I am asking this because I'm curious.
Is there a map of the One Piece world?

Yes. Though the positions of the islands on the Grand Line aren't that clear.
-
The map of the OP world would be incomplete. So its best to wait till Nami accomplishes her dream.
-
Okay how about a map of the parts of the OP world we've seen so we've seen so far (East Blue, Alabasta, certain parts of the Grand Line)?
-
There's map of East Blue..
-
I think there's a very basic map of the globe in some of the earlier volumes that show how the Blues relates to each other, the Grand Line, and the Red Line.
But yes, it would be safe to assume that since Nami's dream is to draw a map of the world that no such map exists (or, if there is one she a) doesn't know about it or b) wants to do one anyways).
-
If olny Oda created a map of the Grand Line with islands with names, that would be neat.
No, I don't mean the map Crocus laid out
-
If you reverse the covers of Color Walks they come together to form a map that covers their journey. The areas on GL are more or less displayed, while there's a detailed map of East Blue.
-
I imagine we won't see a map of the first half of the GL until the SHs are in the second… Makes sense to me for Oda to give out a map of whats already gone by.
-
Nami will be the first one to make one since being the second to make one is worth shit.
So no, there isn't.
I use PTSETLogicv4.0
-
maybe there is one done only its not really useble since its crap?
wont nami have to travel the GL like wasnt it 7 different log pose passages? so 7 times to complete her map?´
im also thinking that makeing an overview map is going to be kinda hard since the only way to know how islands are related to each other on a grid where north, south, west and east are noted is to have a Southbird along for the entire travel (and even then its sketchy because of the unpredictable sea that makes up GL)
even if nami can do without that her overview map must have gotten messed up when they set for Jaya instead of skypiea and after skypiea when returning to blue sea. -
there isn't a complete map of the world since noone except roger has gone in raftel and nobody has found all blue and nobody knew the existance of the sky island
so there islands and places to be seen
now a question, how can nami make a world map when the SH haven't gone in all the islands of GL?????
i can see nami making a map of the new world and then sailing on her own to finish going in all the places and all the blue (west, north, south) in the end of one piece when the crew is propably dismissed
-
If you type map in the search box i made the very same topic and i managed to get a small map of some place.
-
fixus didnt Luffy find a skypiea map?
didnt they come across another pirate ship that got attacked by the raiders?
people know about skypiea its just lost and forgotten or the people on Jaya are stupid and left out of the loop of its existance. (there was another way up according to gann)
-
If I remember rightly, it's said that the paths along the Grand Line all come together, and if the diagram is anything to go by, there's only a few islands that each one has that's unique, so Nami would probably just be able to sail around that are, mapping the islands there.

@Kuso:

Well, the thing is that there is 7 paths and even if the SHs make it to the end of the GL, there will be 6 paths left that Nami can't draw, or she had to make 6 others travel around GL.
So I don't see how Nami can fullfil her dream by the end of One Piece (of course I'd like she could do it, but I really can guess how atm).
-
There is no complete One Piece world map, but Nami will undoubtedly have finished it by the time Luffy reaches Raftel/Rough Tale.

you mean this thread?
http://www.apforums.net/showthread.php?t=10989that resulted in this "map"?
http://arlongpark.net/Encyclopedia/Atlasnot really that precise… (hmm is that an island inside the calmbelt? omg the mystery is solved. One piece is on an island in the calm belts... outside of logpose passages and guarded by seakings!!!!!! well probably not but...)

Woo, looks like my memory of the grand line joining into a single line of islands is pretty inaccurate…
-
Seeing as thats what Nami is trying to achieve for the first time, I'd say… no?
-
Why is everyone pointing out that nami wants to draw one?
maybe Sadhrg wasn't talking about a map in the OP universe but a map availeble to us readers to look at and see how far the SHs has come already or whatever we want to do with a map.
-
Another question:
If you can't determine the islands position by navigating, how will she ever add the entry?
-
Oda answered that in an SBS… Their on this site - go read them and be enlightened.
