Well, considering the bazooka isn't supposed to send the present selves into the future, I wouldn't think that the future selves are in the present. Besides, even if they were, Reborn and Tsuna still wouldn't be there since they "died" in the alt. future.

Did reborns death in the future get confirmed? what chapter?
I'm pretty sure the bazooka is supposed to "exchange present and future selves" we just never followed baby ipen and lambo to the future before. If they arent sent to the future what heppens with the present versions? do they stop existing for 10 minutes?
-
Reborn and Tsuna's death was confirmed by Futa when he said they're dead. (it was the chapter when Futa and Bianchi arrived…156?)
I think their future selves are switched but since Reborn and Tsuna are dead, they didn't. (the chapter extra in the tankoban showed that Tsuna didn't get switched) Seeing how weirder things have happened (malfunction chapter) it wouldn't be that strange if dead bodies couldn't get switched.
I'm just wondering. If future Gokudera,Yamamoto and the rest of the future selves are in the past they should just kill the past Irie and everything will be fixed… right?
Maybe that would kind of ruin the timeline and then their present selves would be stuck in the future…? And if they do kill Irie, it would make another alternate universe...thing... (gah...time travel @_@)
Oh, and chapter 176 is out. (awfully fast…)
-

considering Tsunas body disappeared what happened to it?
-
176 was kind of a downer. We have to waste time "seeing their new growth" against some douche opponent.
Might as well call him Dordonii.

…it disappeared...?

Hey, Dordonii was cooler. D: (more like those guys Chad and Ishida took down in a second)

Except Dordonii is awesome.
EDIT: Beat.

Well, yeah, except Dordonii is awesome. He still wasted time. Unlike Chirchiu and Gamenbien who actually showed Ishida and Chad's improvements.

Present time Tsuna took the place of future dead body Tsuna in the coffin.
At least I'm assumeing that since he wasn't lying ontop of his dead self from what I could see…
-
I'm assuming dead bodies just plain aren't transported across time. Reborn's body didn't appear, and neither did Tsuna's. Maybe something to do with needing a soul.
-

