How Can BB beat WB?

Anyway, here's a thought. If BB really will by the main villian of OP, then would will anyone take him seriously if he say, kills Whitebeard in some cheap and cowardly way?

If BB has a plan to kill Whitebeard, then a one-on-one fight seems like the best way to go–if he's going to have an creditability from that point on. His "plan" could just be a way to get Whitebeard alone, since Whitebeards got such a big ass crew.

you could be right but I dont think WB would let his crew jump BB b/c they didnt jump shanks and they are enemies.

I didn't bother reading everything but from what i read on the first few pages..

Anyone who says that Ace and/or Blackbeard are "weak" or "mid-tier" or "strong but not in the big boys' league" or stuff like that.. are the BIGGEST NOOBS in manga-reader history. I'm sorry this sounds insulting but I had to say it.

It's SO BL**DY obvious that their going to be the Big-timers in future events, even if Ace were to perish in the BB/Ace fight. Even Oda mentioned that their fight would trigger "an incident". Shanks said that "Blackbeard would aim for the top". I hate the fact that Blackbeard would be so strong, but i will admit it if it's shouted in my face like what Oda did. Frankly speaking, I had expected Ace to pwn Blackbeard, but if the manga says so, then I'll accept it. The ones who maintain that WB will reign undefeated.. I can't say much now, but they're gonna be sorely disappointed in future.

At first, no I wouldn't realize Blackbeard's destination was Raftel.

However, when I start to see a regular path further down the Grand Line in the New World ( I'm sure the government has some kind of basses there ), I would take some kind of action.

I'm sure the government is not allowing Shichibukai to go past a certian point in the New World in order to protect their own safety.

I have no idea. But this does lead up to my theory of how Luffy will beat Blackbeard.

He'll deliver a force so powerful that it will kill Blackbeard, but the resulting force back will kill Luffy. That will be the finale.

Ofcourse, this is after Luffy becomes Pirate King and everything. ^^

Yea I thought of it sort of like that except without the force being thrown back.. Cause without seastone I think the only way to beat blackbeard is to hit him so hard he dies

I have a question with BB.. when he takes hits can he only return them if he is doing his black hole attack??

And according to what he said can he actually die from a hit.. I mean I know he takes damage but he is a logia.. But if he can Die i think that would really make him a better character cause it doesnt really make him too strong..

Out of curiosity, why are so many still stuck on this notion that BB can absorb and return 2x damage, or absorb and return damage!!! Did I miss something in the real chapter? Cause I remember this stuff being in the fake spoilers only. BB can absorb attacks, and in paying the price of absorbing the attacks, he gets the ability to suck in a power user's "true" form.

It really depends on the kind of hit that Blackbeard can take. We don't know how Durable he is but I do know one thing he SHRUGGED off Fire Fist Ace's "Hiken" attack (and this is an attack that destroyed dozens of ships in one blow). We know that Blackbeard is very durable we just do not know the limits right now of his Endurance.

I also know that Blackbeard has displayed the SRONGEST power ever in all of One Piece!!!!! (yes feel free to disagree with me I will be happy to explain my reasons)!!!!!!!!

Definitely the strongest DF displayed so far IMO as well. It's tempting to say Aokiji's is on par, but more likely than not, BB could also absorb his ice, therefore putting Aokiji pretty much in Ace's boat. Now, don't all start attacking me all at once, let me finish. I'm just saying that Aokiji would be forced to fight w/o his ice powers. Essentially any fight w/ BB is going to be on BB's terms. Anyways, futurama is on and i'm going to bed.

Aokiji's devil fruit powers are extreme, remember he froze the ocean and lots of it too. A full power ice blast would be too much to take if you ask me. Aokiji might be one of the characters that force BB to fight a different way.

And we don't know the limits of aokiji's strength, all we know is aokiji is one of the strongest in OP. So if we go by strength shown aokiji would win, if we go by speculation it remains inconclusive.

Your theories are too simple, aokiji is alot stronger than ace. It's like saying if franky can punch through fukorus tekkai, I'm sure he can break lucci's.

Well we found out he couldn't because lucci is a stronger character. Now aokiji is a stronger character as well so his ice will be alot stronger than ace's fire.

Aokiji has been around for a long time and has had many years to get stronger and perfect his fruit. Ace was young and strong for his ae and for the short time he had that fruit.

I didn't say it wouldn't all I said was I don't think BB could just stand there and take aokiji's most powerful ice attack. I said I think BB would have to fight in a different way to win.

E.g Take weaker attacks move from more powerful ones, while he is doing that he could be attacking at the same time.

no one knows yet how powerful aokiji is physically as compared with ace, and how powerful their fruits are in comparison to one another

so everything here's just assumptions

all i do know is blackbeard is apparently a walking seastone for logia users, he forcefully pulls out their human form with his gravity, forcing them to fight physically the moment his hand touches their bodies

we don't know enough of ace, bb and kuzan's physical powers, and how effective their devil fruits are against one another.

it could be stone scissors and paper, stone beating scissors doesn't matter, it's still beaten by paper, which was beaten by scissors. it's not dbz with rising power levels, it's various elements which function against one another in different ways

You see, this is what bothers me. When a logia takes damage, they normally bleed or show signs of bruises. ok, I just double checked, and he does bleed when he's impaled w/ the spears. wwssshh!!!! ok, BB is back to being just being overpowered.

I was trying to avoid the whole Aokiji vs. BB debate. Simply put, you guys believe that the key to defeating BB is this super powerful god-level attack that he can't recover from. Sorry. Wrong. BB's entire ability is based on resilience. It's gonna take some serious punishment to put him down. And if he's anything like Luffy (like he's been portrayed), he isn't giving up even after he goes down initially. He'll get up again and again (at least that's what I expect). Aokiji's DF is bar none the strongest DF displayed to date. However, the advantage BB has is made blatantly clear. He can harm the "true" person, and this is one of the biggest issues when fighting DF users.

the fact that Blackbeard can take hits, unless you are 1000x the strength of a giant, no one can beat him.

His ability allowed him to have a fearsome offensive, while his body is his defense!

For one thing, BB doesn't use real black holes as they would have instantly sucked in Ace and the town they were fighting in. The fact that Ace didn't get instanlty torn apart by the black hole proves they aren't quite the real deal.

Plus, Blackbeard takes damage like everyone else. It's a matter of speedblitzing him before he can call upon a "black hole" or hitting him hard from a distance. BB is very powerful but very beatable at the same time.

Yes, Blackbeard is an "Ubber" character or as a I like to call them Monster!

From what I have seen from both characters so far Blackbeard would beat Aokiji!

Blackbeard shrugged off fire attacks, attacks strong enough to blow up dozens of ships, People…this was a direct fire shot at him yet he lagughed off Fire Fist Ace's attacks head on! Any other logia user would not take the direct attack in their NATURAL form like Blackbeard.

That's the part I'm not too sure on, true no-one has shown light speed reactions yet. But when luffy fought enel he dodged alot of enels attacks, now enel is as fast as lightning. So this means luffy is faster or on par to lightning.

Then we see luffy can't keep up with soru, so it's safe to assume soru is maybe a quarter faster than lightning. Now luffy has also achieved that speed, now characters like mihawk are miles stronger than luffy.

Now heres the big question have these characters achieved light spped?

Or was luffys fight with enel a mistake made by Oda?
