true. its hard to spell death on 4 fingers. which is probably why the mistake of drawing 5 (excluding the thumb) was made. But we never see the letters anywhere else so the wikia point is moot.
I can see the line to, you just have to have the angle of the fingers in a particular zone and look at it from a particular angle. It makes sense too - the 'a' doesn't make a particular difference when you say it aloud to yourself.
Could you guys take a picture of your hands at that angle and post it so I could see what you are talking about?
This Kidd and Kuma conflict is in many ways the same as the Whitebeard shichibukai conflict. It's a battle between two strong forces, and a loss at this point would ruin the name and reputation of that "brand."
Kidd is among the supernovas, the rookies. He's the man with the highest bounty which might suggest he's the strongest. This chapter established that the supernovas have powerful crews, and are in many ways equal to the SHs. Yet, a loss here would be devastating to not only the reputation kid has establish but to all the rookies. If he loses, the supernovas go from being the powerful pirates they've been suggested to be in past chapters to nothing more then shameful jobbers. Yet, Kid beating a shichibukai would prove that the supernovas are pirates on par and maybe more with Strawhat's level. Plus, Kidd might have an ability advantage!
Yet, we have Kuma. A powerful shichibukai. On one hand, having him lose doesn't necessarily disgrace the shichibukai since, I personally don't believe he's the strongest one (though he is strong). Yet, if Kuma loses here it's pretty much over for him–he loses the level of invincibility that comes with being an undefeated villain. Yet, it'd be weird to see a shichibukai lose in such a fashion--having randomly appeared on this island. More or less though, the same things said about Kidd apply to Kuma.
I'm interested in seeing how Oda handles this. It'll be a preview of whether of not he'll destroy one reputation to raise another or end a conflict while holding everyone's dignity in tact.

About Kidd, we know that he has the ability to attract and repel metal, but can he change the shape of metal? If he could, then Kuma's in trouble. If he can't Kuma's ok, since he's solidly built. Also, we don't know if Kuma is vulnerable to magnetism, all we know is that he's way harder than steel.
Again, about Kidd, all we saw was simple metal attraction and repulsion. That is a basic ability. More advanced would be metal bending. Even more advanced would be overcoming magnetic resistance in non-magnetic metals, and then even more so with non-magnetic materials in general. If Kidd can bend metal, his bounty would be justified in my opinion. If he can move nonmagnetic things with magnetism, he'd be on par with a Yonkou, seriously. If he can't bend metal, he doesn't deserve that bounty.
Thinking about it, why is Moria so powerful, but someone like Mr. 5 is not? That's because Mr. 5 was satisfied with the basic ability to make things explode, while Moria took simple shadow stealing and made it into zombie making, shadow manipulation, strength enhancement, zombie manipulation, shape shifting and shadow switching. Crocodile said that DF powers can develop and grow, although he himself couldn't go much further than manual water absorption, disassociation, and forming sand weapons. Luffy amazed us by turning mere stretching (and electrical immunity) to power amplification, Gear 2, and Gear 3rd.

Unless Kuma came back for a rematch with the strawhats, since last time he did state that strawhats arnt worthy to fight him now because they just beat Moria and were exhausted. Lets see what Oda plans for tomorrow! (Or the day after 2moro for us :()

Well I think by the time we make it into the New World, The Eleven Supernovas will be reduced down to something like 5, or 4. I don't expect all of them to make to the New World.
I ment to say the 3 main ones - Luffy, Kidd and Law. They probably are the strongest and will have the opportunity to oppose Kuma. Remember how all the other supernovas just ran when Luffy created choas in the trade centre. I doubt all the other super novas will be a treat to luffy and/or Kuma.

Yeah, fruits aren't always what they appear to be. Remember when we thought Robin's fruit was telekinesis? And who would've guessed Kuma's fruit would be air pockets (pads)? I mean, when you think about it, an air pocket fruit is extremely useful, but extremely bizarre at the same time.
As opposed to magnetism, Kidd's fruit could be a bonding fruit, where he can bond things to himself or repel them from himself.
Kid might have some type of Junk DF.

I have never said Shacky said that Kuma is 100 times stronger then the rookies. But I rate Kuma very high because he is the secret weapon of the world government and he declares at as easy to erase the Mugiwara in Thriller Bark. Further Senghok said it should be no problem for Kuma to take Luffys head with his abilities. I think that is enough evidence to say that Kuma is very strong and maybe so strong how Silvers, at least not far away.

50 times were OK, too. But the most people ignore this declaration and think Ruffy have a change against one admiral. For me, Admirals aren’t far away from the top or maybe there are the top in strength of the marine. So far I think they are far away from the rookies, at this point in time.
I think Oda just likes the number 100.
1.) In his series of one-shots (Wanted!), at the beginning of the first story, Gill Bastar says to 2 people that were trying to kill him that it was 100 years too early for them to kill him.
2.) At the end, Gill Bastar says that he would meet the ghost in the next world in 100 years.
3.) WB told Shanks that it was 100 years too early for Shanks to tell him (WB) what to do.
4.) And I believe Sanji told Zoro the same thing at one point in the manga (BW saga?).
5.) And now of course with Shakky's comment about Rayleigh being 100 times stronger than Luffy.
