Naruto Kurama is dead btw.

Bloodlines 2 has had tons of development problems. The studio was probably relying on whatever money they'd make with the game and when they were removed they had to fire people. The game already likely wouldn't have been good even without all of the problems though. I wonder if it will even come out at this point.

Is Hades the best Roguelike game? I’ve never played a roguelike game and I was wondering which one I should check out
-
Depends on if you mean roguelikes that actually play similarly to the game Rogue or the more recent ones that all play differently but have procedural generation and permadeath. I liked FTL. The Binding of Isaac and Risk of Rain are also considered good. For the former type Dark Days Ahead is pretty popular I think. And Dwarf Fortress has a roguelike mode that contains its patented interactivity.

What do you guys think of Skyward Sword HD? I think Nintendo hasn't learned from the criticisms of Twilight Princess HD. People didn't like Twilight Princess HD, but at least no one complained that it looked the same as it did on the Gamecube or Wii, LOL. I see some people saying Skyward Sword HD looking the same as it did on the Wii, which is pretty sad to be honest. I am looking forward to the improved motion controls, though.

Has any of the 5 zelda remakes been recived good? The 64 ones did look better, and improved the iron boots, but then they changed the stuff in Majora's mask to make it more accessible and it was a 30 pages discussion over here.
Wind waker I guess was the least controversial, because the general improvement on just faster sailing, less grindy triforce quest that would have been a dungeon if they had time.
I just ignored twilight princess, once was enough for that one. And even with improved controls, skyward sword once was too much.

OoT3D was fine. It had a couple unnecessary changes but left the original basically untouched with added QoL stuff like (optional) gyro aiming and I've never heard anyone complain about it being worse.
MM3D is a fucking disgraceful disaster in almost every possible aspect, except the visuals looks a little better so yay.
WWHD is the perfect remaster. They improved exactly the things that needed it, and it looks incredible. And the gamepad functionality was nice. Extra dungeons would be the only way to make this better but that's asking a lot. But anyway, this remaster made the game jump several spots ahead in my series rankings.
TPHD was fine? It was just Twilight Princess again. I don't remember anything remarkable, which is not good or bad. If it lets more people play the game, that's fine. Making the Wolf Link amiibo an exclusive/limited bundled item was a bit shameless though.
LA is a remake, not a remaster. And as a huge, huge fan of the original game, I think the remake is awesome. Extremely charming, very faithfully updated, and just a great nostalgia trip. The art style was (for some reason beyond my grasp) controversial. The only complaints I recall other than that is that the game "isn't worth 60 dollars." Which doesn't even pertain to the game itself. Oh and yeah the dungeon creator thing was incredibly superfluous but ultimately inoffensive.
I have not played SS – the only mainline game for which this is true -- and I don't particularly feel the need to change that fact with a remaster, no matter how much they touch it up. Unless they seriously rework the entire game. When you port a bad game, you still end up with a bad game.

I decided to go through Skyrim again. On a newly acquired Dell display, the in-game imagery is fantastic! For me, Skyrim is one of the most interesting games I've ever played.

I'm actually about to play it for the first time (the PS4 port). Better late than never.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Okay, hate to say it, but I'm about three hours into Skyrim and this game is pissing me off.
I've pretty much only been doing the main quest, but now these draugrs our whatever they are are totally kicking my ass. Like am I under-leveled or fighting them wrong or something?
And the game really doesn't tell you anything. I had no idea you had to initiate the level up or how to use magic.

I can help. :)
What is the quest you are on, and what is your current level, and equipment?

Well, I was stuck on the Bleak Falls Barrow quest, but, good news, I was able to beat the boss and get the dragon stone. Just had to fiddle with my combat set up (equipped fire magic to my left hand, sword in my right hand).
At level 4 now and feeling a bit better about the game. If I have any more trouble I'll be sure to ask :)

Ah, okay, going for a battlemage kind of scenario?
Here's a few tips:
**The 5 major cities all have court mages who can sell you tomes. And make sure to keep all 5 schools of magic well-stocked. Sometimes, an Illusion spell to debuff an enemy can help before you go in for the kill with Destruction.
**Join the Companions as soon as you can. Skyforge Steel is as good as Elven-quality weapons.
**While bandits level-scale, their equipment usually stays about the same, save for their chiefs. However, Draugr upgrade from Ancient Nordic weapons to Ebony around Lv. 30 or so, so be careful!
**Speaking of, starting fights with the Thalmor to steal weapons and armor from them isn't a bad idea, either. Just free the captive first, and you won't get a bounty for attacking them. And they are elf nazi shitheads, so fuck 'em anyways.
**Generally, equipment scaling goes from Iron all the way to Daedric and Dragonbone. About Lv. 45 is where it ends there. So always be on the lookout for better gear. -
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is getting an HD port to Steam in addition to Switch, because sure why not? Not like we have rules for a reason.
Gonna have to shell out some extra money to get Dante from the Devil May Cry series though.

