I have no idea if anyone already posted this.. (please don't hit me) but here
So um, if that water made Luffy and Smoker hammer, why is Mr 3 floating in it? He isn't even touching the staircase…
^Because he's dead.
Nah, I donno

I thought so too at first but yea, damn mini stories and people who can't seem to stay dead. XD
I dunno either. Mystery!

Oda "Explained" that one away already. Supposedly, Mr. 3 is on some "super floaty wood" or something. Anyone have the exact quote?
Ah, I didn't know that. It's still looks weird though.

Here go. Taken from AP site:
O: I sure got a lot of these… you wouldn't believe how many postcards I got about this. However. You guys can't trip me up that easy... There is a reason. Under Mr. 3's body there just so happened to be a piece of "Unbelievably Floaty Wood". And that is why he was floating so unbelievably. Let's say, normally a person's floating power is 3 Puka's, and a sumo wrestler's would be about 5 Puka's. But on a good day, a piece of "Unbelievably Floaty Wood" can get as high as 13 Puka's, the world record set by floatmaster Pukayama Ukijirou.
Kinda seems like Oda was grasping for straws other that.
I would have assumed that his vest was a flotation device or something. or that Crocs little tub had an extremely high % of salt (dead sea percentage)
but the unbelivebly floaty wood brings a smile to my face all the same =)
This isn't really a mistake. It's clear that Toei at least (haven't read the manga chapter) fully meant for it, but it is most certainly an oddity.
How the fuck did Luffy actually hit Enel with the Ougan Rifle? That was fucking slow moving attack, and from such a distance, yet I'm supposed to believe it was "too fast" for a mind-reading God who can move and receive signals at the speed of light? I sort of get Lucci taking Luffy's attack on both accounts (Giganto Pistol and Jet Gatling). He just underestimated him; thought he could take it; Tekkai'd and was probably fucked up.
That whole finale was pretty stupid. It took so much to take out Enel when they were both at full strength (Tako Hanabi against a wall to hit him and then Rifle), yet at Enel's supposed max form he wasn't able to predict, block, much less dodge a huge golden ball being punched into him.

I'd just like to point out that we don't know for a fact that Enel can do this. That's just an assumption made because he's a lightning man. He may not even be able to move at the speed of light outside of his teleportation.
Sure, lightning can move at the speed of light, but maybe the fact that he's human slows him down?
Zulen: I'm not sure but didn't that round guy loose mantra when he got upset/emotionally unbalanced? Perhaps Enel was supposed to have gotten too unfocused to use Mantra? Just a guess.
I know this is gonna sound weird, but floating on water isnt like swiming, your boddy position keeps you up,so if he hapened to get in that pose,he would float, but if hed mover and slide in the water, hed drown.

I dunno, I think if Oda wanted that, he would make it apparent. It's an awesome attack, but it doesn't make an ounce of sense that Enel would channel 200 million volts into his own body only to stand around and get fucking owned.

That's an interesting point…I don't remember anything saying that df users can't "float", but then again, I'm tired right now.
! Considering that Brook could run on the water, floating seems possible too. Water only affects you if you're submerged in it. Only problem is that Mr. 3 would have had to be placed there gently by someone in the correct position, so that he's never submerged, and then use some effort to actually stay in that position, which couldn't happen, him being unconscious and all.

Just a guess, but I think that Enel, at that point, under-estimated Luffy and didn't expect the rubber-man to throw a punch (with a ball of gold that big on his arm, which is, after all, pretty goddamn heavy) that could break the sound barrier. And if something breaks the sound barrier, it's gonna hit you hard and fast. Fast enough to smack Enel before he could think to teleport.
From this point it's all neuroscience about sound, recognition by the brain, and other stuff that I'd rather not get into for the sake of my own safety.

this is the One Piece world, where someone can survive the detonation of a bomb witch would level a whole city in ones beak without even losing any limbs.Coincidents WILL hapen.
Did Lobolovers post have anything to do with the one he quoted? =S

I would tend to believe that, but moments before, Luffy was just swinging the ball around as a conductor inside the Advent of Thunder like a madman. I'm really surprised Enel didn't notice Luffy had the strength to punch with it.

Luffy was concealed inside the dark cloud, so Enel probably didn't have a clear line of vision. He just saw his opponent leap inside his Raigou, which dispersed soon after. It was a mystery to Enel how his Death-piea project was failing and why he himself accidentally contributed to it and his own defeat.

He does that with every mistake he makes, instead of going: "Yeah, I made a mistake."
Which is where characters like Minatomo-san come from.
It's a small picture, but the mistake is obvious.
Kalifa has become one with the door.
is that her shoulder or some kind of collar? (looks too high to be the shoulder) or am I just not seeing whats wrong at all?
Maybe it is a collar.. I mistook it for her shoulder.

Who's that?
-I have to finsh catching up on Ippo(extra characters)-
Does Usopp pulling off Golden Pound out of the blue (Heck, that Stick was way bigger than his freakin bag) count as one of the many oddities of One Piece?…
I thought you meant that the roundne sof her head right oposite that of the door makes her head look like a second door wing.

Isn't that the carpenter that fixes the door in the first chapter? one panel after the door is brooken it's whole again or something.
not one panel.Just that Higuma kicks out the (at his entrance) LEFT door wing and is then,4 pages later, seen opening it.
my bad… (I belive it's 6 pages not 4 though, atleast in my volume.)
He also fixes several other things throughout the story.
a door in Drum most notably. He must be realy old,but fast as light.Anyone bet he,Pandaman and Minamoto-san have their own way of instantaneous transportation?
Pandaman ate the Teleport-Teleport Fruit and he offers his services to them, as they all have a burning passion to see the entire world.
or they might have just met up with Kuma at one point or another.
This seems a little nitpicky, but:
I think we're pretty damn sure this shadowy figure is Moria.

He seems to have regular looking teeth in this scene.
Then, his teeth seem to be razor sharp when he makes his full appearance.

Just wanted to point that one out.
Yeah, I've noticed that before too. Same goes to the first time he showed up:
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/449/14-15/
his hair seems different in that one too, it's curly and down to his shoulders.

^I think his henchmen were just very small.

it still seems weird to me though, weird:wassat:
Holy sh*t
I <3 Movie 8 xD
By the way Lucci is sitting, he looks like a woman.
Hey, has anyone pointed out the Shaved Paulie from that chapter where the they get bombed "to death" by the Buster Call? I actually tought it was an exclusive mistake from the Anime.
how about this suction cup oddity and layering mistake?
you'd think they would atleast get the INTRO perfect. :(
XD how did you spot that?
XD how did you spot that?
I actually noticed it the first time i saw the intro.
If you knew me in real life you would know that i'm the kind of person that goes down the street and says "hey that restaurant finally fixed that lightbulb."
I notice stupid things that are out of the norm sometimes. Shame it's probably not a skill that can make me large sums of money, lol.

Maybe as a Health Inspector or something
Next time I watch that opening, I will have to remember to look for that mistake.
crime investigator? xD sorry just had to say it :P

Lol, here's how that would go:
Cop: " sir, here's the body"
me: BLAAAARRRRRGGGahahah wipes mouth "hey is that a semen sample on that lampshade?"
cop: good lord you've saved the day! Here's a large sum of money and my daughter.
We can dream right?