Well my theory on that is that none of the future selves of the people that got hit showed up… because the bazooka was malfunctioning and all that..
Infact Kyoko even mentiones that Gokudera is missing along Tsuna and Reborn, even though his future self was alive. (chap 143 page2)
-
Gokudera's smart enough to hide in the past–plus Kyoko's kinda oblivious, she wouldn't realize that future-Gokudera is, you know, Gokudera. If she saw him, she'd probably notice that they look very similar, but the concept of time-travel wouldn't enter her mind at that point (she's too normal; like Yamamoto, she has to really experience the abnormal to believe in them).
-
… Why should he hide? Wouldn't he be the most interested in killing the guy he told Tsuna to kill just before he...
Wait, were you serious or just pulling my leg?
-
Hiding as in not just sitting around on his ass in one place, but as in "not being seen." Mafia and stuff is SERIOUS BUSINESS to Gokudera, not to mention the fact that he's much more cautious and paranoid than most of the others. It's probably not that big of a deal if he's seen by normal people, but knowing him he's looking out for possible enemies.
I guess if he kills Sho now, the present-time gang will be stuck in the future? lol time travel
Right now it looks like he's busy meeting up with the future-versions currently in the present (seems logical) and/or trying to switch the rest of the family. Hibari is already notoriously hard to catch off-guard, and I'm assuming that future-Gokudera/Yamamoto know that future-Ryohei had a mission in Italy and are waiting a bit to be safe.
-
More like, future-Hibari is needed right where he is, and future-Gokudera knew that, I'd think. I don't think it's wise to entrust the mission to all of the younger guardians.
-
I don't think future-Gokudera knows about the Millefiore raid; future-Ryohei was specifically assigned to Italy to get orders from the Vongola/alliance higher-ups. And I'm assuming Reborn came up with the idea that future-Hibari would train Tsuna. Plus, future-Hibari's notorious for coming and going as he pleases; there was no guarantee that he'd be with the gang.
I think all future-Gokudera knows right now is that the Vongola rings have to get to the future. (I…sort of doubt that present-Hibari carries it around with him, so maybe that's why his arrival's delayed?)
-
Yeah, when he "beat" Gola Mosca in the ring battle, didn't he just give the cloud ring back to that Cervello girl? But he must have gotten it back somehow, since he seems to understand the Mafia and his place in it in the future.
And Ryohei…well, maybe he FORGOT IT TO THE EXTREME again.
-
You know what would have been easier? Just gather all the rings give them to one guy and switch him. That way they would have strong fighters AND the vongola rings… Instead of a bunch of near clueless kids.
And why was Kyoko and Haru switched? I seriously don't think there is a plan behind all of this. -
Well, that wouldn't have made for a very good story, now would it? And besides, Tsuna knew he was gonna die, so this way his past self could do it. It's not like anyone else could use the Vongola Sky Ring.
And with the Kyoko/Haru thing, that's why I'm thinking that maybe if Tsuna gets really close to them, their past self will come.
-
I have no clue what you said in your last two posts ID, sorry….
-
Reborn! Vol. 6 is out. Anyone find it rather dumb how they translated the Carcassa family as "Karkassa" even though it's clearly written with C's on Skull's helmet (and his men's helmets all say CC)?
And Sorry Shot sounds retarded.
Regarding the current chapter:
Looks like this fight is going to be over before it really starts. This guy reminds me of a "tough-guy" Lambo, really.
Think Gyoza-sensei will make an appearance in this arc? If so, that'll be all the Arcobaleno.
On a side note: How old is Bianchi? She looks about 16-18… I always pictured her being 18 in the present.
-
The Desolation Bullet is called the "Sorry Shot"? Really? Wow.
And this guy is just a worse version of Lambo. Lambo finishes things quickly and tastefully.
I'd also like to point out that we haven't seen anyone use a Sun Ring yet.
-
Bianchi is 17 (gah Shamal why you do this).
The English volumes have always been really loose with translating. Like, Hibari never says his catchphrase ): And it's inconsistent too, in one chapter Tsuna will call Yamamoto and Gokudera by their last names, and then in another it's "Takeshi" and "Hayato" (…Gokudera would explode if that were to happen).
-
Think Gyoza-sensei will make an appearance in this arc? If so, that'll be all the Arcobaleno.
I doubt it because he's dead. (plus Verde, hasn't shown his face…wait most of them haven't :/)
I'd also like to point out that we haven't seen anyone use a Sun Ring yet.
I'm sure Ryohei will get to it soon…? (if he gets switched before the chance....grrr) But yeah, I'm really curious on how it works; it really looks like just like a beam of light or something.
You know what would have been easier? Just gather all the rings give them to one guy and switch him. That way they would have strong fighters AND the vongola rings… Instead of a bunch of near clueless kids.
And why was Kyoko and Haru switched? I seriously don't think there is a plan behind all of this. That would depend on who did the switching. And I don't really think anyone knows about the Ten-Year Bazooka well enough, so anyone would be confused. (even the Millefiore tops were having a hard time believing it) Plus they just beat the Varia, the strongest assassination squad, so they're pretty strong. Kyoko and Haru were switched…maybe for moral support? (Reborn does know best) Or it could have been an accident. Again, it depends on who did it.
-
Ghoti.. are you thinkning it's by intent or accident? if intended is it someone hostile or friendly to Vongola?
Personally i think its all by accident. If its by intent the only one I could imagine it could be would be someone I don't even think exists in the present time. (future Gokudera)
And I still don't understand who Gokuderas is supposed to be hiding from.. Roastbeef? What enemies? Shouldn't he know full well about any events and possible enemies at that period in time? And why shouldn't he be able to reveal himself to friends? -
And I still don't understand who Gokuderas is supposed to be hiding from.. Roastbeef? What enemies?
Exactly. It could be perfectly okay to go out in plain sight, but it also could be incredibly dangerous. I think for Gokudera, it's definitely better safe than sorry. Or he could just be running around like an idiot, who knows.
Shouldn't he know full well about any events and possible enemies at that period in time? And why shouldn't he be able to reveal himself to friends?
There are a lot of unknowns about the Millefiore, and I'm sure future-Gokudera is aware of that. For all he knows, they could have agents watching out for him (and the other family members) even in the present. Byakuran was expecting the present-versions to be transported into the future, so it's not impossible, I guess).
And "[knowing] full well about any events"–remember that future-Lambo once talked to Tsuna about not knowing about the Ring battles. It could be the same way (lol parallel universes). Something really big could happen, and I think he wants to avoid that until everyone's back and relatively safe in their normal time periods. Of course, hiding could also trigger a big event THAT'S TIME TRAVEL FOR YA
As for communicating with allies in the present, I think future-Gokudera would at least talk to like, Shamal. (future-Yamamoto stalks his dad orz) But they wouldn't reveal themselves, to like, Kyoko, you know?
-
Not even to make her stop worrying about the people that for no apearant reason is missing and possibly prevent her from getting into more danger by switching with her future self?
(I think the reason Lambo doesn't remember the ringbattles is because he is a dumbass as a kid.)
-
Seems like they're releasing a Reborn game for the Wii on the 10th. Looks…....pretty bad.
-
Ghoti.. are you thinkning it's by intent or accident? if intended is it someone hostile or friendly to Vongola?
I'm guessing it was intended, but I'm not sure by who and I won't make a decisive theory. I'm just going to see how it plays out.

