Bland? Really?
Huh, I guess different strokes for different folks.
For me, this was the best chapter in this Class A vs B arc. This was the only team that functioned like it had any kind of experience.
Taking point and backing up other teammates is just basic combat. Had he given them each a simple task would be different. This is just everyone luckily working in tandem with quick decisions that paid off.
Bakugou overwhelming is interesting because it reminds me of Mirio trouncing Class A without a sweat.
How is that remotely interesting?
Also Bakugou had the experience of fighting against a group of guys, especially professional villains like Magne. So any other result that wasn't overwhelming victory would have been total bullshit.
Bakugou has not won a single fight against villains unlike Iida, Todoroki and Deku. That is a piss poor excuse. You're just a blind fantard.

@King:
Really? The whole thing actually had great flow, with some nice strategy and counters like the initial ambush and the grenade taping.
Compare with the last one, which was rather disjointed and consisted more of people just testing their powers on each other.
Last one actually had tension and development between two parties. Which actually got to see how both sides improved and it wasn't a one sided match. This was just pathetic, not only was that tactics uninteresting the way how they hyped up a recommended student and then have her fail the next is just plain bad writing. And once again Bakugou is still a shitty character.

I love this chapter!
Class B's been about tactics and once again did so this fight, but this time they lacked enough information to win. If this was pre-Deku v. Bakugou II, they'd have this in the bag. Love that tactical reversal. And, it shows Aizawa's teachings are helping (building individual strength), but the argument could be said it's All Might advice that really won the day. Sorry, Aizawa.
Combos! I've been waiting for Class A to use them more. It's a short match, yes, but the reason why is because Team Bakugou did everything right from the start. They "choose" a leader, worked together, used tactics, and adjusted their strategy when needed. Bakugou learned from his mistakes and the mistakes of Class A's earlier matches to steamroll Class B. Bravo!
I really don't see Deku topping that. The kid gets a personal power-up but that's it.
@pariston_hill:
That was a very convincing victory, but I hate that this gives me the feeling that if you’re a student and your name is not Bakugou prepare for underperform. Specially if you are Momo lol.
Let’s see if team Deku have come with a cerebral strategy to win, I do hope.

I enjoyed the chapter. And as much as I'm a huge fan for Bakugo I had wished this was an opportunity for the others to get a bit of a showcasing as well. But on the flip side I'm glad we didn't get extra flashbacks on motivation from each kid or whatever. This was also the shortest round, no? Just 2 chapters instead of 3 or 4?
I liked that Bakugo actually did account for if he got captured to trust in the others to get him. And for himself to help them if they needed it. He definitely wouldn't have bothered pre-license exam. Nor would he have ever thought about possibly getting caught.
I need to re-read this with my glasses on. But did he blast Setsuna after blinding her? Lol.
So let it be known everyone who defends or likes this match up is an idiot.
