@Zar:
Genuine question, what does sexual attraction mean in this case and how does it differ from sex? From what I've seen on some sites they explain it like an asexual person won't enjoy the "sexiness" of sex, more that they like the companionship?
Admittedly it's a very personal and heated question for me since I used to identify as Asexual when I was younger, thinking it meant no interest in sex, but then descriptions like that cropped up and completely alienated me. Leaving me with nothing to identify as. I'm comfortable now but I'm still sad about it.
One can still enjoy the physical sensation of sex despite not experiencing sexual attraction, as in reacting someone with a desire to perform sex, per sé. That's not the clearest example in the world, of course, but I'm also just in a "What the fuck is sexual attraction?" mood as I write this reply.
Obviously, labels exist just for the sake of short-hand. Sexuality is a spectrum and a lot of people just use basic labels as a form of vague explanation and attraction isn't always precise. There are plenty of people who call themselves 'bi lesbians' for
, for example (I sometimes do, too, when I'm not feeling imposter syndrome!). I suggest just using whichever label you like (or no label at all!) and if necessary explaining more in-depth when the time calls for it. I'm not in the business of gatekeeping any label, just proposing that sometimes a label isn't always set in stone or matches an exact, unchanging definition.
Anyway, I've arbitrarily decided that Mashiba definitely wants to fuck Ippo.
