…......it all makes sense! Gin is Potato Starch, that's why he is helping with the mutiny.
Chapter 856: Liar

Gin can be made from potatoes. Just sayin'.
-
-
Great. It is the No-One-Piece-Week-Disease-Syndrome again.
-
Silver unfortunately isn't made from potatoes :P

@Count:
Since when has Oda cared about having accurate silhouettes?
Enough to make the left one looking exactly like Capone. And I agree with parklane21, there is something suspicious in him not being in the center. So it's probably someone else than Gotti
-
Oh boy, Urouge showing up would be amazing. The more supernovas we have on screen, the better, especially if they're called Urouge. How long has it been since we saw him on that sky island anyway? I'm really pumped for the wedding crashing and conspiracy breaking out. If executed correctly, they can make this arc really great!
-
Depending on the order they came to WCI, Capone, might have helped Urouge escape.

Well if Gotti was the one that shot Bobbin it would make more sense for him to be in the front/middle of the group

And the middle silhouette matches Gotti's size. The same goes for the right with Vito. A Supernova alliance would be an awesome twist, but I'd rather be realistic.
-
Urouge would rather punch at Bobbin though.

draw the boss on the left goes against hundred years of comics cliché. I hope Oda is not crazy enough to go against such a sacred rule

I can literally see Oda having Bege be in the middle and pretend that the silhouette positions in the previous chapter never existed lol.

Or throw a pillar on him

Rather it just be Bege and his boys, this arc has enough players already without having to bring it more supernovas or WG people.

Of course it's them. Vito as the most probable shooter, considering how he flashed his guns pre-arc. Can't have Bege doing all the shootings.
Well, them or some other members of the conspiracy. I doubt Bege could pull this one off with nobody but his crew in on it.
Looking at middle figure zoomed in for the first time, it's most likely Gotti. On the left of the silhouette we have a straight part which looks like the piece of armor he has on his left shoulder. On the right there's a darker part which easilly looks like his minigun arm, facing slightly upward.. It's like he's facing away from the perspective of the panel, as if posing sideways.
I know, it's probably been said already. I'm just agreeing. ^^ -

I highly doubt it. I think we're far enough along in this arc to preclude introducing anyone new into the mix. I can't recall One Piece ever having a habit of tossing in new players when we're at the climax of the arc like this. The most we might get is the last of the Sweet 3.

Wouldn't Kuma's presence in Thriller Bark count though? There's also Buffalo and Baby 9 in Punk Hazard and Doflamingo's mastermind reveal.

Not really. You're right they Kuma was introduced as the fighting was going on. Maybe baby 5 and Buffalo, too, iirc, but neither acted until after the fighting finished so they had no real impact on those events.
-
Not really. Kuma was introduced well before the fighting for started iirc, and neither acted until after the fighting finished.
Actually, Kuma showed up after Zoro fought Ryuma, Usopp beat Perona, Oars squishes Hogback, Sanji/Nami defeats Absalom, and Luffy gets lost in the woods after trying to fight Moria for the first time. Kuma appeared on the island out of the blue when Perona was trying to escape after her defeat and offered lending Moria help in the middle of Oars' fight with the Straw Hats. Just because Kuma acted after the fighting finished does not mean new players can't show up in this arc. Especially with how built-up the wedding is (which is the real climax of this arc) and how there might be an unexpected wedding guest or two for all we know.

You're right and I've corrected my last post on realizing. But even if new characters get added, the pattern so far is they won't be relevant until immediate problem (the tea party) is dealt with, so it amounts to effectively the same thing, there won't be any new players affecting events.

Probably. But it depends on if they somehow figure into Bege's coup since that has been foreshadowed major event, while Kuma and the Doflamingo Pirates were last minute "this just got real" moments.
-
I want Bonney to appear.
-
-
Reminds me of the old days that people would thought a lot of characters from the past would appear for no reason during the Tea Party. WG officials, Marines Admirals, Shichibukais….I'm glad everyone got their minds straight and realized that would be stupid.:ninja:
-
Honestly got light tear juice welling in my eyes and a big goofy grin on my face from this chapter, although it wasn't the most informational or mind blowing chapter it was jammed full of emotion and I can't wait to see what Luffy and Sanji cook up.
-
Maybe some people from Sanji's past may appear, to attend the wedding and to extend a helping hand. Gin perhaps ? or friends from THE Kamabakka Kingdom ?

Sadly I can totally see a bunch of okamas showing up to the wedding. I don't know if I can handle that much cringe again…but It could add some hilarious moments to an otherwise tense situation.

Speaking about okamas. I can see Sanji being one… recalling Pudding's old theory of Jekyll/Hyde personality, i can see a Sanji Okama version, which most than upgrading her ability, it can grant him the use of hands to fight.
The Vinsmoke kingdom defeated by a shemale, nice title there Absalom. He must attend the party. xd
-
Potato starch not being shown just makes it more likely that his involvement in this arc is going to be significant.
-
Or he gets the Jack treatment and get 1shoted by the enraged Bigmom:ninja:
More so if his bounty is 1.5 billion or at least above 1 billion. -

More so if his bounty is 1.5 billion or at least above 1 billion. That would still be significant. How many users will you see yell about the killed hype of these pirates ruling a quarter of the New World.

They've pretty much sign-posted that someone from BM's family has targeted Zeff, so we might see the Baratie Crew somehow or at least a cutaway to Zeff dealing with the assassin.
-
Or what if Gin is the assassin they sent to kill Zeff:ninja:
aaah, already Sunday, I'll pray for early spoilers and hopefully we get if not the reveal, at least a clue of Capone's plan.
btw, while waiting I decided to spend some time watching crazy theories on Youtube, clicked on one that it talked about X-drake, heard the Youtuber pronounce his name as 'ex-drake' and immediately closed the tab. how Could those self-proclaimed 'hardcore One Piece fans' missed the 'Diez Drake' actual pronunciation :/ -
just a little pirate game..come on give some face to a yonko….waiting for the invited guest and other 2 commander in action later, some explosion n coup

-
Clockbeard was a funny one. Back then, I wanted to spice things up by saying that the blonde Gorosei was a brother? I forget.

16 chars of you made my day! LMFAO

Pudding tries to surprise Sanji with her third eye, Sanji one ups her by becoming an okama. Seems appropriate.
-
It would indeed be very funny if Sanji came to the wedding in a bride dress like that time in the cover story
-
I am hoping that part of this is Sanji just doesn't react to the eye, and gets inside her heart or something.
-
If Sanji truly would transform into an okama, I demand for it to be a Sailor Moon-esque transformation.

or stretches out of proportion and turns into a long-leg tribe

If Sanji ever transforms into an okama, I demand that he brings tequila.
