Well you never know, because of fillers. I'm sure while doing this Thriller Bark arc, they had started on a story for a filler and all that. So we will most likely get another 10 or so filler like Ice Hunter. Then some filler after Duval and some on Shabondy.
So who knows how many episodes it could be until we finally meet Shakky

There's still 30+ episodes left of Thriller Bark in the anime. 27 will air from the next episode to the end of December if there are no breaks. Plus there'll probably be a filler arc after that and then there's the mini arc leading up to Sabaody/Shadondy. We won't we see Shakky til March/April 2009 at the earliest.

Great color schemes for Law and Kidd so far.
I don't know why I didn't bother looking at this thread until today. I assumed it was a different type of colors prediction (i.e. predict the theme and outfits for the next colorspread).

This is my take on Law. I used OpenCanvas for the first time. Tell me if you like. I chose some pretty weird colors, but I think it turned out good.

Not for sure if I agree with the blue. But I do agree with the orange for Law.

I'll make a quick mock tomorrow, however I imagined Law with more dull colours but still go on that ice theme his crew seems to have. Grey trousers, brown hat with green spots, blue hair and an 'ice' sort of colour for the top of his shirt. I'd leave the tattos and smiley logo black.

Yup that's the one. I do apologise for dragging this thread off-topic but it is a very good fit as to where the inspiration came from. he's very laid back and is the only person i've seen with such a hat in years. Anyway, i thought it might help with some of the predictions, as most of the work seems to be going into Law at the moment.

ha I guess I could totally see similarities from that show. I watched a couple episodes. Ha, i would laugh my ass off if that is where Oda got his inspiration. Or character inspiration and not just outfit.
If it is true that he is basing it off that guy, I like Law a little bit less. Lets hope it is just the oufit. Oh well if not, he did have some good advice about picking up girls.

Well here is my stab at the colorings. If you are in the One Piece Livejournal community, you may have already seen an earlier version of this. The only changes I have made since then were changing Luffy's vest to blue to reflect his current color scheme and Kidd's skin to a more human color. I chose to keep Law's colors as I originally chose since this is predictions, not definite colors and I like mine.
Some of the reasoning behind the coloring.
Law: He seems like he would be wearing bright and colorful clothing. His hat screamed of leopard printing but then again, his pants also kind of hinted at it. I decided to do his hat a light orange and through the suggestion of a friend, his pants a bright burgundy. I chose his tattoo to be a cyan since it seemed to really stand out and his shirt green because, well, I just felt like it.
Kidd: What can I say, he looked just like a Majin from Disgaea. I used this idea to help color him as the uber majin you can make. I chose to make his pants greenish since I didn't want him to be basically all one color. Originally he had a bluish skin color but after a few complaints about him being actually human I changed him to a normal skin color.[hide]

No, you're not wrong. A recent cover of Weekly Shounen Jump showed that Luffy is wearing a blue vest.
Actually the new official color is an orange vest with red shorts. That's what has been used for the five latest tankouban covers.

Yeah, but the Jump covers are usually just Oda having fun. If we're gonna go by the Jump covers then Luffy changes his colors quite often, so I think that the tankoubans are official and Luffy's "official" color is red, so I'm guedding Oda will be keeping part of his outfit red.

This only counts for random Jump Covers. Arc specific covers always contain the current arc style. That orange vest and red shorts you keep in high spirits also appeared first on a Jump Cover. Actually the cover of volume 46 is copy of said Jump cover.
And this cover on the previous page is an arc specific Jump cover because as you can see it shows the characters in their Sabaody attire PLUS it features the Sabaody bubbles. So yep, it's pretty much anything but random. ;)

I am aware of the volume 46 cover, all they did was add Brook to it. And that was the start of the red and orange clothes.

As Alina James said, you are stubborn on that part. Even if we wouldn't have seen this cover then we could still eliminate the red-orange combination because that was the Thriller Bark attire. And Thriller Bark is over already. Everybody changed their outfit already. Luffy shouldn't be any difference.
