Well here's a subject I found intresting: Lafitte, Doc Q, and Stronger's abilities.
Does Lafitte have some form of superspeed? If he does then what technique does he have? If he doesn't then how did he get to Mariejora and how did he get to Barnaro Island so quickly?
What's the deal with Doc Q? Both he and Stronger acts like they are sick and weak and yet Quelch was rowing on the BB Pirates raft and both he and Stronger shrugged off Ace's attack. I figure Quelch is capable of having super strength or he can increase his strength.
Okay Teach is looking for new crewmates judging by his attempts to recruit Ace.
Luffy said he wants 10 crewmembers, Teach being a parallel to Luffy might possibly want the same.
It's been stated several times on this board that the BB Pirates are a bunch of counterparts to the SHs. One could assume that future BB Pirate members would be the same.
So what would you think future BB Pirate members would be like and if possible they could be counterparts to the other Strawhats (Franky,Robin,Brooke,Sanji maybe)?

So far I think that the current counterparts are:
Luffy vs. Blackbeard
Zoro vs. Laffite
Sanji vs. Jesus Burguess
Usopp vs. Van Auger
Chopper vs. Doctor Death
That leaves without counterparts:
Nami vs. ???
Robin vs. ???
Franky vs. ???
(If Brooke joins, maybe he would be a better counterpart for Laffite, who knows?)

Ugh, that would be…horrible. I'd hope for a more complex and emotional ending than "Hey hey! Everyone's favourite characters fight it out in a titanic battle royale! Come one, come all!"

On another note, I've always seen Zoro as Jesus Burgess' counterpart- Since Zoro's goal is to be nothing more than the strongest fighter in the world, and Burgess is first seen challenging people to prove that he's stronger than them.
So yeah. Sanji and Laffite? His dancing shoes might mean we can expect some fancy footwork from him. He doesn't really look like a chef, but perhaps he's another lady's man? I want to see more of these guys.
I don't think we can state as early as this counterparts, mainly because we don't know BB Pirates' personality.
Which leads me to think the BBs will have more than 1 fight with the SHs [probably no more than 2]. And by then it'll be too late to state counterparts, because they'll already be stated =O

Blackbeard needs a pirate ship since the Raft of Doom was destroyed. So therefore he needs a shipwright.
Pirates need food for long travel so Teach needs a cook.
He might need a Archaeologist for some evil plan.
He needs a musician since they need some tunes.

There are worse choices in the One Piece world.
Some of the big figures are so one-track-minded, they'll never be distracted to find love. i. e. Smoker, Lucci, Zoro
Some would be more interested in a mate for nonromantic reasons (Vivi for political benefits, Nami for financial ones)
Some are too thick to do anything but clumsy romance (Luffy)
Some will two, three, and six-time you (Sanji)
Some will fail miserably in presentation (Robin, Wanze, Bon Kurei)

I actually understood the entire bounty thing to just serve the purpose to show in what league the big boys play. You know, having a higher bounty then the antagonist Luffy just defeated while at the same time people with far superior bounties hit the scene AND the really big guys still remain bountyless as method of supsense. I wouldn´t put in it too much. Rockstars bounty is already exceeded by two Strawhats (one of it MUCH higher then his own) with two other ones close behind. I really don´t think it means much other then showing "damn, if he´s a nobody what monsters are Whitebeard and Shanks then".

The meeting was at the Marine HQ.
The fight between Blackbeard & Aces happened on the day when Garp appeared, which was over ten days from that meeting.
Whoever have the time to go check on it will know I'm not bullshitting.
Judging by what Van Auger said in their group intro they were expecting Lafitte to meet up with them all the way in Jaya.
And while the incident with Ace happened a while after the meeting I seriously doubt Lafitte just bumped in Teach in Barano. Chances are he was traveling with him after the meeting.
He could have used a powered up form of Soru+that walking in air move but I doubt that.
Lets all not forget that Teachs raft was destroyed at the Knock Up Stream. Powerhouses or not, if they want to sail the Grand Line they have to get a new vehicle first. And if they can get that done in between they can also meet up with Lafitte in between (or use his transport if he had any).
What if Teach uses his Black hole ability to travel the Grand Line? From what we've seen, most Logia users use their ability for transport. He'd suck in wind and blow it back out again? I don't know, I don't really think BB's logia can be used for those type of things, as normally, logias expel things, (i.e. fire, ice, lightning), while BB's is all about sucking. He just can't get any thrust, so scratch off that way. I would've said that he could take in seawater and gush it out, but the seawater would null his power, so no.

It isnt as much "sucktion" as it is creating an accellerating force.

