building over there and then nuke it all with my loudly announced special attacks".
Things like these are indeed based on the idea of Rule of Cool taking precedence over common sense.
Also, new buildings pop out of the ground the second the wait time is over.

Maybe Kings got their nicknames from ordinary folk that simply wasn't aware of the true heavyweights nearly as much as of these four?
