Man, all my friends have Splatoon 2 and are enjoying the hell out of it, meanwhile I'm sat around waiting for Nintendo to release a Switch bundle of some sort. Japan got a splatoon bundle, where's one for the US!?
Maybe for Odyssey…

Turns out Wal Mart's opening of the SNES Classic floodgates was all just a wacky misunderstanding.
Glad I avoided this latest heartbreak by having by heart broken prior from missing the pre-order window. Kiddin' of course. Still, it's prompted me to be more proactive in setting up a phone alert for when they do finally start. We'll see if it pays off.
And thus my odyssey begins, capturing both Bayonetta amiibos, per internet and per car.

Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 are coming to the Switch
I wonder if this will actually get me to finally play those.

Dude… Definitely recommended!
They're everything we loved about RE4, some of RE5, and more. Rev1 feels a little light on content (because 3DS, originally), but Rev2 is bursting with attention to detail and a surprising amount of replayability.
Plus these crazy RPG mission-based modes that are good for another few dozen hours of gameplay. ...Or hundreds/thousands, if people on the internet are to be believed.
Grabt Kirkhope is going strong in this game.
Do they sing in the game? I hope not. That was awful.

And here I thought people hated the co-op of RE5 (and by extension 6).

Day 1 purchase. Hopefully this doesn't lead to another ten crappy Rabbids games though.
The Nintendo World Championships are back again:
Also, in an unexpected twist, the world is actually only comprised of 8 select cities in the United State.
We should all look forward to watching the championships take place between all qualifying Mario Kart 7 speedrunners. Because in another unexpected twist, to qualify as a Nintendo champ all that's relevant is to make sure you are a time trial expert in MK7.
edit: lol, reading the rules more in detail. For each city, only two people with qualify, one below 13 and one over 13. This leads to 16 candidates, but then in the championship it will be 24 as Nintendo will be inviting another 8 themselves.

Hopefully Reggie's better at Mario Kart than he is at Smash 4.

Looks like Super Meat Boy is heading to the Switch
Super Meat Boy's a great game and all, but it's a bit unsettling to see so many rereleases, many of which are full price.
Shovel Knight, Cave Story, Severed, 1001 Spikes, Axiom Verge, Azure Striker Gunvolt, Human Resource Machine, Little Inferno, Lego City Undercover, Binding of Isaac, Mario Kart 8, Rayman Legends, Mutant Mudds Deluxe, One Piece Unlimited World Red, Pokken Tournament, Retro City Rampage, Shantae: Half Genie Hero, Super Meat Boy, Terraria, and probably some others I missed are ALL still available on the 3DS or Wii U (some for cheaper than the Switch versions).

There's a Nintendo Switch projector dock being developed
For anybody still collecting the Sm4sh Amiibo, just a quick heads up.
Female Corrin is back in stock at Amazon for MSRP as of this post.
Clowns….
SNES Classics came and went at Best Buy, and this time it's probably legit.
Amazon ran out of preorders at 5 am, too.
Rumor has it that Gamestop preorders will open up later today.
I refreshed Target and got the preorder button even before the Tracker App noticed, yet I still got zip.
And it looks like Gamestop's flooded completely.
Guess I'll find SF2 on the net.
Walmart is sold out on the SNES Classic. They are just making this hard for people to get.

Well hopefully they learn their lessons with the N64 and Gamecube classic:ninja:

Nah, people WANT gamecube games. By the inverse law of Nintendo logic, that means they won't do it, and will instead skip that to release a Wii classic featuring 20 unreleased versions of new super mario bros
Switch Classic first
@Purple:
Switch Classic first
Not before Virtual Boy Classic featuring 3D Tetris, Galactic Pinball, Mario Clash, Mario Tennis, VirtualBoy Wario Land
Along with Mario Adventure, Mario Kart Virtual Cup,Dragon Hopper & Virtualboy Starfox
On the bright side, at least SF2 is actually translated. I have to wonder if even that had been completed 20 years ago, because it's hard to imagine they'd go through the effort of doing it now. Plus, the copyright says 1996; it likely would say 2017 if it was a new translation.
I did notice that Titania was spelled "Taitania" on the mission screen. Whether a mistake from 1996 or 2017, kinda weird either way.

