After comparing the widescreen and fullscreen versions, I have to put my support behind widescreen. I personally don't see that much difference in the video quality between the two. I don't think anything major is cut out in the fullscreen version, but in several places it is obvious that the edges are chopped off and you aren't seeing the whole picture. I would say that if you are planning to watch it on a widescreen monitor or TV then definitely go with the widescreen. Otherwise, it is your choice whether you want to see a bigger picture or the whole picture. The only other thing to consider with the widescreen is that since it is from a TV rip, it shows the original opening credits and anything that the TV station flashed up onscreen during the episode, whereas the fullscreen, coming from the DVD, doesn't. In the end it just comes down to personal preference. Try both and see which you like better.
By the way, as Throes mentioned above, it does seem like the fullscreen is a little bit stretched vertically. It is probably something that can be corrected easily in the encoding for future releases.
Anyway, great job K-F. Keep up the good work! The long wait is definitely worth it for the quality of your releases.
