Magellan's body is always poisonous. Not like Ace or Kizaru who can literally turn their bodies into their element 100%. Magellan's blood is poisonous, his sweat, his breath, etc. while Ace and Kizaru's bodily functions aren't. Thus, even though if memory serves correct, he wasn't covered in the Hyrda, he still had some type of it on his skin.

and Smokers was…well a logia has to actually 'turn on' his power for it to phase through him. Someone like Crocodile has trained their abilities to activate like a reflex so he turns his power on just before he is hit.
Smoker's situation was a gag. Like how Nami manages to hurt Luffy with punches in spite of her being way to weak to injure a rubberman that way.
Besides, logia-type Power Users are in their elemental state by default. It's what we've been shown throughout the comic.

Magellan's body wasn't altered by the Doku Fruit; he can create and subsequently control poison, but didn't literally become it.
It's why he gets sick from eating poisonous food, Had the Doku Fruit been a become/control type paramecia Devil Fruit and Magellan's insides been altered as a result of literally becoming a poisonman he wouldn't be affected by it.
EDIT: Plus obviously Luffy wouldn't have been able to make any type of contact with Magellan when he used Jet Bazooka, and intangibility like that is exclusive to logia-type Power Users.

I'm just saying that the difference between Mr. 3 and Magellan is that Mr. 3 doesn't melt away when he uses his powers, parts of Magellan's body are seen to disappear in the manga when he uses them. I agree that we have never seen a Logia get hit when they knew a hit was coming except in special circumstances, but we have also never seen a Paramecia's body disappear into their fruit trait either (as Magellan does).

Re-the dial question–I would think the new dial would absorb the impact, yes, and now that you ask I wonder, if that's the case, if that would make the reverb that injures the user get absorbed as well? I wonder if we'll ever see it in a battle? It could be a cool wrinkle, as a referrence back to Skypea, and it would probably involve Usopp as the current dial user on the crew, but it would probably force the dial users involved to resort to other weapons if they each canceled each other's dials out.

We already know that Kuma knows where he sends people. The only way we could have chalked it up to coincidence by any means is if Perona didn't ask for a gloomy castle.

Interesting, more like. I imagine that's a yes if you have them stacked, one on top of the other (probably with the impact dial against your palm), in your hand when you use them… If they fit.

Not sure. I doubt it, though since it might have something to do with the DF leaving a body after it's died.

Theres probably a two fruit limit. Based on his DF description he's probably storing the Tremor Tremor fruit inside that void his original DF contains. Keeping the powers seperated from each other. But if he absorbed another fruit into the place he is storing the Tremor Tremor fruit then i'm guessing that would be just like a Container trying to "eat" more than one fruit. It'd probably be impossible to control.
But with the Tremor and the Darkness he doesn't really need anything else.

I'm guessing Reject dial is a Perma-Impact dial. Meaning no matter how many times you use it it'll always have the same function and same power.
Impact is more like a spring. It absorbs the shock and then releases said shock.
So it may be able to absorb a reject attack. I don't see why it wouldn't be able to take the force of it since Impact dials have taken a Gomu Gomu no Bazooka. But it'll only be a one time use.

You're thinking of a version of the greek legend of the cerberus, which is indeed a theory on the flag.
I already posted this in a different thread recently but yes the 3 heads likely refer to the blackbeard pirates' theme of 'destiny'. There are a few things in mythology that associates the number 3 with destiny. -
I just thought about this, if he could take as many DFs as he wants, then he would have probably taken Ace's DF.

Im fairly sure the answer to this is that the translation of shirohige is actually "white facial hair" so him only having a white mustache would fit…however translators, etc. adopted whitebeard because it sounded better

And in Japanese the word used by Oda basically means facial hair--so mustaches and beards are both included. We don't have such a general word in English, but I imagine they were attempting to tie into pirates of the past like Blackbeard, so went with White Beard

Using google search, I've found many. Mangareader.net is popular. Their website gets clogged easily.

Not really..they delete old chapters when the new volume comes out, so that isn't really helpful
