God the cold war kool aid was strong, huh.
There's people that threat the Dems as anything but the Harm Reduction Party. Yes vote Dems to block worse Republicans, don't vote Dems because you believe they will do social democracy, even at that the post FDR Dems are bad at - and that was an exception case.
Yes @Ubiq I'm well aware the major setbacks were in Republican States. But Besides Michigan an Minnesota I haven't heard of any significant progressive legislation being passed in the last 3 years.
@Envy I'm aware of the issues with the legislative body. Were I'm from we have them with multiple parties, not only two (pretending they are not one). But either the chief of the executive has the tools and influence to help pass the legislations the fulfill his campaign pledges (either pressing his own dissident party member or cutting deals with the other party) or he's merely a figure head for propaganda to external police (the one thing both parties are on the same page - AND NO, the complains on the Ukrainian support are not because the GOP is pro-peace, it's because they want war with China, so yes both parties are aligned when it comes to foreign interventions that privilege their bourgeoisie class).
@Time-Control-Magician Tulsi already left the boat and started grifting on the right. Like if the US has anything a micron left of center.
Gosh americans talking about politics is just like hearing; "Well, I have to vote for the guy that wants me dead in poverty or else the guy that wants to rape and mutilated me before I die in poverty."
I KNOW this isn't the exact place to organize systemic change, but damn manifest something that isn't angry polite letters of repudiation or leibnitizian resignation.