The beta had a copyright date of 1995, and the title screen was different.
We really are getting a complete game.

Amazon never even notified me. Fuck.

I wasn't asking if the game itself was completed back then vs. the beta, I know full well they had a final Mario Club-tested rom lying around. I'm just surprised they had a finished English version on top of the finished Japanese version. It seemed even less likely an English version was ever even considered, but that's probably it.
As for Amazon, no one was alerted because they opened a different product page for preorders, probably to deter the bots that ravaged the Target page.
Mario suddenly got darker…
!
My local Wal-Mart just restocked Switches tonight so I finally got one, no point in waiting since the price ain't dropping anytime soon. Glad I won't miss out on Odyssey at launch.
So Nintendo's selling refurbished New 3DSes (the ones from last year's Black Friday specials) on their website for $125. I've seen multiple people say that Nintendo's refurbishing jobs are pretty immaculate (to the point of some speculating some of them to just be excess stock), and decided to jump on that to replace my old OG 3DS given the size is perfect for my Trump-sized hands and I've heard the colors on the New 2DS XL's screen are slightly washed out compared to other models. Just an FYI if anyone else happens to be interested.
No charger included though.
if anyone's interested in Rabbids…
I'm definitely getting it.
I kinda want to because I've barely tackled XCOM style and it's completely subverted people's expectations. Ubisoft really put effort into making it. Heck I even think the director was crying when footage was played at e3, because he got to make a Mario game. Lots of people dream of that.
…but there's higher priority games coming soon....rip wallet....

I feel you there. Fortunately the only game I bought this month was Sonic Mania, and I just got a bunch of birthday gift cards. :)
Unfortunately… they were all for different stores.
Found Breath of the Wild at the library! So finally playing this sob.
The graphics are quite bad tbh. It's not like other Nintendo games, they're too ambitious for what the Wii U is capable of rendering. And I guess a year of PC gaming has spoiled me. And I'm more than a little peeved that they didn't include any touchpad features.
Anyway I'm not very far into the game. I like the physics puzzles and experimenting with cooking. Combat seems like it could really creative if you use the sheikah tablet powers.

Basically my issue right here. I kinda feel this one should have been last month where the only other option was really Splatoon. Now we are on the edge of all the bigger things coming out and I'm not sure I can justify this one.

Waiting will just make the price go down anyway. :P

End of Miiverse Service Announcement Hi everyone, it’s Tom at Nintendo. I have an important announcement: On November 7th, 10:00 pm Pacific Time, we will permanently close the Miiverse service. We thank you very much for your amazing support. It has been a great privilege for me to serve as your Miiverse guide, and to see people who enjoy similar gaming experiences connect with empathy. After the service ends: • You will no longer be able to access Miiverse from the Wii U console, Nintendo 3DS family of systems or from an internet browser on PCs or smart devices. All Miiverse services will become unavailable, such as viewing or making posts, and messaging with friends. However, for a limited time, you will be able to make a request to download all the posts you’ve made up to the day of the closure. • For Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games that support in-game Miiverse functionality, these features and services will no longer be available. • Miiverse posts will no longer appear in the Wara Wara Plaza on Wii U. Information on downloading your post history: By making this request, you will be able to download your posts – plus any screenshots saved to your album – to your PC after the Miiverse service has ended. To use this download service, you will need to have a Nintendo Account linked with your Nintendo Network ID, and must make the download request before the Miiverse service ends. To find out more about this service or to make the download request, click on the “Information on Downloading your Post History” button at the top of the Miiverse website. From all of us at Nintendo, we sincerely thank you for supporting Miiverse all these years. We hope you’ll continue using Miiverse until the service ends.
Meanwhile, Nintendo just finished a Nindies direct

Notables include the next Shovel Knight DLC (King of Cards) and the next No More Heroes.
Since when was No More Heroes indie?
