I don't think this is a case of sexual misconduct, though. The woman herself said she has nothing but respect for him. We're making a mountain out of a molehill here and trying to create drama where there isn't any when there are other accusations against him that may actually be legitimate and worth taking a closer look at.
I don't think you understand sexual misconduct.
Was there inappropriate touching without consent? Sexual misconduct
Was there public sexualization of the individual in order to create humor at their expense? sexual misconduct
Not to mention the clear use of possessives and the implication that she owes her success to him.
Her not caring about it afterwards just means that she did not care about it herself, gave it little thought, doesn't want to make drama out of it for personal reasons, has an NDA… there's a multitude of reasons why women on a daily basis decide to not make a deal about it and having it brought up constantly in news sites as part of an already obnoxiously covered election cycle.

I feel like you're saying that we should all be self-conscious of what label we may be judged by… and that's really wrong. Labels are tools that we can use to explain our views to others; if you find yourself correcting your own views based not on logic and rational discourse, but on labels and stereotypes... you're in a cult.
We need to be free to think for ourselves, not tied down to stereotypes.
If someone comes to you selling medicine while telling you they're a pharmacist, but instead they're really just some asshole who mixed stuff in his kitchen… won't the label matter there?
It's the same basic decency of authenticity. If you are going to present the views and then defend yourself under the context "nope, I'm a moderate" while clearly not being so, the fact that issue got thrown into the argument means that it is subject to being questioned.
People are free to think and label themselves as they want, but if they're going to claim clemency under a label then they are subject to being questioned if that claim can be proven inaccurate.
