If I remember correctly, Walt and Todd dissolved Mike's body in a barrel at the beginning of episode 8.
….Really? Guess I'm not surprised, Walt wouldn't leave a loose end hanging like that.

And then again, maybe not lol.
Wouldn't Walt want to destroy it now, since it's technically evidence?
[hide]Pretty smart plan for Walt to store his money, although both of my parents questioned how he did all that digging and lifted those heavy barrels easy.[/hide]
[hide]Huh? "Easy?" First of all he never lifted the barrels; they clearly showed him pushing them straight out of the van into the hole. After which all he did was turn them upright, which he was shown to do with great effort. As for digging, he was out there god knows how many hours. And when he got home he was basically dead.[/hide]

Maybe they meant it should've taken him longer to pull off[/hide]

! He did it in a montage. Montages make everything quicker and easier. Life would be better with more montages.

Right. Now to avoid getting myself caught in an endless argument of semantics, let's change the subject:
! Will Jesse spill the beans? I mean he definitely doesn't like Hank, but he seriously doesn't care anymore. Hm.
! Will Jesse spill the beans? I mean he definitely doesn't like Hank, but he seriously doesn't care anymore. Hm.
! Actually a more interesting question for me is what can Jesse prove? I mean as a witness his mind is completely gone and after tossing out wads of cash it would be pretty hard to give him any credibility in court. He could divulge a lot of details about their operation and what happened, but is there any evidence lying around that directly implicates Walt? I'm not saying there isn't, but I'm not sure what it would be. Really the best prospect sounds like it would be to go after Lydia, but after slaughtering the entire current cooking crew the ties get even thinner, and I'm not sure why she would finger Walt given that she is scared as fuck on a consistent basis and, as was pointed out in this very episode, Walt had 10 people simultaneously murdered in prison over the span of like 2 minutes.
Another great episode
! -A bit on the slower side, but I guess that's cause they're building everything up.
! -The goons lying on the money pile was hilarious.
! -It's kind of amazing how, even after everything he's done and how far he's fallen, Walt still "cares" about family.
! -So looking forward to Lydia and Todd dying.

! Will Jesse spill the beans? I mean he definitely doesn't like Hank, but he seriously doesn't care anymore. Hm.
! I think Hank might get him to spill. He does hate Hank, but it also seems he hates Walt now too because he's convinced he killed Mike and lied about it. His conscience grew a lot the last season, so he may just turn everyone in (or Walt) out of morality.

! Well, he went after Skyler for a testimony even though she didn't have physical evidence either. A testimony from Jesse might be enough to get the case going. They are linked in the fact that he was an ex-student so his story could be enough to convince the rest of the DEA.
! I don't think Lydia, as of now, is a danger to Walt. She kind of did him a favor by killing his old distributors in a way. She was linked to Fring but the DEA already investigated her company and she framed someone else so she's in the clear for that. I'm sure she will become a big problem later (because she's trying to restart the cooking operation), but as of now her operation seems irrelevant to Walt's problems.

! My entire hypothetical was assuming it'd be enough to get the DEA to investigate. I was saying if Jesse coughed up everything he knew, the DEA might have the best chance of pinning something on Walt by going after Lydia, who really is the only one currently still involved with the business and who has ties to Walt. Pretty much everyone else is dead.
Epi.10 was…..blah...ended on a 'oooohhhh shit' kind of moment, kind of like ep.9 For the first time ever I'm baffled as to how this series will end, so many options, so many scenarios, so many mind fooks.
I keep remembering Badger's Star Trek script from episode 9. Three contestants: Kirk, Spock and Chekov. (Jessie, Hank and Walt) Kirk calls it quits (Jessie has gone off the deep end and may not come back.) Spock is Hank for obvious reasons, but Walt is Chekov mainly because of the reoccurring theme that you wouldn't expect him. Scotty working the transporter is going to be Todd (continuing to cook meth) and Sexy Uhura walking in and distracting Scotty… well Lidia's going to have to play some role in WW's demise and with Todd.
I mean a 5 minute stoner speech in Breaking Bad, usually has major foreshadowing.

