So uh….are we really getting two years of flashbacks?
Bleach Discussion Part 2
-
-
Wouldn't really surprise me….
we will probably get atleast 3 weeks worth of "swirvling dust". -
hey
it stopped being funny awhile ago :getlost:
You guys expect too much out of Bleach, just go with the flow
-
it stopped being funny awhile ago
when was it funny? I must have missed that part…
-
Its not funny cause its true. Just watch, the series is going to flashforward back to present time and we're going to have a stare-off.
-
I wanna see how the anime goes back to where they were after the grimjaw fight.
If Ichigo and co gonna just be like, you know what I really liked that scenery we were looking at Inoa, lets go back and be all romantic. She agrees caue she loves him. And then when they get back Grimmjaw is like ha I've been waiting, I'm not dead yet.
Or how exactly are the explaining the fillers at the moment right now. I haven't watched them, but scanned em quick and saw Ichigo and everyone in like normal clothes in the new world and stuff.
-

Actually if they went back, the problem isn't Grimmjaw anymore. Its Nnoitra. (he pops up the moment Grimmjaw is defeated) Just show that and Szayel getting erotic with his sword and we'll be back where we were.
-
Yea but doesn't Grimmjow pop up to attack again but then Noitra strike him down.
Plus hoping other question gets answered, Not at home so can't watch the bleach eps. How did the anime make Ichigo and Co. be back in real world, or when you see them are they just there.
-
No explanation's been given yet as to the placement of the current filler story.
That said, it's actually rather good…
...which is annoying since now I have to actually keep up with the anime to find out what happens next, as opposed to just popping in here and there for the parts I know are going to be cool like I had been doing.
-
But one thing I noticed in this chapter that is super underused in Bleach. The 81 62 ect. moves or whatever they have. Like you see it once early. Then in training flashback shows you fire one. All they ever do is fight with swords and bankai, why not ever use those moves.
This is why even though I consider Byakuya one of the worst characters in Bleach when he fights it's at least a little bit entertaining to see. Byakuya actually uses some kido along with his bankai and swordsmanship so there's a little chance we'll see a new spell whenever he fights.
I'm hoping Unohana fights with a lot of kido since that stingray of hers doesn't look like it'll do much in terms of damage, but I guess that depends on what her bankai will be. Plus it was mentioned that Kubo had planned on her fight specially so I hope it doesn't disappoint.
-
Yeah, I know this is kinda going off topic track…but...I know whats gonna happen when they fight Aizen.
Ichigo: I finally did it!
Aizen: HAHA! That was an illusion!Sarcasm ftw.
-
lets just hope his illusion flies off as a bunch of crows
-
Bleach promotes Naruto by having their fillians as…NINJAS.
T.T
-
Uh, I wasn't being sarcastic. Are we really gonna have 2 years of flashbacks? Cause that's about how long 100 chapters is…
-
I wasn't being sarcastic
Neither was I…
I honestly don't know (don't think anyone does), but it would not surprise me. -
I really think we are gonna have 2 years of flashbacks, because, wouldn't he start at a lower number, ex. -15 and down, instead of -100, I think he's the 1st guy to do this, correct me if I'm wrong, anyway, cool chapter, Aizen is annoying, how could he have been that strong all the back then???, waiting to see what's gonna happen with Ichigo and co., but it looks like we're gonna see no time soon….
-
I dont care, if it keeps being this good
-
Well, we continue the snail's pace this chapter, but anything with Urahara in it for me is <3.
We do get the origin of the Hougyouku though. My question is: If Urahara did all this to save them, why does HE get banished? I'm sure we'll have the big misunderstanding next week or the week after.
Another question is: Where do the Vaizard stand now? They were turned against their wills by Aizen and co., and saved by Urahara, but they don't seem to be on the Shinigami's side. Rather they seem to have their own agenda. So what's the deal?
-
Maybe I'm just the only one, but I find the Kidou attacks in Bleach boring, namely because they all look just like just about every other attack in Bleach - a big blast of Reiatsu.
-
What saddens me about this chapter is that it's with absolutely no new developments. Like I've said before, the only new development we've had in the last 100 chapters is the Royal Guard. This series is ending soon.
-
Probably the only good thing about this chapter was Tessai and the Hougyoku finally appearing. This means that either this is the end of the flashbacks…or we only have one more where Urahara, Tessai and Yoruichi leave and the Vaizard are banished.
-
I have no idea whats gonna happen. I mean it seems like it shoudl be almost done. But for all we know we are gonna have a big arc. And find out more about Ichigo's dad. and the arrow dudes dad.
I mean Aizen and co look really young so plenty of time dif. Also why the hell would he start -108 and not like said early -15 or wahtever. I would be really pissed if that long flashback. All mainly because we all know how its gonna end. i would be bored and probably not read it until it is back to present.
I already find this flashback boring.
-
If I were to hypothesize, I would say the reason Urahara was banished is probably because the Vaizards were sentenced to an execution due to their hollowfication by our very own geriatric old timer. Urahara, who was always a bit of a softie, defied the authority's orders and helped the Vaizards escape. Thus resulting in his own banishment.
Just a theory I came up with. Take it with a pinch of salt.
-