I think some people would freak out seeing their friend ten years later next time them. But then again, Kyoko isn't that kind of person… But, yeah, I would think Future Gokudera would be hiding, and comforting Kyoko of all people would be the least of his worries. Basically, I doubt he cares. (and even Lambo's boss hasn't mentioned anything about the ring battles, so I'm going for parallel universe.)
Seems like they're releasing a Reborn game for the Wii on the 10th. Looks…....pretty bad.
It's the same as the one they released for PS2 with more characters, I think. From what I've heard, it's…pretty bad. (and there are clips of it on youtube)

Gokudera hates womenBetter than putting innocent people in danger from imagined enemies, I dunno.During the Ring battles, Lambo became an official member of the Vongola family. For the regular future-Lambo who comes around for the gags, he's still in the Bovino family (gets awards for best latrine orderly, etc.). Like ghoti said, his boss didn't mention the battles either.

Can't be as bad as the one that's just all dialogue, no action. It's like a freaking dating sim. And also lol Mukuro and gang just…hang out in the forest, waiting to rape Tsuna or something.
Oh and since this seems to be the trend:

Yes, thank you anime staff. As if Xanxus wasn't already lame enough. It's even better animated: (around the 4:20 mark)

I was just reading over that fight too. Whatever happened to that Dying Will lasting 5 min.? They fought for 30 min without a break or gunfire from Reborn. Did the Rebuke Bullet do something to the time limit?

Yeah, the Rebuke bullet lasts a lot longer. Even in Mukuro's fight, that wasn't 5 minutes. I'm pretty sure there isn't a limit.
-
Huh, I may have missed this…or forgot it...but how does Tsuna go into Hyper mode without Reborn there during the raid and training etc? Or does he shoot himself...? >_>
-
@Ennead09:

The pills do it.
-
Don't the pills make him weaker than if he gets shot, though? So shouldn't he just carry a gun around and shoot himself in the head so he can have maximum power when he gets in fights?
And seeing as the pills were a one-time gift, shouldn't he be running out of them? I mean, it's not like he's never wasted them, taking them for no reason sometimes.
-
Didn't he learn to change by will dureing that trial in which he saw the previous vongola bosses or something?
I destinctly remember his flame going out there and then relighting without takeing any pill or being shot.
-

I doubt Tsuna would want to shot himself, even if it makes him stronger. The dying will pills are only a little weaker anyways. Plus, I think it would take more time to shoot yourself then swallow a pill. (can't only Reborn shoot them anyways…? or am i thinking anime...)
We never saw how many pills were in there, but it looks like there's a lot. During training, I'm sure Reborn shot him most of the time, and maybe Reborn can make more or they had them in the hideout...? (Iemitsu was the one who made them so...)
-

I've only ever seen him take them ten or so times, and if you buy pills at a store, those things usually come in doses of a couple hundred so…
Yeah, they're weaker, but seeing as how Reborn can't be around, and I can think of only one or two people that would willingly point a gun at their forehead and fire away. If I don't have the psychological capacity for that, Tsuna definitely doesn't. Besides, he might miss, lol.
-
Was it the pills or the bullets that was made inside leon one at a time?
-
Speaking of Leon, I wonder what happened to him. Was it stated somewhere that the creatures hanging around the Arcaboleno would die if their owners passed away?
-
He was shown recently when Reborn geve them suits made by leon to use for the raid.
-
O_o So the pills are also for Hyper? I thought they were only for regular Dying Will…or something...w/e
Gokudera should have red hair. =_=
-

Yeah. I just forgot all that crap of the Bazooka switching.
-
@Ennead09:
Gokudera should have red hair. =_=
I think Orange would be better.
BTW do you guys think the latest chapter is similiar to Kokuyou arc(Invasion to the enemy's hideout)?
-
I've only ever seen him take them ten or so times, and if you buy pills at a store, those things usually come in doses of a couple hundred so…
I don't think you can just buy Hyper Dying Will pills at your local pharmacy. And Tsuna hasn't had a chance to get anymore pills, since he got sent to the future the same chapter that he got the small bottle of pills from Basil.
