1. There's seperation of church and state. Religious beliefs have no bearing on what goes on in this country… Meaning, you can't ban gay marriage just because you think it's against your religion. You DO understand that, right? I just wanted to check.

Separation of church and state…. if you'd do background check on this you would know that when this law was originally put into effect way back when, it was made to keep the state out of the church, not the church out of the state. That way the state could not tell you what to believe or where you could express those beliefs. You could express your beliefs anywhere at anytime. That made America special.
Of course, back when America was just a beginner country, everyone used this law for the good of each other, and were able to express their beliefs to the world. Now with atheists and others like them trying to take what made America what it is and turn it into something that it was never created to be, they've lessened the freedom that America was made to have.
George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and the majority of the rest of the respected people who signed/created the Declaration of Independence to form America were open Christians. They were able to be open in their beliefs anywhere with anyone, and no one gave a hoot, because they also had that freedom. But with the rise of anti-Christians and atheists in America in the last century, it was inevitable that someone would try to take the separation of church and state law and twist it around. Unfortunately, they succeeded by using the Law against itself. Since the law stated that the state should stay out of the church, these people assumed that it worked in vice versa as well, so they made it be that way; EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT CREATED FOR THIS.
When America was "created" in the 1700's by groups of colonists, puritans, and separatists, these people came to America to get religious freedom and establish colonies that were free from the strict British kings of their time.
William Penn, a Quaker, founded Pennsylvania and New Jersey so that his people could have religious freedom. They were persecuted by the British for their Christian views and ideals, and were desperately seeking a safe haven. They found it in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, that is, of America.
The man who founded Maryland, also founded it so that his people could be free and open with their religion anywhere at anytime.
I can go on and on, state through state, people by people, but since I don't have the time now, I assume that you'll understand what I'm pointing out:
America was created as a Christian country for people that wanted to be free in their beliefs. Unfortunately America's current view of Christianity is not what it should be. Some people think that just by going to Church on Easter, or by just being an American makes them a Christian, well, it doesn't.
The Bible, the Word of God, is a Christian's guide line.
If America continues on in its current state, it won't be long before the words "IN GOD WE TRUST" are taken off of American currency. That will be a sad and terrible day indeed.
