Early reviews are kinda discouragng, but I still gotta watch it myself and judge it then.
But hey, Wonder Woman looks pretty good. And maybe Snyder finally learned from his mistakes for Justice League.

Snyder didn't have anything to do with this movie actually. He's much more involved with Wonder Woman, which he is producing and has a story credit on (and also started filming before BvS backlash).
Well we were already hearing about Jared Leto sending used condoms few months ago so i am not really surprised that some people can't stand him.
Damn it DC, I thought the internet would be gushing over it.
Still seeing it though.

That's a joke site, for the record. The ending might have tipped you off.
Here it comes, the excuses and anger/denial!! (The director everyone).
! It's a joke. No is real

It was a joke site? Well now i feel stupid.
sigh Down to 33% on RT now.
I'll still see it, because this is a movie where I have to make my own decision. But fuck, damn it.
All of you determined to still see it and judge for yourself… can you at least wait until the second week, rather than inflating its opening weekend?
The trailers are pretty compelling, way better than the ones BvS ever had. So I dunno, it can't be that bad.
I've already seen it, so… I thought it was pretty average, with an okay Joker, Harley, and Captain Boomerang, but a meh everything else (especially plot and villain). Think it was better than BvS, but that's not saying much, because BvS was a borefest to me and I dislike Zack Snyder and his works.
I just want a decent movie with a decent Harley Quinn that isn't an animated movie. That's all I want. I don't even need the Joker.

Hmm, kinda dont feel like spending money on it in theaters…will wait couple of days for cam stream online and watch op gold in the cinema instead. :ninja:
Edit: Seems like the very first comic con trailer, which was slower and darker without all the cool rock songs and fast editing might have truly represented the movie than the recent trailers?

I have a hard time thinking that would have been the 'better' movie.

Not saying it would be, just that marketing once again is fooling everybody. ;)

So was the constant use of the retro Wayne's World soundtrack actually a component in the movie (As it was in GotG) or was that a trailer only thing?

Oh, I thought you were referring to how David Ayer is saying "I had an original plan for the movie, and that would have been great blah blah blah", and that the first trailer was closer to what the movie would have been.

Oh no, didnt know about his tweet. xD Sounds alot like that Fant4Stic Director saying his original vision would have been great. :ninja:

Soundtrack is in the movie too, like Guardians of the Galaxy, and they try to emphasis it, like Guardians of the Galaxy, but it fails compared to Guardians (made sense in Guardians of the Galaxy, with Quill and his walkman). Songs are placed all willy-nilly, to highlight sequences they shouldn't be highlighting. Movie sure does like "The Squad" facing forward, walking together with some 'sweet, sweet music.
Movie is basically Hot Topic: The Store: The Movie.
The first tweet is real. The second one is fake.

That's because it is that tweet except with David Ayer's name put on it.
Oh, I'm an idiot.
Kind of wish the 'Fuck Marvel' tweet had been the fake one.
Ouch.
Collective ouch.

I usually do, as I don't like being in overstuffed theaters.
I love the conspiracy theories that assume Marvel is buying off good reviews when the X-Men films only do mediocre, Amazing Spiderman 2 did badly, Wolverine Origins was bad, and Fantastic 4 was one of the worst rated movies in recent memory. Plus the likes of Ghost Rider and Elektra and whatnot.
Even among the likes of the main marvel U movies Iron Man 2 and 3, Hulk, both Thors, Age of Ultron are all in the 60-70 range. Hell, Iron Man 1 and Avengers are the highest and they're only at 91%.
It's not some weird buyout bias. Your movies suck. The studio chose a terrible direction for them. It's not your fault or the property's. Its just a bad bunch of movies.
(And lets not forget Nolan's DK trilogy just a few years ago did great. Even the last one.)

HAHAHAHAHAHA
Apparently critical dissonance isn't a thing to the people ginning this up.

What trilogy? there was only one movie:ninja:.

Thats some high-level conspiracying going on here, considering that WB owns 30% of Rotten Tomatoes

You know, I often make that joke to pretend there wasn't a particularly bad outing in a franchise… but both Begins and Dark Knight were good.
So I'm not sure which one you want to pretend didn't happen.

Begins and Rises (truth be told I don't like any of Nolan's Batman films).
Begins is my favourite Nolan film, my favourite Batman film (yes, even above Phantasm), and my favourite DC film.
This petition culture is getting out of hand. xD
Edit: Oh wow. Grace from BeyondTheTrailer, who loved BvS and defended it against all the negativity, was super excited for suicide Squad cause all the promo material looked great and now after seeing it she completely destroyed it in her review, cause she tought it was terrible. xD
People comparing the movie to Fantastic Four (2015) levels of bad. LOL Well… When your villain is played by Cara Delevinge, who, well...can't really act that well, and your biggest actor is Will Smith, who has been a HUGE miss for the past 5 to 10 years, you know you have a problem. (Though, I will admit, Cara is pretty dang hot, and has a strong eyebrow game).
@The:

Well one thing was certain from the start…Harley and Enchantress not being hot was never going to be a problem with the ppl they casted for those roles. xD
But yeah after all the reviews I really dont feel like watching it in the theater. Irather spend the money on Star Trek Beyond.
Star Trek: Beyond is apparently very, very good. People are liking it much better than Into Darkness, so…
And I liked into darkness…so beyond will be even better for me. ;)
Beyond is the best of the New Trek movies, easily.
Why does going to a DC movie have to feel like such a hail mary in whether or not I'm going to get my money's worth nowadays? I don't expect guaranteed entertainment. Just going into the movie thinking 'I'll most likely like it' or even 'It might be 50/50' would be good enough for me.
There was some trouble: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/suicide-squads-secret-drama-rushed-916693?utm_source=twitter
Sounds like Suicide Squad had 'quite' the troubled production.
@Mick:
If you know someone you really can't stand - not someone you dislike, not someone who rubs you the wrong way, but someone you really loathe and detest - send that person a ticket for "Suicide Squad."
That critic review has made me very emotional. xD
Is it too much to ask to see Will Smith in a good movie nowadays?
Same can be asked for a universally well received dc movie nowadays, lol. ;)
Is it too much to ask to see Will Smith in a good movie nowadays?
Ask Jim Carrey, Will Ferell, Lindsay Lohan, Robert DeNiro, Arnold Schawzenegger, Al Pacino & Kevin James fans that :ninja:
Kevin James has fans?
So… Is MCU going to get a bad/Rotten movie first, or, is the DCCU going to get a good/Fresh/Certified Fresh movie first? lol
Based on several comments made in the reviews it seems Suicide Squad was cut to shreds.
Well…just watched another spoiler free review of the movie on yt, looked only for a hot second into the comments and got all major plotpoints of the movie spoiled. xD
Btw, Amandas line from the trailer, where she says we will use meta humans to fight these meta humans, is hilarios, cause there are only what, two actual meta humans on the team? Croc and diablo. Everybody else is just a regular human, lol.
