Lets hope they arent a DBZ fan since luffy being able to whoop everyones butt is not too fun to watch. They did an decent job trying to make the story less predictable….....

it would be a joke if someone else were to come and help Luffy….... distracting Lucchi, yes, but not making him go down and letting Luffy finish him off...that would be the worst end to thise fight........ no matter how you see it, Luffy HAS to finish Lucchi all by himself........with minimal outside help.....

back to topic….. 2 more or less days till the spoiler and 3 more days more or less to the actual chapter...... I can't wait to see how the mugiwaras are going to get out of this mess or if Oda is going to drag this arc somemore......

- Lucci's obsession with the bird.
- Why the bird left once Luffy proved to be extremely formidable.
- How Usopp 'redeems' himself and saves Luffy (he shoots the bird).
- Why the marines are still completely 100% confident in Lucci despite the fact that the strawhats annihilated all the rest of cp9 and practically an entire island of marines and despite the fact that Luffy was going 'toe to toe' with Lucci on a seeminly even footing.

Frankly, none of these predictions have sounded good so far. The only things that are certain are:
Sanji will do something.
Ussop will do something.
The rest of the crew are fighting captains, some of which are strong.
I guess it's getting tough to predict from this point?
I think the current storyline leaves not much room for speculation….it's either this or that........ but nothing in between....

I'm not sure why people are bugging out about Luffy getting a Gear 4. Neither Gear 3 or Gear 2 have anything to do with one another, and Gear 3 isn't even a real "upgrade", just a powerup.
If Luffy doesnt get anymore gears, his fighting style will turn incredibly bland after awhile. Gear 3rd will be incredibly hard to use in smaller places (onboard ships, etc) and that would leave us with Gear 2nd.
I think we'll get alot of Gears, all with different uses (speed, power, accuracy.. like Choppers Points.) And one Gear to rule them all, dubbed Super Saiyan Luffy.

I concur that this week is pretty intense, not just for One Piece, but most of JUMP's comics. Bleach is starting to get more ass-kicking, Naruto is becoming more interesting, and One Piece is keeping me in fucking suspense.

1. Kuroneko Kaizoku vs. Foxy Pirates in the Davy Back Games:
Kuro's speed against Foxy's Noro Noro beam. Kuro would be able to get a full crew again since 2 of his officers are dead and the third deserted him.
2. Spandam becomes a model:
After being fired from the WG, Spandam becomes depressed and starts wandering around. He meets a Plastic Surgeon who offers to try a revolutionary new treatment, and as a result Spandam becomes a Bishonen. He gets rich by being a model.
3. Cooking with T. Bone:
T. Bone is washed ashore on the Island of Cuisine. There, he meets a master chef who wants to make dishes with Seakings. He obliges the chef by cutting up some seakings and ends up becoming a famous chef.
4. Gin's Chronicles of Toil:
Gin's adventure through the Grand Line. I don't really have any ideas for this one, except a thought about Krieg becoming a pro wrestler.
