All right, Kabuto gave his zombies weapons this time…But...Axes and hammers considered swords in Narutoverse?!
Well you could hardly call it 'the 5 swordsman and this hammer guy….oh and someone has exploding toilet paper I think'.
I think the need of a catchy name overruled the need of logic in this case.

How does Suigetsu's brother mastering all the swords even make sense? That also makes me think he's the strongest and I refuse to accept that Sakura reject as stronger than Kisame.

My main question was, since Konoha is the country that has a plethora of ninja that are diverse with techniques, they can't find one, two, or even three at the most to use sealing techniques that are usually quite quick to finish the job? Instead we are forced to watch idiot General Kakashi fail with his genin level plan, just so we can get be introduced to the Mist swordsmen from Suigetsu. Swordsmen that are equally as boring to watching paint dry. At least they produce some action I guess. The real kicker was when Suigetsu was wondering why Juugo was getting out of character. Thanks Kishi for pointing it out and sliding it under the rug with more bull. And omg… Kakashi made a mistake, and his life is in danger!!! I'm supposed to care, but for some reason I don't!

You guys are probably right - the scroll of sword summoning has Sever, Great and Twin signs shadowed - probably referring to the taken by Killer Bee, that fish kid, and Zabuza. Everything else was seen in the battle.

It seems that Kishi now banks on confusing us with his awkward ninja fights.
The single pages of the swordsmen kicking tail were kinda cool. The string guy was actually creative and wicked at the same time.

Then appear behind them, and poof, done.

True, but he could have a least taken out one or more. This isn't Kakashi VS 7 swordsman as we do have other capable ninja about. I don't know who these capable people are, but I'm sure amongst these numbers more than one exists…..hopefully.
Edit: Don't you just love seeing these fodder characters getting decapitated. I'm hoping Kishimoto will give us at least a few more chapters covering this massacre in detail before revealing the obvious outcome.

It would be more effective to give one of the swords than leave him unarmed.
And for comparing Suigetsu's brother with Itachi was a exaggeration, he's more for Kakashi than Itachi, such a pity Kishimoto don't use Kakashi at his full potencial.

He's going to be the last one standing, and will wipe out all fodder characters before getting slain by some off the wall plan by Kakashi.

Some of the most ridiculous fights in all manga have come from Araki's brain… but I don't think i've EVER had to re-read them. They are well explained and drawn to make sense.

This is one of many traits that makes JJBA a good series.

Actually, Kakashi is the one ninja where it wouldn't be an asspull. He's been established from the start as having 1000 techniques. He's just never used any of them. Hell, he should have access to most of the moves Haku and Zabuza used, as well as some of the Akatsuki techniques he witnessed.
So he's the one case where it would be fine if he used a totally different never before seen move set in every single battle as if he had a Batjitsu Utility Belt, or blatantly ripped off what his enemies were doing or had done before, without a training arc justifying it.
But lets face it, apparently 998 of those moves are just useless party tricks.

Artwork definitely helps. Kishi does a decent job getting his point across when he finally gets around to doing it! The explanation was just ridiculous.
Take for instance, Trigun. The manga's art style had me re-reading fights over and over to see what the fuck just took place…

You know I was thinking that perhaps we should stop trying to find the most minutest fault with the current chapters and just enjoy the fact kishis actually bringing back all the little things we've called for during the past few years+.
Even this chapter gave us another opening and good story to suigetsu, an idea what him and juugo are doing, more insight into the swordsman and the blades they carry. More secondary character spotlights, as well as some good ol' honest fighting which involved lots of people dying without a sappy death speech before vanishing into the pages of history.
So yeah the chapter had its faults, but not enough to outweigh the pro's. And maybe the little gripes we have will be resolved next chapter like some many other times seen over the duration of this war.
Maybe I'm just being a bit too optimistic.

...but to treat every chapter like it was the sasuke rescue arc when its actually good saps the fun out of laughing at kishimoto. I just think this topic in general will get stale if every post says the same shit day in and day out.

Smudger is right, let's try to be more optimistic about Naruto while this arc goes better than Sasuke Rescue Arc and other major flaws occured in Shippuden (Despite the Edo Tensei shit and Kabuto forgetting some weapons).
After all, this isn't Bleach that every chapter have flaws in all the pages. -

I'm a few pages late, but people were mentioning Samehada being summoned. Am I blind, because I don't see it anywhere? Just it getting mentioned.
Oh, and I think those animations may be from the newest episode of the anime, On another forum I saw someone joke about th enewest episode being gay, so seeing those pics makes that make more sense.

My question is, why did Kakashi have to run in with a chidori, when he knows it won't do anything? I'm assuming at least he knows zombies are unable to die. Haku immediately grabbed Kakashi anyways, because he seemed unfazed by the attack to some degree. So what was the point? Why not use some type of earth technique that could trap Zabuza?

Two things I just noticed.
1. Zabuza is about to cut haku in half to reach kakashi
2. Kakashi was trying to temporarily immobilize zabuza to give him the time needed for a seal. I think his aim was to destroy his heart to stop or slow down his movements enough for the shadow technique to work. After all Zabuza is insanely strong, which means it'll be too much for Ensui's shadow binding if he's at full strength most likely. -
I watched the episode and those gifs are from it.. Other than those scenes, the episode wasn't terrible. It had some funny parts and the fight scene at the end was kind of cool. The reason all those things are happening is because the bad guy connected Sasuke and Naruto with his Spiderman web Chakra.

It seems as if the filler authors know that the manga is going to end with this pairing. Or some authors were enlighted that Naruto is crap and made this episode to mock it, just like we do.