A Chekov's Gun literally with Chekhov? XD

… I don't even know how to describe my reaction to this. XD
Dean Norris is da' man.
Just getting into this show, it's really is good(save for some major missteps in some of the writing). Along with borderline melodramatic moments that just take's me out at times.
It's essentially like reading a really great suspense novel, with tragic Shakespearean downfall bent to it. I would say that if it weren't for the massive stupidity and overly flashy goofy moments that kinda decimates the tone of the show sometimes it would be the top contestant in my favorite television shows along with the Wire and The Shield. Television really is more interesting then film these days, and shows like Breaking Bad proves that.
Saul is my favorite character, the actor who plays him is phenomenal though I find it kinda funny that he isn't Jewish)I first thought of him as because of his character's last name). He kinda reminds me of Levy from the Wire. –Both sleezy, sly, lawyers that have a penchant for having scum for clients-- cept' Saul ain't a jew and is more funnier.

Dean Norris is a hilarious dude and he basically IS his character off the set. Well, he's more like his character from the early seasons publicly. I like everyone from BB off the set. Cranston is pretty damn funny, Betsy Brandt has a real light in her eyes and is lively, Anna Gunn is a huge conversationalist (like all of 'em), Gilligan is really reserved and humble about his show. If you wanna see a huge contrast watch how different the actor for Gus is off-set.
Mike is pretty much the same. :wassat:
[Breaking Bad premiere translated into the wonderful language of emoji

hahahahah Walt
Oh walt
OH MY FUCKING GOD!
! So it looks like Jesse is the one that did all the stuff to Walt's house that's been shown in the flashforwards. I was thinking it had something to do with the ricin when Jesse was freaking out but that was a while ago. He just made the connection that Walt was the person who poisoned the kid.
Yeah, the ending was pretty tense.
Oh man; the shit just hit the proverbial fan… Walt has to get rid of Jesse now.
! I don't understand what tipped Jesse off. He already speculated that exact thing back when he almost shot Walt, so why did looking at his cigarette pack make him think it again and make him so sure this time? I must have missed something.
! He almost did kill Walt before but he convinced Jesse that he didn't do it. When he was standing around he was desperately looking for his pot but couldn't find it. He realized that one of Saul's guys stole it from him and made the connection that they did it before with the ricin cig which is why he's pissed again now.
This episode was insane! Man things are heating up!
This episode has me anticipating for the next episode so much!
ending was wild
while Walt has incentive to off Jesse now, it still ain't happening
as this episode expressed quite well, Walt has manipulated Jesse throughout their entire relationship. Walt can't get the final say by taking Jesse to the grave.
also that confession tape lol lol lol
Dear Hank,
You're going down with me.
Love,
Walt~
lol junior is still in the house
wonder when he's gonna find out btw
maybe as his fucking house is burning to the ground
! That confession tape…..Walt you evil genius!
! Holy shit this show just got crazy. I was like Walt what are you doing when he gave the tape to Hank but it turned out to be a big slap in the face and now Hank is pinned. Walt is nuts. And the shit with Jesse was so intense I can't even…
! lol @ Huel though "excuse me"
Right up there with my favorite episodes.
! Thoughts on Alaska and why that was Jesse's choice? Very far from Walt without leaving the country? Jesse's also a fan of Ice Truckers.
Anyway, that was the episode I've been waiting for. Vince Gilligan & his writing team are really stepping on the accelerator.
! And yes, the confession tape was amazing. Just utterly vile and ominous the way it came through on the screen.
! I was like Walt what are you doing when he gave the tape to Hank but it turned out to be a big slap in the face and now Hank is pinned. Walt is nuts.
! I don't know if I'm the only one who saw it this way, but to me that confession tape was way more than just blackmail. It was also a way for Walt to ACTUALLY confess to Hank, and to somewhat show his side of things. Everything from the fear of leaving his family bankrupt to feeling trapped with Gus to terrifying Skyler to finally trying to quit. It was just overall sad to me.

