I believe the North Blue comments are also a bit of a misleading point. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't both North Blue and East Blue in the same top half of the globe? Of course this sounds a bit odd because then why'd they name it North Blue and not just call both halves found on opposite sides of the Red Line North Blue, right? At least that's the way I remember all the reference images presented. On top of this, we make the assumption that Law assembled his entire crew of Northerners. Who's to say that he didn't pick up this particular person while traveling elsewhere?

I don't think Law used his powers to make the bear. That would kill the originality of the idea. For all we know the bear could be just intelligent like those rabbits on Drum Kingdom.

I think oda just got yoriyamitas and wanted to draw a character that was inexplicably an animal. I have no evidence so I can't say that the people making him a brown bear are wrond, but I just get a polar bear vibe. By the way, brown bears are up north too.

You know, looking at Kidd's entire crew who is totally bizarre I wouldn't be surprised for the captain to have a shrill hair color. Normally I'd say something like violet, pink or green but that hairstyle screams "flames" to me so an orange-yellow combo is what I have in mind. =/

No, you're not wrong. A recent cover of Weekly Shounen Jump showed that Luffy is wearing a blue vest.

Nope, you've got Luffy's colors correct. I guess the reason why the others aren't using it yet is a) because they use what they like best or b) they haven't seen the official color scheme from the last Jump cover.

Sorry for going off topic, but how much longer until the anime shows the supernovas? I'm eager to see what the colorschemes are. I don't really think volume 51 is going to show any of the supernovas on the front, due to the fact that they appear near the end of the volume, and don't really do anything. We'll probably see Law and Kid on 52…
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Thriller Bark should be ending like what...? November/Early December? So that means, with the Duval arc we should probably be seeing the Supernova's at the beginning of Spring next year... huh... hopefully we can see a real colorscheme soon...
Also, in my view I always pictured Kid with neon blonde hair and dark gloomy clothing, since he's supposed to be like a "punk." No idea for Law though, since I picture him black and white.

Well you never know, because of fillers. I'm sure while doing this Thriller Bark arc, they had started on a story for a filler and all that. So we will most likely get another 10 or so filler like Ice Hunter. Then some filler after Duval and some on Shabondy.
So who knows how many episodes it could be until we finally meet Shakky

There are 2 days of "rest" prior to leaving Thriller Bark.
There's about a week (give or take a few days) after leaving before they reach the Red Line.
Plenty of filler time. Haha.

yea I use Photoshop. At the beginning you should use for every piece like hair or skin an new layer ,don't forget to change the mode to multiply(Google it if you don't know what this means) and try to color the white parts with an small brush.

edit: I thought Law's Bear-nakama was a Polar Bear (I thought it was a given). I mean, isn't his whole crew following a snow-day theme? They all have those beanies/caps/hats for cold weather and the Bear even has the soft plushy stuff on the crossguard of his sword. Buuuuut. Who knows =)

that was only one pic tho, get over it. For the most part its on topic, theres no where saying we cant predict the colors by coloring them. To me thats better than us sitting in here going "I think Law's colors is green, and purple" then moving on.
Anyways like i said, your sorta missing the point. Focusing on a specific picture, because on this page alone is at least 2 law colorings

It's the derailing of this thread into a general colouring thread that upsets her. It's more then just that picture of Paulie.(It seems you have forgotten what the very first post in this thread is: Al!naJames posts a coloured version of Shakky.)

Well I was the one who created the thread in the first place and I kinda feel responsible for what
s going on here thats why I want everything to be on topic.
It`s not the first case when the ordinary colouratin was posted here.
As for Law - I posted my version of his colours pages ago and I still find it most suiting.And thanks Gorlom.
And yeah, this is why this thread is situated in the manga sub-forum and not in the creative one.