Which would still mean that he would have to build a vehicle that benefits from the ability first, seeing that Ace and Smoker pretty much powered vehicles with their abilities instead of traveling vehicleless.
Now really, All he'd have to do it create a mini black hole in front of the ship. As long as he keeps moving the hole further back or closes it before the ship gets sucked in it's all good.
I am getting really annoyed that Oda just left out the end of the battle and if there was an actual death in One Piece. Now its probably going to be until like after the fishmen arc, which will be like 2 years until we find out what actually happened.

Dont think he can create black holes free from his body like that polygon… that would seem strange to me, no other power can lay mines/bobytraps like that.
even if he could he needs to have the attraction force be in one single direction as there imo would be a lot of hassle if the hole starts sucking up all the water infront of the ship up into the air.
According to Blackbead he absorbs the damage directly without any opportunity to avoid it, if he uses his power in the sea then he would suffer an huge pressure from the the sea and die.
The other part is his strenght, in the fight against Ace he shows an astounding toughness against Ace attacks but he doesn´t seem more faster than his rival and we know that Ace is stronger than normal Luffy but we don´t know if Ace is stronger than Gear 2 Luffy. I believe that now Luffy and Teach are equaled with the difference that Teach has his huge toughness (able to resist a jet gattling gun) and his devil fruit power and Luffy Gear 2 is a limited time power-up. In other words, Teack would win technically.
But who makes Blackbeard really dangerous is his crew, the first important member is Laffite who seems to be the first mate but… are you sure that he is the first mate? If he was send to Marijoea is because his past, a policemen who worked for the World Goverment,oh well, he could have been a CP8 agent os something for the style, but this puts him into a low position for be Laffite first mate, position that from my point of view is for Auger.
Laffite reminds me The Joker from Batman, both are similar in some way and have got a cane but the most important part is that the personality of both characters are very similar (Laffite and Joker like singing and both are psycopaths and torturers).
My words about the last 3 will be very short, Doc Q has nothing special beyond a force potion that makes him very strong, Auger is the most powerful of them being one of the best snipers in Grand Line and Burgess is nothing more than an idiot who acts like a bodyguard for Teach.
Now that I think about it Lafitte may not have been sent to Mariejora because of him being First Mate but rather because he was the only one who could get to Mariejora fast enough to due his possible speed and be able to avoid the guards.
If Lafitte does have some form of super speed than I guess him being a Ronshiki user makes sense but if that's true than he needs to either have more variants or more powerful versions of existing variants or maybe both or maybe even all that plus a Devil Fruit since It'd be kinda sad if people like Mihawk or Doflamingo couldn't sense one lone Ronshiki user.
Especially since I doubt Rob Lucci is the best Ronshiki in the world seeing as how his comrades knew techniques that to my knowledge Lucci didn't know (Jyabura being able to use Tekkai while moving). I wouldn't be surprised if there was some supreme Ronshiki master somewhere in the Grand Line. I mean someone has to be teaching these people.

theorically speaking antimatter is the opposite of matter, create when the universe is conceive. its theory is sort of similar to the concept of yin & yang. so when antimatter & matter combine they will be annihilated and release pure energy.
the hypothesis of blackhole is that it is a super dense collapsed star whose gravitational strength is so strong that even light cannot escape.

my post prior to the antimatter one was about the number of day pasted since Lafitte appeared at the seven god pirates meeting. someone was saying he had superspeed which i think was nonsense.
I rather believe that Lafitte have some abilties to do with some mime/stealth thing.

But at the same time Rucchi knew techniques nobody else knew. Kamisori seemed to be a combination of Geppoh and Soru since he moved pretty fast and could change directions in the air. I didn´t see anybody else who used a move that made it seem as if two Rokushiki moves are performed simultaneously.
And lets not forget Shigan Bachi. Rucchi mastered Shigan on such a level that it pretty much begame a range attack.
And last but not least, he was the only one to perform Roku-Oh-Gun. A technique that is totally different then the other six forms and was performed by him only.
The Shigan thing and Jabra´s Tekkai are in the same leauge because both are far improved version of basic Rokushiki moves. But Kamisori and Roku-Oh-Gun simply exceed the skills of the other CP9ers. It´s not coincidence that the strongest one of them could perform.
I don´t think that this differences between the CP9ers mean that Rucchi isn´t the strongest out there, it just means that some of them concentrated on improving one certain skill which the other didn´t. Every good fighter has to know both his strenghts and weaknesses and then he works on both in order to have his weakness be lesser of a burden and his strength to be more of a menace. And if Jabra could move while performing Tekkai then this was his strenght. Doesn´t make him the better Rokushiki user however.

That would be cool but I think if this happens he only needs to have 9 people so Mihawk can battle Zoro for the final battle.
Even though it has been mentioned that Mihawk is the world's best swordsman, I have a feeling that the Gorousei with that long sword will be the best. (Assuming they have to fight them AROUND the end of the series). Unless there is a stronger swordsman that is still a non-government pirate