! I didn't see it that way when I was watching, but that might be right. His "performance" did seem sincere, and he did just replace his name with Hank's. But I feel it was first and foremost a threat. He wanted Hank off his tail, and this did the trick for the time being.
! Also, I was thinking just now that what if Walt Jr. and Holly are in the house right now… and they die... Skyler would never forgive Walt for that, Walt would want to kill Jesse, and Jesse.. well it looks like he already wants to kill Walt. Anyway, that's unlikely, but that'd be so much worse. Just a weird thought I had to make things even more intense lol

! Nah son. You got played. Walt ain't got no heart left at all. Cranston did that scene too well cause it's just perfect. No Jury would convict him after seeing it. It managed to tug on your heart strings and you know the truth about him.
! Since we know in the end the house does't burn down anyway and I don't think Walt can convince Jesse not to kill him twice over the same poisoning. So not only will the house not burn down but knowing Walt is still alive I think it's almost safe to assume that Jesse is about to die.
I am so glad I'm watching this as it comes out. There's no way I wouldn't binge watch this all if I could, and this way, it really keeps up the suspense. Rarely has television had a dramatic powder keg of this size at one end of a burning fuse.
! That tape was pure Heisenberg. Walt may be an arrogant, self-centred ass but this is pure evil genius. Hank's over a barrel now. And cornered Schraders have shown a tendency to bite.
! Walt and Jesse's scene together - oh boy. This is one of the best examples of a non-romantic abusive relationship on television. It says a lot that despite what he was saying, Jesse was still willing to disappear for Walt.
! …well until that happened. I was half-expecting Saul to be shot given we've seen so much of him this episode, and I'd not have put it past Vince Gilligan to spread rumours of a Saul spin-off to throw us off. But no, he lives, although he's not exactly in his comfort zone.
! And it looks as though we're going to get a gun duel over at Casa White. As others have said, we know it doesn't burn, so something is going to stop Jesse. Maybe Walt Jr might be caught in the crossfire?"Hey, I smelt something cooking, is it breakfast?
! I can't believe that was only one episode. It felt like at least two.
! Well, after two episodes of relatively little screentime and activity, Jesse really got his chance to shine in this episode. Oh yeah, and while the confession tape was just diabolical, so was Walt manipulating Junior. So hyped for next week.
! Realized another thing, I think Walt's lotto ticket will burn in the fire as well leaving him with no idea where his money is. Jesse to blame. Jesse dead.
Yay I was hoping someone would do that. That would still be a pretty mean taunt, perhaps as if to say, "remember who you thought was the genius?"
! Realized another thing, I think Walt's lotto ticket will burn in the fire as well leaving him with no idea where his money is. Jesse to blame. Jesse dead.
! It's likely more for Skyler than for Walt himself. He probably remembers the location because he drove there himself very recently, and on top of that it's the location of his first cook with Jesse in the RV. I think simply trying to burn down the house will be enough for Jesse having an ice bullet in his head to take place. It's still likely, of course, that the lottery ticket will be burned.
this was posted after the VMAs
!
The writing of this last episode was ever purer than the meth the show is about.
! I think going with the next episode title we might see the end of Jesse Pinkman. I expect him to kick the bucket in a gun-duel with Walt because the next episode title says "Rabid Dog" which obviously refers to Jess so I'm assuming that like an old, tired dog who's suffering from rabbies or gone wild it's Walt's responsibility to out him out his misery forever. I think it makes sense for Jesse to go out in this episode since there really isn't nothing else for the character at this point. It's feasible that Jesse might die in this episode, but I could be wrong he could very well survive. Though I'm expecting him to bite the dust this episode.
this is so perfect
His impersonation of Gilligan is spot on.
That hair was awesome!
