The races for the 1M death begun, with only less than 6K spots left which nation will bring today the greatest dis-contribution to mankind contributions to public health.
The Spanish Flu only got that many because it was during a war (not a lot of hygiene in the trenches), but we have no excuses here.

[h=1]Day 1352: "Give me a fucking break."[/h]
! Trump and Melania tested positive for the coronavirus months after playing down the pandemic that has killed more than 205,000 Americans and sickened millions more. Trump reportedly has a low-grade fever, nasal congestion, and a cough. He received an infusion of an experimental antibody cocktail and was taken to Walter Reed Medical Center Friday afternoon by helicopter after his condition worsened. He will remain at Walter Reed for a few days. Earlier in the day, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows told reporters that Trump had “mild symptoms.” Late Thursday night, Trump tweeted: “Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!“ Trump, 74, was diagnosed hours after one of his closest advisers, Hope Hicks, tested positive Thursday morning. Hicks traveled with Trump on Air Force One and Marine One this week to the presidential debate in Cleveland on Tuesday and to a campaign rally in Minnesota on Wednesday. After the White House learned of Hicks’ symptoms, Trump flew to New Jersey for a fundraiser anyway, delivered a speech, and was in close contact with dozens of other people, including campaign supporters at a roundtable event. At a political dinner Thursday night, Trump told guests that “the end of the pandemic is in sight.” While he did not appear ill at the time, he did not speak to reporters when he returned to the White House. The president’s physician, meanwhile, said Trump was “well.” Hicks is showing symptoms. Three days ago, at the presidential debate, Trump mocked Biden for wearing a mask every time he appeared in public. “I put a mask on when I think I need it,” Trump said. “Every time you see him, he’s got a mask. He could be speaking 200 feet away from it. And he shows up with the biggest mask I’ve ever seen.” The Trump campaign announced that all of Trump’s planned events are being postponed or going virtual. Trump also canceled his plans to travel to a rally in Florida. There are 32 days before the election on Nov. 3. ! Trump knew Thursday morning that Hope Hicks tested positive for coronavirus and continued with a full schedule of events anyway. The White House has not said when Trump first tested positive and it’s not known whether Trump was tested Thursday morning, but Trump said late Thursday he was awaiting results. After Trump learned that Hicks was positive Thursday, the White House modified plans for who would travel on Marine One and Air Force One to Trump’s fundraiser at his Bedminster golf club. On Monday, Trump claimed “We’re rounding the corner” on the pandemic. Trump was joined in the Rose Garden by Mike Pence; Alex Azar, Betsy DeVos, and the chief executive of Abbott Laboratories, Robert Ford. On Tuesday, Trump traveled on Air Force One to Cleveland for the first presidential debate with all of his adult children and senior members of his White House and campaign staff, including Jared Kushner, Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Lara Trump, Jason Miller, Stephen Miller, Mark Meadows, Robert O’Brien, and Rep. Jim Jordan. Nobody wore masks while boarding or deplaning. Bill Stepien, Trump’s campaign manager, was also seen on board without a mask and was later spotted getting into a staff van with Hicks. On Wednesday, Hicks was isolated in a separate cabin from the rest of the White House staff on Air Force One on the trip home from Wednesday’s rally in Minnesota night after falling ill. Trump left the White House on Thursday at 1 p.m. for the New Jersey fundraiser. Before his own diagnosis was made public, Trump sounded raspy on a call with Iowa voters and in an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News. Republican donors who attended Trump’s fundraiser at his Bedminster golf club, meanwhile, are reportedly “freaking out” and asking the Trump campaign and GOP officials for guidance on what to do. About 30 to 50 donors came close to Trump at the event. (Bloomberg / New York Times / CNBC / Politico / Daily Beast / HuffPost)
Biden and Harris both tested negative for the coronavirus. Jill Biden and Doug Emhoff also tested negative. “I hope this serves as a reminder,” Biden said, “wear a mask, keep social distance, and wash your hands.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, meanwhile, said Trump’s frequent dismissal of COVID-19 health guidelines “was sort of a brazen invitation for something like this to happen.” (Axios / USA Today / CNBC / HuffPost / CNN)
Something to watch if anyone ever yells at you about masks "infringing on our rights" or some other bullshit:
i'm ready for covid to be over, it's gone long enough !!!
Perhaps try a strongly worded letter?

Give it more 7-8 moths before mass population vaccinations, most of them are on the final stages of getting approval. Which means medical personal and elderly should get at least by the end of February.
I'm expecting things to change at least by next year, hopefully in the fall, as that's when I start my four year, but I'm chill with online classes. I honestly can't wait for the vaccine as well.

How long until the anti vaxxer's (who you know are going to start their bullshit once a vaccine hits) stop being dummies and realize vaccines serve a beneficial purpose?

but they have dangerous chemicals I can barely pronounce their names? How could those be safe?

I think the ones that are anti-vaxxers are also the ones that believe the Coronavirus is a hoax.

