Less than 24 hours to go. I can't wait to hear all the dub voices (I've ignored that clip so that the initial impact will be there).
After years of waiting, finally a good dub of One Piece, later today. So exciting.

so people are gonna stitch the new dub audio to the original raw? that's kinda cool, all you need to after that is get someone to say "zoro" in an approximation of each characters voice and dub piece uncut arrives early ;)

I have to close every Saturday night, so no OP for me. BUT I did manage to get this weekend off to go to my mom's for the premiere. I think I told them I was going out of town or something (which is kinda true). Either way I got the day off, so at least i can see the first one.I guess it wouldn't matter much though as I don't have cable at my apartment anyway

Wow, i'd like to see that! But, while your waiting for that, when the bitoorent comes out and I finish downloading that, I'll upload it to Veoh so you can watch and download it at the same time (I might do it with all the episodes…)!

The Redubbing every "Zoro" Line is a dumb Idea, but If I remember right, when FMA hit AS, the only changes made were the Blood, so someone actually took the Dub Audio from TV and Added it to the Muted Uncut Video from the Japanese DVDs!!
It would be AWESOME if someone did that… Actually... I DID supply the raw and Fansub of Hellsing OVA III... so I do have the Programs to do such a thing... ponders

well, I've been fiddling around in Goldwave and Virtual Dub, and Assuming FUNi wasn't forced by CN to make too many major Dialogue Cuts (as in Cut Completely, not changed) for whatever reason (Time constraints, like the dialogue fades out due to that being where it faded into a commerical) then I think I'll be able to pull this whole "Paste the Dub Audio onto HQ DVD Rip" off!
Although, I'm not sure about my Capture Settings for audio (Capturing off my DVR) so I don't know if I can get it Ripped from the TV in HQ…
Also, if this Does work (which I'm not Guaranteeing) I MAY be able to do it each week, if I get some help. so anyone who knows anything about Video/Audio Editing who would like to Help, contact me Via the contact info in my Profile (IMs Prefered, but PMs and E-mails are good too)

Not sure if anyone has checked the schedule lately, but the titles for the next two episodes are now up. Also, does the homepage of Cartoonnetwork.com crash anyone elses browser? It kills IE & Firefox and I had to eventually google Cartoon Network schedule in order to actually see it.

Well, the day a lot of us have been waiting around half a year for is finally here. It's almost amazing to think when I tune into One Piece tonight, I'll be greeted with an English version of Hikari E. It's like a dream come true.

I could setup my Logitech Camera tonight (ironically my TV right next to my computer where I could easily record the whole episode. Though, I may have the risk of family walking in interrupting it. Though, I figure I could quickly upload it the second its over, giving you all the fastest possible rip (low quality) if uploading goes well.

Yeah, I just tested it out and it seems to work fairly well (I'm uploading the test video now for what to expect of the quality.)
I will be recording in 640x480 with a Logitech Quickcam. The TV i'm recording from is a 25 inch Zenith - a full screen TV with basic cable. Thats right, this ain't gonna be very pretty, but it will work. The microphone is also in the camera so it will record as it goes. I'll likely quickly edit out the commercials then upload it within an hour/90 minutes of it ending - Eastern time. My bandwidth tends to be crappy so it will uploading at 30 kb/s per second on megaupload if all goes well.

You know how to set it up so you actually record a good quality verison, because I will not watch something recorded by someone who has the low level of intelligence to set up the camera and record the TV and not what's on it.
EDIT: It appears you don't, so I'll give you a quick guide to getting a decent quality.
You should have a cable that allows you to watch what's on your camera on your TV, it should look something like this: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/14/Windows_XP_SP2_Movie_Maker_2-1_files/image004.jpg
On the back of your TV set you probably have a Video out slot with similar connectors, you want to connect your camera to that, or any other video out places you may have on a VCR.
If you can't get a good quality recording, then don't waste the bandwidth of uploading a bunch of shit.

Enjoy the episode everyone! Since Canada isn't getting the dub yet, I'll be watching Arlong Park like a hawk for all the reactions come 10pm. No doubt there's gonna be alot of them, postive, negative, conflicting, and everything else in between. I'm definitely eager to hear the reviews of Sanji and Robin's VA's, as well as Vic's opening song performance.

Of course you won't see the fan's relection or the computer monitors reflection because my window will be closed, the light will be off, and the computer will not be facing the TV.
