@Ryuksgelus:
One is shaped like a cannonball, one has a hairy face like a wolf, and another looks like a crazy bitch. Not the only person who assumed these three repeatedly shown and emphasized during the Silver medalist comment are the three Iva was talking about. No different than Jean Bart being a random big dude/giant seen multiple times outside the auction house as an extra.
Except that they weren't. Besides they were only shown one time like a lot of prisoners and the one on the right was shown a second. Here's the one with all three.
! Now point out which one is which for me lol.
Who's the wolf, the cannonball and the bitch.
Following Teach doing as he pleases sure. Following Teach loosely following his WG commands like Moria, essentially being his Perona&Abasolom, no way.
Teach already does what he pleases, and anyone in his crew would know that he wants to become Pirate King so they wouldn't look at him as someone following the World Government. Guys like that wouldn't follow him if that were the case.
Franky was but only level 4 or possibly 5. Robin was being taken to Marineford to likely be killed or they were planning to use her knowledge for other means.
Franky knows about Pluton, he's getting thrown in level 6.
None of this refutes what I've said anyway.
300 degree water can kill you if you're in too long. Even weak pirates are stronger than regular people purely on lifestyle. They may just be able to take it, but most researchers aren't going too or any of the tortures in ID. Besides old man who kept on going despite bullet in him but whatever.
What are you even trying to prove with this. Stay on-track with whatever you're trying to say.
The fact of the matter is these guys researched the poneglyphs, if they weren't getting killed outright they'd be getting put in level 6 to be forgotten since what they were doing would warrant it.
Difference is Kidd has explained he only killed people who have made fun of him in the past, not indiscriminately killing people of all ages. Though even with that excuse its not odd to believe he'd be level 6 worthy as he grew in strength&reputation in the NW.
Kidd's bounty wouldn't have been so high if he wasn't killing a lot of people. We were told this through Shackey, and that apparently means a lot of people questioned his ambitions.
It bears repeating apaprently: simply doing those things wouldn't get someone put in level 6.
Bringing up Iva should speak even more on how dangerous the WG view level 6 prisoners, making it even more absurd to even contemplate letting them out.
They're not "letting them out" since they'd be broken out by Teach. Why you're using such words is beyond me.
Besides with the chance for the Navy and World Government to finally start making headway in the New World due to Newgate's death, those guys aren't a concern especially since they have the guy who'd made it happen on their side.
Though I think Iva not being on level 6 was just nonsense to give Luffy a powerful ally to take to war and incite a riot. Had Iva been a level 6 prisoner he'd easily figure out Ace wasn't Dragon's son and thus have no need to leave the prison.
Your "what if" scenarios don't matter here sorry.
I'm sorry but its incredibly retarded to believe for a second killing multiple islands full of people, only being stopped because somebody incredibly powerful was sent after you, isn't enough to be sent to level 6?
Sounds a lot like Kidd there. He gets caught, thrown in level 5 since his bounty exceededs $100,000,000.
Do you think most of the level 6 people are political prisoners, only killed key figures, or tried to revive ancient weapons?
It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think that.
Throw in people associated with the Roger Pirates that weren't outright killed(Tom) and people who've done sick shit and that'd likely be the kinds of people who are down there.
Lets not act obtuse, I could have used Lucci and spandam's dad and my point that you missed would have been the same. They see themselves as the good guys and tolerate such despicable people because they fight people much worse. If there aren't pirates worse than these individuals then Oda has his one big failure
Except none of those two above are unhinged in the brain, which is what you described as the kind of people who are prisoners in level 6, people who wouldn't be rational.
And that whole "if there aren't pirates worse than these individuals" was nowhere near what I suggested. Are you even trying to stay consistent with your posts?
I'm so confused? When did I say they wouldn't join Teach?
When you said that guys like that couldn't "control their violent tendencies" and are all psychos and sociopaths.
You clearly didn't read what I said a million times.
You clearly can't keep on track in this discussion.
Even reading this out of context(response to your post) it should be clear what I was talking about. They'd follow Teach, but Teach isn't allying such a powerful and downright evil aligned crew with the government. Neither side would would be willing and I doubt Teach had any intention of trying.
It's not about allying with the World Government. None of them would be doing it because of that.
They'd be a part of the Blackbeard Pirates, their captain would be Teach and they will follow him in whatever he ends up doing. Just like the current crewmembers he has now are.
You're acting like members of the Shichibukai actually listen to their employers on a constant basis.
No, you people simply(may) underestimate how dangerous the WG may consider level 6 prisoners either collectively or just certain individuals. Yes take out one emperor just to replace them with people who they consider only a notch below in threat.
A notch below in threat to them would be active pirates who weren't caught.Except that those guys wouldn't be taking Newgate's place. As far as the World Government's concerned they'd have won.
Yes this battle is important because the WG is trying to get rid of a powerful symbol of past piracy and more importantly one of the future. You're thinking their willing to destroy symbols using actual credible threats from the past they literally wanted to forget about? We'll see how happy Sengoku is when he Teach stands over WB's corpse Caterina&Shiryuu, by his side.
It isn't even up to Sengoku anyway. As Kuma said to Borsalino, ultimately they don't answer to the Navy.
And as big a situation as this currently is, I see them willing to let guys like that attempt in taking out their biggest challenge.
EDIT:
@onemoment:
Hey, I just don't think that NOTHING will change with Blackbeard's situation after he kills Whitebeard. He keeps his shichibukai postion, owns new crew mates, and the WG does nothing about it cause they won the day. There's no conflict there and that seems boring. True, you might say there's conflict elsewhere, but I can't believe things would go that smoothly with Blackbeard after all this time. And again, that's all assuming things go like we're predicting. All this is based on the belief that Blackbeard really is going to collect crew mates. Literally an assumption based on an assumption here. To call any idea ridiculous based on that just seems silly.
Who ever said it'd be smoothly. Of course it's not gonna be easy, none of what's been happening is.
And it's not even about just getting crewmembers. Hell it doesn't even matter what Teach went to Impel Down for, as long as whatever it is ends up turning the tide his position as an Armed Seas is safe.
Plus, the marines have their cyborg army now. The whole "WG forgives Blackbeard" idea only words if the marines are losing (another assumption on an assumption), which you may say is plausible but for them to be "losing" requires the admirals and shichibukai to be removed from the picture–which I don't see happening. My big problem with this idea is that the WG should be smart enough to see the threat in Blackbeard. In this scenario he robs them, collects more power, and despite this last minute intervention he still shirked his responsibility--the WG wanted him there at the start of the battle with the rest of the shichibukai. The WG has too much to be pissed for, just because Whitebeard is dead doesn't mean they stop enforcing the law. As long as the other shichibukai are still standing I don't see them putting up with this.
And "losing" would be Ace being like a second away from rescue, and that's whenever Teach with whatever he's got planned arrives and turns the tide.
And about the World Government: they put up with a lot from the guys in that position. Hell Jinbei:
-showed up at Marineford a few days prior and rampaged
-got thrown in Impel Down
-never changed his mind in time for the war
-was obviously against them when coming back to Marineford
Yet Sengoku still saw it fit to ask "if that was his answer" upon his arrival.
So not too much of a stretch. That's one of the major advantages, an Armed Seas doesn't get the law enforced upon him/her.
