Honestly wondering….either of you do reviews for Gamefaqs?
No, I don't do reviews for Gamefaqs. Never even written a game review before.

Dragonball Advance Adventure is probably the best Dragonball game I've ever played.
@Cap'n:
Dragonball Advance Adventure is probably the best Dragonball game I've ever played.
Really? I thouhgt that game was boring as hell. The only DBZ games I have ever liked is the budakai series
Also preaty much any game made by bandai is gonna suck. I have never liked a game that has been made by bandai.
Dragonball Advance Adventure is the best Dragonball game I've ever played.
Quoted For truth.
Rice-a-roni, are you sure this is the one you played?
It's a Japan only game, but worth the import.
I know I'd kill for DBAA.
And speaking of Budokai, I dug out the first game a few days ago and it put me into a depression.
Advance Adventure? Japanese only? But…it came out over here!
Yeah, Advance Adventure also came out in Europe. I have a European ROM.
The VS. mode was a nice touch. Being able to take on Piccolo Daimao as Cyborg Tao Pai Pai was fun.
The Budokai games are a bit on the lame side… the first is notoriously bad, and the second is bearable but has an awful story mode. I was too depressed with the license to try the third.
EDIT:
Marvel vs X-Men - Specials aren't easy to pull off like Marvel vs Street Fighter
& Marvel vs Capcom
So… you're saying that this is the worst game ever because of your inability to pull off moves? Would you rather just mash buttons to win?
And a lot of the other reasons on your list are pretty ridiculous.
The reason why I put Marvel vs SF is not just because the specials are hard to pull it just pales in comparison with the other 2 crossover games um and just because I crticized some games that you might've enjoyed playing doesn't really mean anything and the majority of the games I listed were bad any way you look at it.
@Sandai:
I guess you're right about KOF 2002 but anybody complaining about KOF Fighters 97 or 98 (the one with Orochi) being the worsest KOF game really needs to shift their opinion to KOF 2002
I didn't think that KoF '97 (the one with Orochi) ever got that much criticism in the first place. I thought it was considered by many to be one of the best in the series already.
Even the reviews on Gamefaqs for '97 are all 9/10 or 10/10….

I think the problem is…that some of the games you posted, while you had some criticisms with them, are not even contenders for a "Worst Game" list....Even if Marvel Vs. SF or KoF 2002 aren't as good as the rest in the series, that doesn't qualify them as "worst games ever", because if you compare them to some of the truly bad fighting games out there, they still beat them.
KoF '98 was my personal favorite. Imo, '02 can't top it, but it's far from bad.

Yeah, '98 is my favorite too (it's also another one of the most highly regarded in the series). My next favorites are '96 and '97.
The one with Orochi was criticized because not to many people like the fact that Orochi didn't following the old tradition of being an insanely cheap end boss til this day I've stil haven't been able to beat Goenitz who in my opinion has to be the most difficult end boss but I;ve played the games from 96 to 2002 think I said this already but ol well.
I really can't think of a bad fighting game because I haven't really branched out into other fighting game series the only ones familiar with me are Tekken,Street Fighter, King Of Fighters, & Budokai.
And not everyone has to pubicly agree with somebody's opinion of what game somebody else thought was bad or pubicly disagree with it either I mean you don't hear me agreeing with the guy who said Final Fantasy X was bad or disagreeing with the guy who said Judge Dreed was bad.