I hope not. I mean if so, then Kubo could also have started at -110. If somebody can stretch things, it's him.^^
-
I personally love the flashbacks so I'm okay with another 90 something chapters. I think what I like most about them is that so far theres been less one on one fights which I'm really starting to dislike in Bleach.
-
I also had that grim feeling that the negative stuff really do mean that much chapters left…but it does not seem possible
Anyway, the trial should be happening next week
-
It might be possible that there will be a chunk of chapters of the flashbacks, goes back to the present, then back to flashbacks, repeat.
-
The original excuse that Kubo had when he did the flashback was that he just was too mentally exhausted with how the series was getting. And since he didn't want to have a nervous breakdown (see Zombie Powder) and Jump didn't want to have two absent mangaka, that lead to the current Pendulum arc. The question now is…will he be steady enough to proceed with what could be Bleach's final arc...or will we end up with more (good) flashbacks later.
-
I take it the Hogyoku will only partially cure them of their condition, as we've learned they need to first conquer their inner hollow to fully become a vizard.
In the meantime, their hollow personas will probably be only submerged.

Where's your source on the reason for the flashback?
-
Where's your source on the reason for the flashback?
There had been word on a couple boards that Kubo was pretty much exhausted towards the end of the HM fights and that he did the flashback as a means to regain energy.
-
Well maybe if he had actually put more plot into Hueco Mundo , and drawn less fights…........ I personally think he would not be in his current situation.
-
So has Urahara defeated Aizen yet?
-
Wow… I felt just like Kubo even when reading through HM(Las Noches). I don't blame him.
-
I wonder if Kubo was being bullied by his editors into dragging out HM as long as it was.
-

…And where are their sources? o.o
-
I want to know the sources too.
-
I think bleach is ruined after the arrival in HM it ruined itself.
-
as long as Kubo got himself together and ready for this new (continuing) arc stuff and its good, im ok with the flashback ending

I don't know if the spoiler is true or not. But I found it on another message board that I go to.
>! Urahara performs a ritual with Hogyoku to stop the hollow growth of the Shinigami.
He says it will not reverse the effects but they will stop advancing, and they need to tame the hollow themself.
Tessai asks how Urahara knows all of this, he replies that he has many secrets which should not be known.
Several Shinigami enter the building and confront Urahara and Tessai healing the future Vizard, they are lead by a masked man, they are Squad 0.
Masked man says they are under arrest for crimes against Soul Society and that the witnesses were Aizen, Kaname and Gin.
Urahara asks for masked man's name - he removes his mask and says "Shiba Isshin", revealing "Kurosaki" Isshin.
Next time - Sentence of Urahara and the Vizard, final chapter of Turn Back The Pendulum! -
Was wondering when he'd show up in this flashback. About damn time.
! But where's this Hikifune that was Squad 12's former leader?

! Shiba Isshin, so Ichigo is related to Ganju in the end.^^
-
! Damn, so like… Ganju is Ichigo's uncle...? o_O;;
! The logistics of this are slightly mind-boggling, although now it makes sense considering all the, 'Well, he does look similiar to...' stuff, referring to Ichigo looking/acting like Kaien. -
I'd like to know why for a hundred years the exiles couldn't make SS become aware of the Antichrist in their midst.
I hope the explanation's not gonna be too forced (still expecting it to be a little bit forced). -
What I wonder is that Soul Society didn't bother to approach the Vizard after they learned that Aizen was the source of everything that went wrong.
-
Who's to say they didn't? We may get a mini-flashback showing Yamamoto or one of the other captains approaching Shinji and co. for their cooperation.
-
Wasn't it said, when Isshin and Urahara met, that nobody knew where the Vaizards were?
-

That's true, but I'm sure that the Vizard would find out if Soul Society was searching them for conversation.
-
Well it isn't completely confirmed but it sounds like Bleach is going back to modern time in the next chapter. The bad news means…we're back to Ichigo and his band of nuts. But the good news...the preview sounds like they're doing "The Battle of Karakura" first, which means we may see the other squads fighting Aizen & the remaining Espada before we get to Ichigo/Ulquiorra.