Well… never.
The pandemic is going to stick around through the end of 2022.
Well… never.
That's the punchline.
but they have dangerous chemicals I can barely pronounce their names? How could those be safe?
I'll stick to drinking bleach and taking that Hydroxchlorine:ninja:
Or, I mean, we could just take the Anti-Vaxxers, grab them and force them to have the vaccine given to them. :P
Well… never.
The pandemic is going to stick around through the end of 2022.
Why do you think so? I'm not saying you're wrong, I want to know your reasoning because it might be true…

The Spanish Flu lasted about 3 years and I've heard a bunch of people claim that a three year cycle is typical for respiratory pandemics.

Well there was a fucking world war that brought famine and poor higiene conditions to a shit load of places, and pre penicilin medicine is mostly trial and error so the situation now wouldn't be so dire.
No, but people are idiots and a proper vaccine takes a long while to fully develop and test, so I'm thinking to the end of 2021 at least.
Today we had 4,500 infections on a population of 17 million. Adjusted for size, we are second only to Spain when it comes to daily infections.
And our CDC head is still going on tv each day to insist face masks are bad and that wearing them might worsen the pandemic, directly going against new government policy that masks are advised (but not enforced) indoors.
Gimmie a Bardiche.
When you don’t want to touch something with a 10ft pole.
Would replacing guns with pole axes raise or lower violence rates in the US
go and fuck you Trump. Ask your friend, who died on covid if it isn't that bad. And of course the normal citizen won't get a treatment as you have…
And I thought you would learn a bit... But hey you are human after all
the lack of a Ji is a disrespect to the coolest pole weapon
the lack of a Ji is a disrespect to the coolest pole weapon
Are you talking about the combination of a dagger-axe and spear, or the crescent-bladed one?
I'm particularly found of the forth left to right. But the last one is not that bad looking itself to.
I've always liked glaives.
Would replacing guns with pole axes raise or lower violence rates in the US
While not necessarily the violence itself, it might lower the death rate because unless you're fucking Jet Li you can't kill as many people with a pole ax as you can with a gun.
CDC revises guidance, says COVID-19 can spread through virus lingering in air: https://fr.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN26Q2UB
When this all started, I had a feeling it was airborne. The article mentioned about improving indoor air, how would I do that for my apartment?
Would replacing guns with pole axes raise or lower violence rates in the US
It would make it more interesting at any rate. "Another shooting kills 3" sounds depressingly familiar while "Lancage Rampage leaves a dozen wounded after a heated dispute goes out of hand"
Pole axe control doesn't solve anything. The only one who can stop a bad guy with an axe spear is a good guy with an axe spear, every teacher should have an halberd in case a school pole axing happens.

Weapon triangle :ninja:
I mean, halberds are much more versatile and useful than guns. Think about it: can't reach the top of the cupboard? Halberd. Can't reach the remote and there's something terrible on tv? Halberd solves that problem you might need to buy a new tv though. That terrible itch in the middle of your back returned? Halberd! Just make sure to use the less deadly end
The confidence you feel with your licensed conceal carry halberd.
I would like to see a how a concealed halberd would work. Do you take off the metal part, and fold the stick part up like with white canes blind people often use?
Just imagine you are wearing your coat over a tall coat rack. With a discreet hat on the pointy end. The bad guys won't suspect a thing
And this happened today, we really don't want India to take our spot apparently.
sighs
I mean….maybe this is just how it's going to be from here on out? I mean, we keep saying there's going to be a vaccine and whatever, but maybe we're just doing wishful thinking.
I don't understand Portuguese. What exactly was the cause of this bees nest?

Opening of a big department store in Belém, I dunno why so much commotion.
Wow, must've been a big store.
Something to watch if anyone ever yells at you about masks "infringing on our rights" or some other bullshit:
Thanks, that one's useful.
I've come up with several reasons that I think Americans are having such trouble, some pretty obvious.
The "The Customer Is Always Right!" dogma that America promotes everywhere is without a doubt factoring in the stupidity of Covid. Entitled customers go to a store partially to feel like a king/queen who doesn't have to ever be inconvenienced, and get everything they want at the store by complaining enough. This is affecting mask wearing because they're at the store! An employee me can't tell me to do anything at the store as an American.
"Muh freedom" is an obvious one.
Lack of empathy's another big one, America's a narcissist breeding ground.
I'm honestly surprised Covid-19 hasn't wreaked a lot MORE havoc on America with how dumb and selfish the average citizen has been raised to be here.
Oh and for my weapon I choose a scythe, scythe's are badass.
And this happened today, we really don't want India to take our spot apparently.
Minus the Covid cesspool, that crowd is enough to give me a panic attack in general because of my social phobia >.<
I'm honestly surprised Covid-19 hasn't wreaked a lot MORE havoc on America with how dumb and selfish the average citizen has been raised to be here.
It's not so much that the average citizen is as dumb and selfish as you think they are as it is the president and his cronies openly telling everyone in the entire country what they want to hear.
When the devil whispers into your ear it's nearly impossible to resist him unless you recognize that you're being manipulated.
A number of studies have proven that humans are just really bad at resisting temptation, unfortunately.
Wow, must've been a big store.
I dunno never been to an Havan (the store that opened in particular), I think is a discount Wall Mart.
The owner is a neo liberalism, Bolsonaro boot licker, that is investigated in it's relations to the spread of fake news. Just look what all his stores look like:

Statue of Liberty? Okay then . . .
