It seems to me that Kuma was telling Rayleigh that the WG or even the Marines are doing something super shady. Or maybe even the Shichibukai are doing something shady. Or maybe something about Blackbeard. Thus, he is saving the Mugiwara's for a reason. This, to me, helps reason out why Rayleigh says in response, "and you expect me to believe what you say?". Any other thoughts?
Another Spoiler Thread post, incase it gets closed. Don't mind me =)
[hide]@ThunderEarthFire:
Allow me to summarize my thoughts since it looks like the thread is closing soon:
I will move my post to the active thread like I mentioned so we can continue <3.
First off don't ever call me that again a****** I hate that show.
LMAO!!! I am sorry. I have a habit of recalling Captain Planet and his ambiguously gay super powers. I just played off your name. It was selfish, I apologize.
Next you say you didn't get much out of it - but you sure did have a lot to say.
Not that I couldn't say much about it, but rather that it didn't get much of a point across. You labelled me things without proof, etc, etc.
Like I was saying you**'re** anything but care-free - you need to respond no matter how badly other posters prove you wrong and by the way stop lying and saying you were being sarcastic - clearly you weren't as you were trying to portray yourself that way.
Eh? I don't need to respond. I like to respond. In fact, I got really excited when I saw you posted in return. I think the most I get is frustrated with people about a certain topic, but take my arguments with Gorlom as an example. I like Gorlom, and for the most part I like his posts. We disagreed about Kizaru's powers because of a few small reasons. We battled it out. We never really reached a conclusion. Did I get mad at him and have to prove that I am right? No. I did so because I enjoyed it. Was I right in the end? Yes, but who cares about that. I never went back and was like "take that you asswipe!"; I think all I said was something along the lines of "well there is our answer to that." Lying? I was being sarcastic here and there. You are basing my attitude off your own opinion, and since you are not sitting next to me how can you accuse me of this? Prove me wrong? When? Where? I see no proof, and I still fail to see me being wrong. (If you can call it wrong, as I am only speculating).
You say I don't know about debates
Never said this. Don't put words in my mouth. You said something along the lines of how I don't know how to debate or something…I responded by saying "I assume you do understand what a debate consists of". Then wondered how I can debate without….debating.
…but you also say you don't care about other people's arguments - so your not really debating.
Ah-HAH!! I think this is one of your larger misunderstandings here. What I said was: "I understand there can be stuff said to argue against this and I really do not care. The conversation (teleport vs. puni'd) has gone on forever." What I meant was that I am not interested in the other arguments like "well then how come Zoro could dodge Kuma shooting air pressure at the speed of light but couldn't follow his movement if it were the same thing??" etc. I just wanted to avoid some argument we have already had a hundred times over and discuss this new and different portion of the same topic. I never meant to disregard anything else. Sorry if that confused you.
Also I don't give a damn about Miracles so keep him out of this - it doesn't make a bit of difference to our actual argument.
You responded to my post about Miracles, then preceded to claim I didn't know who and what I was due to my responses thereof. I recalled Miracles because he was directly related to your accusations. Thus, it did make a difference. I can disregard him here after, but if it requires it I cannot avoid mention of him just to satisfy your lack of concern for his existence.
As to believing everything you think the point is to be able to question your own beliefs.
Isn't that the point of a theory? Bring something to the table and then question it? Problem is, if I have valid reason to defend said theory, why would I relent? Simply because someone suggests my thoughts are wrong? No, I would continue until someone gives me evidence to strongly suggest otherwise. So tell me, where is this proof you seem to have that what I suggest is wrong? And bad to top that.
You want to know what you said that makes it unlogical? It's cause what your saying is that isn't a rumor so it isn't a rumor, even though he describing it as a rumor. This doesn't work logically.
False. First, I believe the word you were looking for was illogical. Second, I said what he is saying is a rumor, except that the rumor was (likely) only the latter portion of the sentence. Unless you are suggesting that "I hear that" is a rumor, "when someone gets" is a rumor, "bounced by his paws" is a rumor, "that they fly for" is a rumor, and "3 days and 3 nights" is a rumor. No, no, no, no. That is not correct at all. The rumor (could be) simply that someone fly's 3 days and 3 nights. Done. It could also mean, yes, that there is a rumor that Kuma bounces people with his paws ~~ but doesn't that seem awfully irrelevant considering we know he can bounce things with his paws?? So, given that, I am afraid it does work…logically.
You say that Sentoumaru should know because he works under him, yet Sentoumaru clearly indicates that he does not know and says what the rumors are in the place of actual knowledge.
Keep in mind that your "clearly indicates" is solely based off your opinion that every word that came out of his mouth was pure rumor. Also, you should note that I "say" that Sentoumaru should know because he is a Scientist, a Bodyguard to the world's greatest Scientist, a Captain of the Division for Science, and also most likely had some help or information in the experiments regarding Kuma. Perhaps even in putting the DF power into Kuma. But that last portion is pure speculation with no bases outside the notion that Sentoumaru works closely with Vegapunk.
Also my point is that he is far less likely to know it as well.
Knowing all that we know of Sentoumaru, you think he is far less likely to know something of Kuma's abilities and far more likely to knowing nothing of them?
If you want me to answer your analogy then at least make one that's more reasonable and easier to read
I said I could not come up with a better parallel on the spot, but it should be very simple to understand and answer: Man hits ball, ball disappears, other man wonders where ball goes, other man answers with rumor. Man hitting ball is fact. Where ball goes is rumor.
Your large paragraphs don't help you make a point to readers**.** That said**,** neither does this long paragraph, but I don't have much time.
This only helps prove that I am care-free. I am writing to you right now. If someone else is interested, they will read it. If not, at least you should since it is regarding you, right? I hide these long posts so it does not clutter. If I wanted the world to know I was right, I would make it clear and visible. Not hide my points in drawn out and (hopefully) thorough and hidden paragraphs.
So how about I make an analogy? Is it that the rumors are true or that the truth is that they are rumors?
That isn't an analogy. It also makes no sense to our discussion. It is true what he said was a rumor, but again is every word a rumor? Or is the rumor just the point of the sentence. We don't know if the rumors are true. So…there's an answer to your _not-an-_analogy.
We can determine that first is false while the second is true through the manga as I have already pointed out various times.
Not sure what you are referring to here. I am going to step out on a limb assuming you meant my [Marine Science Dept] thingy. If so, are you agreeing with me that Sentoumaru should know stuff about puni? Just not know where they go or what happens after they get puni'd??
You ask where he states puni is a rumor? Everything he was talking about was part of the rumor.
Ehh?? So then: "I hear that" is a rumor, "when someone gets" is a rumor, "bounced by his paws" is a rumor, "that they fly for" is a rumor, and "3 days and 3 nights" is a rumor.
We don't know that Sentoumaru hears anything, because he said it was a rumor.
We don't know that "someone" has anything even happen to them, it's a rumor.
We don't know if they get "bounced by his paws" because that is rumor also.
Etc. Etc. Etc.
I am trying to say you suggested this, only that if you believe the subject of the sentence isn't the point of the sentence and the rumor itself, then you sound like you are suggesting every word he says in the sentence is a rumor. Please tell me you understand that.
What offends me isn't your sarcasm it's your lies. Thats about it.
I do not think I lied anywhere. Are you referring to my sarcasm alone? Or is there something else I lied about as well…?
Anyhow. I have a feeling this will need to go into the other thread since I took so long. LOL. Super-Ultra-Mega-Long Post =)[/hide]
