@_Meh_:
I took Momonga's decision to wait two more days as "his Way of Justice" … Momonga is just looking at the big picture: why hand down a death sentence to a group of people who aren't harming anyone and additionally risk five battleships and thousands of Marines, all for a conceited coquette who isn't worth the gunpowder it would take to sink her? Besides, his orders said "within three days"...
Meh – excellent! I hadn't thought of it this way at first, but now that I've read your post, I can't imagine it any other way.

Also note before she attacks him she says, "Before I get too attached."
That Margaret would doubt her own ability to resist Luffy at so early a stage in their acquaintance makes me think she knows she's already lost to him. But years of training and fighting on the island made defending herself a more-or-less automatic response – something she'd do as much by instinct as by conscious decision. Fighting him is also a way to rescue what's left of her pride: this way, when she's feeling ashamed after having abandoned her Amazon sisters and their isalnd, she can console herself by saying: "well at least I gave him a good fight!"
I think Tashigi has a similar midset -- but I'll spare you that discussion until the crew sets foot on Wano. ;)
Hopefully you have caught up with the posts in the thread? A lot of good speculation this week IMO. Would love to hear your thoughts.
When I dropped in at 4am this morning, I had just enough time to read the chapter and throw down some first impressions before wandering off to bed. Haven't had a lot of time this afternoon to read, but I did want to comment on a few things that caught my eye. I'll try to come back and read more thoroughly, but time is a big issue this week. Thanks for the kind word though abouot my thoughts.
No offense, but I always assumed for some reason you are a girl. Am I completely mistaken? If you aren't, seriously no offense…I just assumed for some reason. Not sure why.
Well, there's a reason for your confusion: I've never stated what I am, and I never correct people when they guess it wrong – so you'll sometimes see me addressed as "he" and sometimes as "she" and sometimes even as "it"!
Whatever you want to call me is fine with me. Just be nice, eh?
@hoomj:
Yeah, seriously. This question has been asked several times now and no one is able to tell us what the hell happened to the poll.
So again: WHAT HAPPENED?
Hoomj – this may seem kind of obvious, but if nobody has an answer to the question, then that would account for the lack of response. It's not that you're being ignored; it's that nobody has the information you want. No amount of shouting, repeating or complaining will put that information into our hands faster. It will arrive when it arrives. So let's just chat about the chapter instead, while we're waiting for it.
@rusashi:
How is his passage to Rayleigh secured? I doubt Hancock is going to stop at Shabondy for Luffy, I have a feeling he'll have to stow away (just like he did with Alvida)
Sorry for the confusion, I wrote that when I should have been sleeping instead. What I meant to say was that it would lead him to Ace. I see him as stowing away on the VA's ship, not on Hancock's ship. And when the VA ship returns to base – which seems like the most logical destination for it -- he can jump out of a barrel, or wherever he's hiding, and either search for his crew, search for Rayleigh, or try to save Ace. It's not an optimal plan, but it's better than trying to pilot a poorly-made raft across the calm belt, or trying to steal Hancock's boat from beneath her and her many Amazonian companions.
@Luffy:
Oh my word, did all those haters suddenly come back licking Oda's balls already? In just 2 chapters? My word^_^
Why does it have to be all-or-nothing?
Have you considered that it's entirely possible for someone who dislikes a chapter or two (or a character; or a plot point; or an arc; etc) to still be a huge fan of the series as a whole?
Ok, think of it this way instead: just because you're allergic to coconut milk doesn't mean that you have to hate all Thai food – even the dishes that don't have coconut milk in them. It doesn't have to be either/or, with food or with manga. It's perfectly possible to love something as a whole -- even if a few of the individual components of that whole occasionaly give you indegestion ...