I understand what you are saying…but it just seemed to me, that you put Marvel vs. SF and KoF 2002 on your list because they weren't up to the standards of other games in each series. I mean...you were only comparing them in regards to the other games in each series, not to every other game ever made.
It's not just you though…I also disagree with some of the other games posted in this topic being "worst games ever". But I just felt the need to comment on your list because I'm a big 2D fighting game fan.
As for me...I can't really choose what I think is the "worst game ever", because that's just the way I am. Even with bad games, I usually find myself saying "well, I'm sure the developers tried their best" or "maybe this game just isn't for me". I'm like that with most things though.
Edit: (By the way, I personally think '95 is more difficult than '96...but of course, that's just me)
Edit Again: Oh, I think Way of the Samurai was mentioned early on in this topic...and I just have to say that for me, it would be somewhere in my Top 100 games list....)
I'm also a fan of 2D fighting games so I take offense when people say "2D fighting games are dated" blah blah blah not all people want to play 3-D fighting games all the time it's something like this that made me wanna punch Tommy Tallirico in the face when he reviewed Capcom vs SNK 2 & Ninja Gaiden for the X-Box which got a bad score & a bad rep from him
Three games to add to my list:
DBZ Budokai (GC)
Legacy of Goku (GBA)
Yuyu Hakusho: Spirit Detective (GBA)
One of my friends, who LOVES the Dragon Ball series, thought I was retarded for not liking the first two. The saving grace for YYH was it was short.
Budokai's pretty bad, if they had more moves it might be better.
Most of the games on the Atari 2600.
Quoted For truth.
Rice-a-roni, are you sure this is the one you played?
It's a Japan only game, but worth the import.
Hmmmmmm Really? cause I downloaded this Rom and Im preaty sure that I it was that game cept it was so crappy that I just deleated it after 5 minutes of playing
Fighting for One Piece.
The Yu Yu Hakusho fighting game for the PS2. I was all, "YAY!" but it pretty much sucked. So did the YYH: Spirit Detective game for the GBA.
Evergrace for the PS2 good god that was bad, I never should have trusted a PS2 game for £15 (not long after launch that is)
ULTIMATE BATTLE 22. Wow. I thought Budokai was monkey shit, and Budokai 2 was a dirty diaper, but damn. This one was as bad as Buuyuu Retsuden, but it didn't have the excuse of being 16 bit. I usually laugh at really bad things, but I couldn't even do that.
'Alias' on PS2 that was bad. I played it at the Playstation Experience back in 2003 and I just thought
'My God what a waste of time!'
You had to try and kick these four guys to death who were shooting you with michine guns. :glare:
ET The Extraterrestrial Interplanetary Mission for PSX
@Usopp:
Me: Pikachu! Pick up the onion!
Pikachu: Pi?
Me: Onion!
Pikachu: Piiii! Pikachu! starts dancing
Me: Stop dancing and pick up the damn onion!!!
Pikachu: Pikachu?
((10 minutes later))
Me: PICK UP THE F–KING ONION YOU STUPIDASS RAT!!!!!
That made me laugh so frickin hard, aaaaaah..that made my day, thanks man.
The new 50 Cent is one of the ones that will be up there, yes…up there in your attic along with the rest of all your unwanted yunk!
These can be games that were very easy to finish ,Frustrated you at one or few levels..or so ridiculous that would not play the game
Last battle for the mega drive is one of the worst games I've ever played. There are more but I can't remember, that one just left a scar in my memory it was so damn crap.
I really don't remember that many bad games that I've played. The last one I though was bad was Xenosaga, it bored me to death. I heard before about people complaining about its long FMVs, but that actually didn't bother me. What I hated was that there was no freakin music playing whenever you were walking around. All you heard were your footsteps or the hum of a computer. Plus, none of the scenery really impressed me. So bland backgrounds plus no music completely killed the game for me.
Sphinx and the something something. The graphics were nice and the gameplay was too but there is is one part thats impossible too get by.
I'm with Ral. I got Xenosaga because I heard many good things about it but it seriously bored the heck out of me. It was movie sequence after movie sequence after movie sequence (I hear 2 is almost a movie rather than a video game). I also didn't like the characters, especially the scientist girl. I ended up trading it with a few others to get One Piece: Grand Adventure.
Also, I never played it, but Daikatana is considered one of the biggest flops in the gaming community.
I usually try and forget the bad ones.
Home Alone for Nintendo was atrocious.
SUPERMAN 64
Enough said
Never played them but I've seen the videos. It's terrible!
Zelda-CDi
FINAL FANTASY 7 IS DOG POO! CLOUD IS AN EMO WHICH I HATE AND SEPHIROTH HAS STUPID HAIR TOO, I ONLY LIKE TIFA CUS I CAN SEE HER NAKED EVERN THO SHE'S A MIDGET!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111Twelfty!!!!!!
cough
seriously tho, worst game I played has got to be Rugrats for the playstation, I mean, it can be completed in LESS than an hour.
I have a personal vendetta against Crusin USA.
Worst video game…probably E.T. for the Atari 2600.
Yes, I had this game. Yes, it really sucked.
Dragon Lair for NES. Horrible, horrible game.
Dragon Lair for NES. Horrible, horrible game.
Yet Dragon's Lair for the Commodore 64 was freakin' incredible… a classic in all respects.
Here's a game that's complete & utter shit...
Lol I forgot about ET for the NES. Glad I still only have one NES cartridge. THe original Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt Cartdridge, it ROCKS!!
But yeah top 3 sucky games are the 3 Zelda CD-i and ET.
I've seen video for both. Jumping in holes to collect phones for ET? While avoiding FBI guys?
Oh and BTW there's some sucky games out there. There's this guy, he has videos on youtube, if you haven't heard of the Angry Nintendo Nerd(now VIdeo Game Nerd but old ones have the Nitnendo title) check him out.

