Robin doesn't call anyone by name in the original jap. manga, except for Luffy once or twice, but that's it.

Chris Sabat is definitely getting into his role as Zoro/Zolo. I loved his first reaction to Sky Island. Just perfect. As a matter of fact, all the voices are just getting better and better! <3

There was another slight error in Robin's dialogue.
"Sea prism stone? I've never heard of that before"
Her original line is "Robin: Seastone?! They're related?" (trans. blatantly stolen from stephen! and yes, it's 100% correct.)Robin not knowing about seastone… bah! :p
This is a MINOR complaint, though. I love the dub, make no mistake!

I personally like it because sometimes I want to re-watch a specific scene. It also lets people comment on those specific scenes and not a whole mess of different comments for the whole episode (yeah, I like gauging people's reactions for the episode)

Thanks for the uploads ChibiGoku! I'd go mental waiting for the DVD release since I don't have cable. You are a lifesaver… pick whatever flavor you like and you are it!
The voice acting ramp up has been surprisingly quick for the series. Each episode sounds better and better. I might be alone in this, but I love Eric Vale's Sanji. I find his delivery delicious.
I can't believe they kept heso. I never would have guessed that they'd leave it alone.

Yeah. One problem I noticed with YouTube is that some scenes aren't available to view. Not to mention, most of the full episodes have been pulled and the ones remaining are subbed in different languages.
Plus YT could use some GOOD English One Piece clips. :P

Yeah Robin saying "Zolo" and "Luffy" bugged me slightly, but I'm almost expecting it at this point XD I think the reason no one is complaining is because Charagon isn't here.
I'm glad they kept heso, it might not be as funny in English, but I enjoyed it none the less. This is the first time I've heard Laura Baily… she DOES sound like an angel. I like her dad's voice too (the guy who's name I can't spell)
This episode made me laugh a lot too. I LOVED Ussop STINKS!... I was wondering how they'd do that. I loved it. Hilarious!

I did get a response from Mike McFarland. Basically he said he noticed the thing about Robin NOT using their names before anyone even said anything XD He's reviewing this stuff for the scripts for the DVD release so there's a good chance that'll be fixed ^_^

My roommate brought his friends over right at the halfway point of the show, so I have to go back and watch it thoroughly to get an opinion proper.
I DID, however, appreciate the fact that the Master Control Operator is finally letting up on One Piece and didn't put in the first commercial break until Conis was introduced 10 minutes in. For awhile I was thinking we'd get lucky enough to see just one commercial break at the eyecatcher, but just as well.
From what I also got to see was the awesome fact that the flow of this episode felt so natural with the voices. Funi has found their niche with this series after 10 episodes of warming up. I seriously cannot wait for more.

What I wanna know is, how are FUNi making these mistakes about lines being the complete opposite of their originals (like the Robin seastone thing, Mystery line, and several others in past episodes) and Robin referring to the crew by their job titles?
If they're translating this from Japanese, there's no reason they should be doing this…

I think it has to do with lip syncing maybe? When Luffy asked Robin if he followed to coast would he reach Mock Town, I think originally she said "yes you will" but they needed an extra word in there, so they threw his name in. Same with Zolo in today's episode.

Robin said she didn't know what Sea Prism Stone was. In the original she said she did.
Seems like a goof they probably just oversaw. It'll most likely be fixed for the DVDs.

I'll be fine if they put the sake mention in the uncut dvd's.
As for this One PIce episode, I guess all I can say is that it is really fun so far. I liked it, and am getting used to Sanji's new voice.

I really love America. I love how concerned networks are that children don't develop negative behavior. I especially love how they are so concerned with that that they are willing to overlook little kids getting beaten, scarred, bludgeoned, and gored.

Well, it's not really a positive message to the kids, saying that if you drink alcohol you get stronger.
It's a no brainer why they would edit it. Not even Naruto's dub can get away with that.