Is anyone else excited for Ghostwire Tokyo? I think it looks pretty interesting
I still don’t know exactly what it’s about, you can see an interact with Shinto spiritual stuff? Are you an Esper, or a mage
Idk but it looks cool
Edit: question what is the insensitive to buy The newest X box? They seem to have all the same third party games as play station but the only two real exclusives they have are Halo and Gears of war, and those are pretty much the same games that have been around for decades, they were awesome back in the day but do I really need to buy a new x box to play games that haven’t really changed since three generations ago?
Let me know what you think

I haven't tried any of the Zorro franchise before, I only done it briefly long ago. Here is the teaser of Zorro The Game, which will come out in September 9th of this year. The platform release is currently unknown. I am actually really excited about this because there is a certain voice actor I love will be in it I think. The gameplay looks like a gist of between Batman Arkham and Spider-man PS4 combat.

Hey, sorry if this is a weird thing to ask, but why did you link that?
Random, mostly-irrelevant links always make the moderation team wonder if the person is a bot, and they're generally right…

How can a person be a bot? A bot is a program. And a person is a person. Why did I write about the display? Well, I just wanted to show off my purchase. After all, I found it very well and the display is really cooler than my old Samsung, and in which the matrix has already begun to turn yellow.

Ah, ok.
Well, you're clearly not a bot.
Bots are sometimes hard to identify unfortunately.
-
That was a weird response but okay.

Any account could be taken by a bot.

Naruto Kurama is dead btw.
Wait, what? Is this a spoiler or something? Or just a bad joke? It happened in Boruto? Because I am not watching it, I gave up on it at some point, because the some things are so dumb that I get triggered when I see them. I used to watch it on my second monitor while playing World of Warcraft, but now I have no idea what is happening there. I spend all my free time playing and gearing some new characters with https://wowcarry.com/wow/farm-leveling/gearing, wanna try something new because I got bored of Paladins.
-
He has been dead for 2 months now.
-
This… this is too expensive to be an April Fools joke, right?
-
They revealed it a while ago. So… sadly , no.

What do you mean "sadly"?
It looks amazing and I want to see it yesterday.

Ehm… Good for you!

You’re only going to get hurt.

I've played the Dynasty Warriors games since Part 3. I know they're cheesy and stupid and over the top, but overlayed against a legit interesting story.
If its dumb and the effects look cheap that's part of the charm.
-
So they made a Dota 2 Animated TV show, I wonder if League Of Legends will respond with there own
I think they have the better characters, it seems like they have a multiverse thing going on with characters from different Genres of fiction, which is always cool, and I love there cinematic videos
-
I'm super excited for this, although the product we were originally shown seems to have a way different tone and gameplay than the original trailer
still looks great though
-
Eh, I was quite frustrated with Crash 4 so I wouldn't be too excited about a Crash 5, but it's kinda sad about Spyro 4 since we don't know how they would have brought the formula to the 2020's
-
Well if nothing else Bobby Kotick supposedly is taking a pay cut amidst all this.
-
I really don't know why Toys For Bob thought agonizingly brutal difficulty was the way to go with Crash Bandicoot. I've been playing Crash 2 and 3 for the first time and, sure, they're challenging in parts, especially if you want to 100% the game, but nothing nearly as bad as Crash 4 (well, maybe the ice levels in Crash 2).
-
I asked this question in another thread but it’s probably more appropriate here
How many final bosses of fighting games are super powerful fighters who are also CEO’s of an evil organization that throw a fighting tournament in order to take over the world? (However the hell that’s supposed to work)
-
Well you have Rugal and Antonov in KOF
Heihaichi in Tekken
Technically Seth in Street Fighter 4So that’s four probably more if you play som mor obscure games
-
Does Shang Tsung count as a CEO.
-
Well you have Rugal and Antonov in KOF
Even people who didn't played Fatal Fury knows that Geese Howard started this.

Heiachi is the grand-daddy but Kazuya and Jin have also rose to the top of the G-Corporation and the Mishima Zaibatsu and started the tournaments. What a nice family tradition.
-

I didn’t think to count Geese since he’s more of a Mafia Big wig than a Corrupt Ultra Rich CEO with good publicity…...at least after Art Of Fighting.

Jin is kinda iffy while he did some bad things in Tekken 6 it was less out of a lust for power unlike his father and grandfather.
@Cyan:

Hmmmmmm he might rabbit he might.

.Funny you guys are debating Geese since this video with him is the reason for my question

This looks cool, I love Japanese inspired stuff, but they don't show any game play at all so not sure what to think

Got Skull something-hero-killer, thinking it was a metroidvania because Steam listed it as such, it is just a rougelike. I was feeling like exploring and trying to find if the wall exploding weapon works with glass windows or not, not dying a lot and it doesn't even allow me to fill a proper encyclopedia of my failures.
I have indulged in rougelikes a ton in the past, but god damned it I wanted a castlevania, the damage that the gba-ds era left in me, and the dissapointment that it was mirror of fate or whatever (it had fall damage…) it made me think that there would be a new one forever.
Should have stomached the weird gothic macabre torture church stuff of blasphemous and be done with it.
The game itself is fine..

Mirror Of Fate .

How much money do the Guilty Gear games make? They seem like there awful expensive to make, so they must be making a reasonable return
The new one looks amazing you can barley tell it’s 3D
-
They’re niche like pretty much anything Japan turns out but I presume they make enough money to be profitable.

So I somehow missed that they were making a Netflix show for Cuphead, and they got WAYNE BRADY to play King Dice:
I never played Cuphead because I knew how hard it was, but I did watch the Let's Plays, and damn if Wayne Brady isn't a good King Dice.
