Oda stated at the end of Volume 0 that the Strong World movie shows Luffy's last adventure as 17 year old.

Strong World the movie is apparently canonical and set after the Thriller Bark Arc, as Brook is shown alongside the other Straw Hats

It doesn't matter that Oda wrote it, he also wrote some fillers and designed lots of filler characters. The 'golden lion' character is canon because it is mentioned in the manga but the strong world story isn't, at least not for now.

Hello guys, I have a HUGE speculation here:
On the matter of having 2 abilities though, I wonder to what extent it would be possible to have complementary abilities. I would argue the main point of having two abilities in your body is not just having 2 powerful abilities but rather having 2 abilities which work well together and do not cancel each other. Say, BB would not benefit from another logia as his darkness fruit would still make intangibility impossible (at least I think it would). Or what would happen if you have enel’s and luffy’s fruit in one body? You need stuff which would help make powerful combination abilities. BB is set, his darkness fruit would suck in and remove abilities and his quake would be devastating. Its simple, yet effective. Buggy’s fruit would be epic with basically anything for that matter. Buggy’s fruit in combination with a logia would render the user about as close to invulnerable as actually possible as even haki blades would simply cut through the main body rather than cut him. Punches would be aproblem though. -
