It wasn't that big of a twist anymore after Stark's sex slave kicked him for letting Old Guy take over. That pretty much confirmed everyone's suspicions about the lazy guy being #1.

I too like Halibel's design. I expect her to eat Hitsugaya soon. And as for ranks, I suspected that it might be Stark since it would be too obvious for Barragon to be number one, not to say that I didn't think it as well.

Ichigo is going from Grimmjow #6 to Ulquiorra #4. I have to admit, I'm very interested in what released form will look like.

Well you got me there. Haven't seen it myself, so I'm only really basing it off of the main character and whoever gets on the dvd covers.

Halibel looks fucking awesome. Her design shot up to one of the coolest in the Espada once she unzipped that jacket. Also, I've said before how awesome, and fitting, it would be for Stark to be #1. Having a guy be that lazy and apathetic for a damn good reason (mainly being that he's so damn strong he can just coast by everything) is always a treat. Plus, it's nice to see that the top Espada has a thousand times more personality than the top Captain.

Plus, I kinda like the thought that Stark is so lazy he defers command to the #2 guy.

Nice twist there, Kubo. Five point sticker for you!

Yeah… it was the ultimate 'Jump out of my chair and shout 'YES!! YES!!' ' moment when Stark was revealed as #1. Well, not really, but I was very very happy. I wanted Stark to be #1, but I thought he was going to be #3. Because Halibel is a woman and looked like Soi Fon, I thought she was going to be #2 to match this, and for obvious reasons, I thought Barragan was going to be #1.

In any case, I've been waiting for Stark vs. Kyouraku since Stark got sexually abused by Lilinette back when he was first introduced.

In any case, I have a feeling Stark's Resurrecion involves something with a large jaw, or a secondary jaw. Maybe an alligator, shark, or crocodile? I also think that Kyouraku's Shikai's powers and Bankai revolve around either wind or bones of some kind. If my prediction is right, I would seriously lol if Kyouraku's Bankai gives him wings, especially butterfly wings.

But alas, it looks like Kubo's gonna go back and do the whole Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra fight now.

So however this fight goes out I'm sure Yamamoto will be a bit exhausted meaning that (since I consider Yamamoto to be stronger then Shunsui) Shunsui won't win against someone who's stronger then Barragan. This would actually be the perfect opportunity for the Vizard to step in.

Amazing chapter hands down. I was hoping Halibel would be number 2 though and Barragan number 3. Her mask does indeed make her look awesome and threatening. I still wonder where her hole might be. I doubt Hitsugaya is down for the count. Atleast not yet. I don't think Yama is going to fight Barragan. There's still Ukitake and Soifon left. So I'm thinking Ukitake against Halibel and Soifon against Barragan. Kubo confirmed many of us who thought Stark was number 1. Stark vs. Shunsui will most likely be the best fight in this arc. Can't wait to see both their potentials.

Well, we'll get to see Ulquiorra fight with some techniques so that's enough to look forward to. Personally, I don't really want to see Ichigo beat him right now…especially right after barely beating Grimmjow and being saved from Nnoitra. He would have closed the gap pretty quickly. Maybe someone will come and help him out. However, I'm sure a lot of people were looking forward to see what the other Espada could do and now we'll have to wait when we finally get to them.

Oh, that reminds me. Where's Yammy?

Damn, best chapter in quite a while. Honestly, I thought Kubo would do the predictable thing and make Barragan number 1, but I was delighted to see that Stark is number 1. Also, I predicted that Halibel would be number 3. And at the end we see Ichigo and Ulquiorra. Very anxious to see what we're gonna get next chapter.

Month nothing: with the Christmas period starting in this chapter, we only get one more chapter for New Years…until about the middle of January...and then seeing how long Ichigo/Grimmjow was (and how Ulquiorra was hyped from day one of this arc)...get some snacks, everyone, we're going to be there for a while.

Kudos to Kubo. He did the impossible… I actually...kinda like bleach now. This chapter was pretty damn awesome, getting to see the top 3 actually get serious and knowing we have Bitchigo vs. #4 to look forward to makes it even sweeter.(If #4 and kenpachi were ever to fight there'd finally be a bleach fight in my top 10 anime fights list.) Up till now I couldn't really get on board due to the weak storyline and extremely dull character designs. But these arrancar continuously impress me. Even though most of em are blatent ripp offs of the captins personality wise, kubos done a good job keeping me on my toes and fleshing these guys out. I mean when the walking fanservice manages to show off MORE of her chest and then proceed to make me 4get about em... Well yo've done a good job. This chap kinda felt like the galley la revealing themsellves as the cp9 in op. And we have the arrival of the power...I mean ViZORDS to look forward to. Here's hopin some of em sit around and watch Bitchigo vs. #4 so they can save his butt when #4 releases. :D

I actually am, since as far as I can tell Kubo is doing something different with this fight. Unlike past fights, Ichigo is going in without the benefit of some kind of training arc. It stands to reason that Ichigo should still lose just as badly as he did last time, yet storywise Ichigo must lose

Basically, I'm picturing the most absurd, bizarre, or out there power up to let Ichigo fight in this battle. I dunno, maybe Orihime's previous revival of Ichiigo will do something. Maybe his hollow form will eat Grimmjow, or Yammy (I mean, where is that guy and how can he be useful to the story?). Maybe Ichigo will do something relating to Squad 0 later down the road. Shunsuei (sp) can reasonably beat Stark, as can Yama beat Barrigan. I dunno about Iceboy, but if not him the…sick captain can take over. Yet, out of the four espada fights upcoming, Ichigo's fight has the highest WTF potential. Sadly, that makes it the most interesting fight. To me at least.

I heard hollow ichigo is supposed to take over and he gets like a lvl 2 hollow transformation.

oh you guys didn't know.. ichigo is definitely part saiyan, after every beat down he gets stronger, so after this fight he'll be ready for aizen no problem

I wouldn't be surprised if that happens…I mean Byakuya has 2 bankai moves right, so it wouldn't really be out of place. The bad thing will be Kubo giving Ichigo a 2nd hollow form.

Ichigo is already trained in permanent Bankai like Goku and Gohan learned to make SS1 their default state before the cell games.
