I make it a point to respond with the attitude I perceive. Coming in here without reading what's been happening and then saying you know what the thread is about in the same post that you proved you didn't… These came off as blunt and condescending to me, in that you seem to imply your interest and recommendations hold higher value than whatever we are currently doing.
Now, if you didn't intend that tone, then by all means I forgive you and retract my attitude towards you.
As for the "we", that was anticipating the fact that if other people chose to respond to you, it would still be on-topic. Ubiq has now also responded to you, so my phrasing is accurate.
Besides, don't you think it would have sounded more condescending had I used "I" instead? Rhetorical question of course, grammatical form would indeed be out of topic.

Yep, you can vote for as many as you want (though if you vote for all for them, then there's really no point). I usually vote for four.
You know, if I'd thought, I'd have nominated Blazing Saddles. As is, it's almost going to be a Mel Brooks month anyway. Half Mel, one part The Man Who Killed Nickelodeon, and, as of right now, Monty Python.
Tonight's movie will probably start later than usual at 8 P.M. I won't be home until just before that time. If anything changes I'll make another post.
