Kidd vs. Kuma could go either way, for those reason's listed above. That's part of the reason this is such a good cliffhanger.
And by the way: Kidd is not supposed to know that Kuma is a cyborg, so he may not even try to use his DF directly against his body !

There has to be a reason Oda set Kidd against Kuma (or faux-Kuma). If that's THE Kuma I think Kidd will lose the fight but still escape thanks to his devil fruit powers. Even if Kuma is affected by Kidd's powers, Kuma's df power could tip the balance in his favor.
Without a df, Faux Kuma would lose against Kidd due to it's lack of df powers and attraction to Kidd (ahem magnetic attraction only).

If Kid ability only work on metal, does it mean that the person that fight without any metal weapons would win against him easily ? For example like Luffy, and Sanji. You could argue that they have iron in their body, but Kids ability could not be that extend otherwise it would make him so powerful. And the fact that he takes weapons from the marine mean that he can't control the iron in the person body.
By the look of it i would say that Law ability seem more dangerous than Kid

That's assuming he's weak without his devil fruit (and that it's only basic magnetism, though devil fruits recently have had many applications). There's also the fact that he carries knives and potentially other metal weapons on his belt, which he can use in conjunction with his ability.

He carries a knife and a gun in his harness thingy. Also when he first apeared he was picking on Apuu who as far as I could tell had no metal weapon. I think its safe to assume that he is dangerous in either situation.

This Kidd and Kuma conflict is in many ways the same as the Whitebeard shichibukai conflict. It's a battle between two strong forces, and a loss at this point would ruin the name and reputation of that "brand."
Kidd is among the supernovas, the rookies. He's the man with the highest bounty which might suggest he's the strongest. This chapter established that the supernovas have powerful crews, and are in many ways equal to the SHs. Yet, a loss here would be devastating to not only the reputation kid has establish but to all the rookies. If he loses, the supernovas go from being the powerful pirates they've been suggested to be in past chapters to nothing more then shameful jobbers. Yet, Kid beating a shichibukai would prove that the supernovas are pirates on par and maybe more with Strawhat's level. Plus, Kidd might have an ability advantage!
Yet, we have Kuma. A powerful shichibukai. On one hand, having him lose doesn't necessarily disgrace the shichibukai since, I personally don't believe he's the strongest one (though he is strong). Yet, if Kuma loses here it's pretty much over for him–he loses the level of invincibility that comes with being an undefeated villain. Yet, it'd be weird to see a shichibukai lose in such a fashion--having randomly appeared on this island. More or less though, the same things said about Kidd apply to Kuma.
I'm interested in seeing how Oda handles this. It'll be a preview of whether of not he'll destroy one reputation to raise another or end a conflict while holding everyone's dignity in tact.

I'd prefere to see at least one of the warlords lose to someone other then the strawhats. Why are they supposed to take down every last one of them?
And having Kidd be especially strong versus Kuma (like Luffy was vs Enel) is imo the perfect excuse for Kidd to take down Kuma.
If Kuma is defeated but not killed/destroyed in the fight vs Kidd he can still be a fearsome advesary since Luffy can't defeat him the same way Kidd did. If Oda really wants to defeat all the shichibukai that is.

Yeah, I am interested to see how Oda will handle this entire situation. Kidd vs Kuma (If there is suppose to be a fight). There is suppose to be war happening in One Piece that require the Royal Shichibukai but one is on the this island. A lot of stuff is about to get unraveled.

I think you are forgetting that these guys (Shichibukai) do as they please regardless of what the WG says or asks of them.
I wasn't really forgetting but it just seemed weird that he would show up here all of a sudden. Of course, the next chapter will bring more answers but Kuma usually goes where he is asked. As we saw, he has his own discernment on what to do and is an honorable man, but still pretty weird. However, in the event that they do fight, I doubt that Kuma would lose. We just saw him actually fight some chapters ago and he's about to go fight Whitebeards crew so it wouldn't make much sense for him to lose here.
Another thing that some people brought up is that Kizaru's troops are made up of Kuma pacifista's. Now, I can totally understand how the Marines would be surprised at this because that would spell mayhem, but of course these Pacifista's would be just robots without Kuma's DF power which really makes him dangerous.

I think there's a bit more to it than just attraction and repelling; otherwise, i doubt he would of been able to lift the half-ton of iron he had on his arm. Unless he has insane physical power in addition to basic magnetics.

Ah, i see, now. Wasn't really paying attention to the conversation before that, and though you meant benefits that Kidd would have in using his power to control weapons. Then i kinda thought of him controlling, like, a dozen flying daggers, and kinda ran in that direction.
I suppose it's be a matter of strength, then. If the wielder could use sheer might to over-come Kidd's magnetic powers, he could probably fight evenly. Although, considering the cannon ball, this means the wielder would have to swing the weapon faster than a round of cannon fire for it to have the sheer might to connect. I suppose he could also get close enough that Kidd wouldn't be able to slow and stop the weapon in time.

I can't see Kidd winning if his power is limited to magnetism.
He could pick Kuma up and smash him into the surrounding environment.
He could even possibly change the position of Kuma's hands so Kuma has trouble aiming air blasts at Kidd and his crew.
Don't think Kidd is powerful enough to disassemble Kuma like Magneto vs. Wolverine,tanks,Sentinels,etc.
My take on the chapter:
1.
Thing that I kind of notice and dislike is how Luffy uses his gear 3. The gear is awsome and a true feat of Luffy however when he used gear 3 he basically showed the side effects of it too. IMO gear 3 is better to be used on spot once in battle so that it surprises the enemy and than once the side effects show, he is left guessing what happened, before he finds out Luffys back to normal. Thus allowing Luffy to get one bonus shot before the enemy can take advantahe of the handicap
2. Thing would be When SH are kind of leaving they exhcange few words with FFR and Sanji says that he doesnt like relying on them ALL the time BUT that THEY are in a hurry…
Knowing they have relied on them ONLY to find where Camie was taken this indeed does indicate that they were (meanwhile the auction thing went down) doing smth else...while it may not be the ship that has been coated, smth else perhaps...And this i find intriguing, interesting!

MARINE HEADQUARTERS? When exactly was he there?

Like the fact Law not only takes Jean Bert under his wing, but more the fact, he tells him that SH are, just as much as him, to thank that he was saved. That IMO speak volumes of his character and for me he becomes even more "cool", not that he wasnt damn cool before!

Naturally am very interested in whats gona happen with Kuma and Kidd and at this point I ll say that I do think its Kuma and that I would kind of be disapointed if some bots looked like Kuma, however will also add that that being just another pacifista would be the easiest way to solve the really complex situation…(meaning Kid just wams him and moves on and probably the same happens with another SNs, at the same time displaying how one of this pacifista even if not Kuma is strong enough...)

Remember he was hunted by bounty hunters and marines for the sanjay bounty poster. I'm pretty sure that is what they are talking about. He blamed Sanji for some wound (in the back I belive) caused by those that hunted him.

Yeah, but doesn't the One Piece wikia even say it spells 'DETH' rather than Death? Yes, I know the wikia can be edited by anyone, but I'm just sayin'.
Besides, if you're gonna try and spell anything on your fingers, you can't always spell what you want due to limitations. So maybe Law decided to just spell it without the A on his fingers?

Not really. The extended "middle finger" obstructs the next fringer. that finger would also have the A on it if its supposed to spell "death"