Guess what? In Europe, "Xenosaga: Der Wille zur Macht" IS a movie. Instead of translating the game to pal, they just made a five hour long movie by putting all the FMVs one after the other and released it as a set with Xenosaga II, which was playable. I have to agree with the unlikeable characters, but I love Shion, she's the cutest nerd-pixie ever! <3 She also wins extra points for being a female protagonist in an RPG.
I'm goig with Chaos Inferno19 here. SuperMan 64 is worse than even E.T. for the Atari.
Quest 64 (N64)
TMNT 1 (NES) (Only because of the friggin' sewer glitch)
Irritating Stick (PS1)
Figthers Destiny (N64)
Mechwarrior 64 (N64)
California Games (Lynx)
More To Come
I recently picked up Final Fantasy 3.
That game fucking sucks.
The worst game I've ever played is Tom & Jerry for the SNES. The soundtrack consists of THREE HORRIBLY composed "songs," which sound like shit. The level design is atrocious, the only things you can do in the game are jump and throw peas (yes, PEAS). If I ever came across a copy of this game, I would snap it in half and set it on fire and run away from it.

Holy crap, that's hilarious.
I remember a Tom and Jerry MOVIE where the two of them found out they could talk with child voice actors. To top it off, they would sing.
shudders
Home Alone for Genesis was the worst game I remember playing
I took it back to the rental store after 10 minutes of play
Ghostbusters for NES. Never beat it. Never got anywhere in that game.
Worst video game…probably E.T. for the Atari 2600.
Yes, I had this game. Yes, it really sucked.
Only to be followed by the Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man
Lesse, some other crap that I've played…
--Kengo: Master of Bushido(PS2): The controls of this game instantly led to absolute suckiness.
–Resident Evil: Survivor(PS1): A light-gun game WITHOUT light-gun support? AWESOME!
–Dragon Ball Z: Sagas: I regret not going back to Blockbuster to tell them that they accidently gave me this steamy pile of pass-off-as-an-action-adventure-game crap instead of Budokai 3.
–Frogger: I came to the realization back in '97 that I really do not like this arcade "classic" in any way, shape, or form.
–Bad Dudes(NES): "The president has been kidnapped by ninjas! Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the president?"
I might think of some more later…
Back when I was a Mucha Lucha fan, I bought the game for the GBA. The storyline sucked and it was sooo short. A bunch of your foes would be coming at you while you'd have to attack each one about 20 times. There are only three characters available to use (Richochet sp?, Blueno Girl and the Flea). They're pretty slow, too. The bosses were okay. Everything else is just …bleh.
