i'm not sure how to say this but omae no kaasan is correct. nami in the top part, chapter 364, is talking about the marine headquarters. the bottom picture from chapter 96 is a picture of the marine headquarters… it's not on enies lobby. nami is explaining that there are only two places to go from enies lobby. perhaps you'll understand a little better when the official translation comes out... until then, the japanese speaking people on the board are your best sources of information...

I checked Vol. 25 and Falmingo and Bear are announced as having come FROM Marine HQ. Marine HQ is indeed not on MJ. However, Eneas Lobby has never once been called home of the Marine HQ. Nami's speech does not indicate as such either. Eneas Lobby has always been referred to as a trial island home to judges, never to the Marines.

I'm looking at 96 Gunther. In no place whatsoever does it indicate that Eneas Lobby and the Kaigun Honbu are the same place. That image is NOT necessarily of Eneas Lobby and if it were, I think, no I KNOW, the island would be famous for the HQ, not some lame judges.

…....Yes.......we know......last night in my stupor of excitedness and weekly shining moment of stupidity I neglected to remember in Vol. 25 where the two Shichibukai are announced as having come from the Marine HQ.
But that doesn't change this. In no place, whatsoever, are the Marine HQ and Eneas Lobby mentioned as being in the same place. Nami has said countless times now, Eneas Lobby is where trials are carried out and it is the home of judges. Never once has anyone, anwhere, in all of OP, ever even hinted that the Marine HQ and Eneas Lobby are one in the same.

Hey Gunther,
I think the idea is that you have one of two options to go: Impel Down or the Marine Headquarters. That's all. Their actual physical locations are kind of irrelevant. The panel image is confusing but the text kinda clears it up. It would be like, if you walk into a Burger King, you can either get fries or onion rings. Same idea (I'm eating Burger King right now for lunch). :lol:

Oh No, Water 7 was near the Red Line? That is where the Marine Headqurters is, so theofore they go to Aeneas Lobby, then to Impal Down then to Marejoise, that'll suck big time because the Straw-Hats will be in the second part of the Grand Line after that and I think the Straw-Hats should stay in the frist part of the Grand Line.
Marine HQ is near halfway. But as I recall, nowhere does it specifically say Red Line is exactly halfway to Raftel. It may cut Grand Line in half but we still have no indicidation of exactly where it lies along the route. That vagueness is there for a reason so Oda can shape it as he shapes the story.
One thing is very clear though, from this point things are going to be quite dire and frantic for the crew, and I don't just mean this arc. Like the funadaiku said, they're taking on the government here and run the risk of evening barging through Marine HQ at some point. However, unless Oda breaks manga tradition, I think they'll be visiting W7 again. They're going to have to close the story with everyone together (Ice, Franky, Cocoro etc.) in some fashion and W7 seems a good place for such a thing. That, of course, may not be the case if Ice either shows up at Eneas late or comes with them. This arc is seriously getting complicated and although I am LOVING it, I think it is going to turn off a lot of casual Japanese fans.

so, if they decide to attack marine HQ or eneas lobby or anything the goverment owns, that would somehow increase their bounties? If Pauley an Franky both fight against the goverment and get a bounty, then they probably won't be able to return to W7, would they? If that's so, they both have a good chance to join the straw hats!
But I think only Pauley will join, Franky still has his Franky family

Nice colorspread, and yea, Zoro never had leg hair. I think Sanji's the only one with hairy legs (and probably Chopper, but let's not go there) Nami and Robin probably shave theirs and Ussop and Luffy err…did not reach that stage yet? :unsure: I don't think Zoro would wax his legs, I mean he doesn't look like he cares much about his looks. Maybe he's just a late bloomer in that department.
Oh well, enough about Zoro's legs, as much as I love them and Zoro.It was a nice chapter. Paulie must be pretty strong to be able to rope up four people and tug them to safety. Impel down sounds pretty scary, I wouldn't want to be there at all. Kokoro said she'll produce another "Umi Ressha". Is it like, another anti-Aqua Laguna ship made with a "DON" ?
I'm pretty satisfied for now, I think I might last two weeks. Well, I hope I can...

Heh I read this chapter before I went to work this morning because I woke up early. Because I have a totally mind numbing clerical job I daydream sometime and apparently every intelligent thing I thought up today regarding this chapter has been said :) So I'll repeat it and credit goes to those who said it before I posted :D
As I've been saying I totally believe even more that Tom is alive and well and now that Impel Down has been revealed I do believe this even more.
I was thinking that now since Paulie is going to attack the government he is definitly going to get a bounty and because of this I do believe he will join the crew even more. (Of course my previous reasons : Apperance, Fighting Style , etc still apply). One thing about Paulie. Alot of folks say that he doesnt have a tragic past like all the other Straw Hats do which seems to be a requirement for joining. Well my thought is that how do we know his debts arent tragic? Was Robins past revealed before she joined? I dont remember that so maybe we shall see with Pauley.
Lastly, I cant believe someone beat me to this but I was thinking it would be funny as hell if Bon-Chan became the Shipwright or maybe Musician. Meh heh Anywho,
