No he's just can't act even if I had never familiarized myself with Sabat in DragonBall Z I'd still feel & think the same way .

SVES was on Saturdays back when Toonami was still Monday-Friday.
Its still sad and shocking to me the 4Kids OP lasted longer on TV than the Funimation version on CN and FoxBox/4Kids

The ratings for "One Piece" were only terrible on FoxBox/4KidsTV. It did well the entire time it was on Cartoon Network, it's just that now Cartoon Network
is being run by some guy who used to work for Nickelodeon so that's why things are changing.

Dear god, this weekend just keeps getting worse and worse. Despite what it's become, Saturday nights have been the sole reason my TV ever goes to Cartoon Network. And of course; on its final night, I actually got stuck working a shitty shift at work, and missing the final send off…
I have to say, I'll miss Toonami, but at least now, I have no reason to ever turn to this horrible channel. Maybe when the network implodes on itself, it can start being good again.
Fuck. I really miss TV.

One Piece getting canceled was my last attachment to Toonami. I had no reason to watch it anymore, so I'm not affected at all.

Yeah, One Piece was really the only reason I would watch Toonami...so yeah, after its cancellation, I pretty much dropped Toonami but catched it on and off when there was nothing else on and I had nothing to do. 
Toonami was over when it got hit with the "Saturday Only" time slot, it's sad that the thing that got most people into anime is ending but it's for the best…..Hopefully we get some type of replacement or a Toonami-esque block on another network.

Let's see: 1.)Toei and CN were unsure about putting it back on Toonami, now they have to come to terms if it'll even have a home on CN; 2.)Toei will try and find another channel to air it; 3.)It just won't air on TV (I don't want that though…even if it's censored, I wanna see the Skypiea finale on the big screen w/o having to wait for the DVDs).
If anyone else has any other ideas, feel free to add on. :happy:

I am just so tired of Cartoon Network. I may continue to watch Naruto if it continues and Code Geass on Adult Swim if it continues.
I think that if One Piece comes back on TV it should be on another network. One Piece deserves to be on a network that will do something better with it. I would like to see One Piece maybe go to IFC even thought it is not exactly what IFC would normally take. I don't know if Sci-Fi would be a good choice but it is thought. Anyway I would like to see One Piece and other anime go to a network that would have limited edits and would have a consistant schedule. If I was Funimation and the other anime companies I would look into trying to find other networks to show anime.

Nickelodeon hasn't aired anime since the old Nick Jr. days (20 points to anyone who still remembers Adventures of the Little Koala). I doubt they'll start anytime soon. Last I heard was a rumor to air Domo-kun but that was quite some time ago.

This year was revampage. In a very bad way. It seems end of 07 bad was a place holder for late 08 bad. Hopefully late or early 09 will be brighter?

Dont start bashing the guy again just leave him be i for one dont really enjoy the fact that we only get dvd's in such a long period if FUNimation is at such a leap in the series.13 episodes every 2 or 4 months wtf is that? If they cared about the fans they would at least give more episodes like DBZ remastered sets which get like 30+epis a boxset its not enough to really keep some fans going.
Its not only that, but guys, we have to be realistic.
Without a strong TV following (such as DBZ and Naruto), pumping out a whole series of DVD's can get quite expensive. Especially for an anime that's already 360+ episodes and still going, we can only guess how long Funi will keep going until it gives up on the series.
Also, we can basically kiss any merchandising goodbye (such as videogames).

Everyone is seeing this as "the end of One Piece in America." Am I the only one seeing this as a new beginning? By them saying "anime will be handled by Adult Swim", Naruto MIGHT be moved to AS (as silly as it sounds) which means One Piece might be able to find a timeslot there, perhaps even in uncut form.
OR we might see One Piece in this new action block that's coming into play? Even so, if neither of these are possibilities, there's always Nicktoons, Jetix, or even Wam! (they aired Vandread and Samurai Deeper Kyo for sure). I think without Toonami, OP might actually have a better chance of coming on the air in some form or another, since Toei is probably not so adamant about getting OP on Toonami now, since there is no Toonami.
