Geez these same arguments happen after the end of every hiatus. If you want to believe Togashi is a lazy prick who hates his fans more power to you. If you want to believe he has actual back problems then do that. None of us know him personally so it really doesn't matter.
Also I find it hilarious that people are talking about professionalism like that's relevant at all. Maybe that matters for a struggling artist trying to get their first project off the ground, but its not required once they reach a level of success nor should it be. GRR Martin is a good example. He wrote A Game of Thrones in 1996, then the next novel three years later, the third novel a year after that. Very punctual and he generally met all his deadlines. How professional. The 4th and 5th novel take 5 and 6 years respectively, and he is missing deadlines and pushing back release dates. He's been working on book 6 for six years so far, and at this point he isn't even bothering to tell us when he'll be done. What a jerk.
Long story short, once an artist is popular enough they can release their material whenever they want. Is Martin professional? It doesn't matter. Frank Ocean dropped a hit album in 2012 then essentially disappeared for five years to the disappointment of his fans. That sure wasn't professional but it didn't stop his next album from being another hit and getting critical claim again. Artists don't owe fans their work. We don't pay Togashi to write chapters. He writes a story that I assume he likes and we like it so we buy it. Togashi doesn't need to be professional. I'm personally glad when an artist reaches a point where they don't have to grind themselves if they don't want to.
The only time a person has a legitimate gripe is when they subscribe through a patreon system or a kickstarter where they are paying for a product that isn't released yet.
Lets just enjoy these next chapters when they come out
This would be all well and good if HxH was a free web comic, but with anything that's sold in volumes there should be a level of professionalism regardless. Your argument seems to amount to "I'm glad Togashi is wealthy and popular enough that he doesn't have to offer any professional courtesy to the fans". And comparing Martin's time to write the finale in a novel series and taking 5-6 years is a bit different than Togashi taking long breaks when we dont even know if this is the final arc of his series. Theres an unspoken element to storytelling that separates it from other forms of art. When you begin to tell a story youre not having your fans just buy an arc or a volume as a standalone release in its own little vacuum like you would a painting or an album, theyre buying it as a piece of the story while expecting to get an ending eventually. You're arguing as though he was a painter or a music artist. Courtesy is courtesy regardless, saying that "he's made his money already…" as though that justifies anything is silly. In that case he can continue to do what he does but that doesn't make us any less justified in calling him a lazy bastard.

And this is without even mentioning the fact that HxH takes up space in SJ and must have some magazine space being held in constant limbo for whenever it's supposed to come back from it's hiatuses that could be used by someone else.
