@Brizan:
I think I have some info that may help clarify matters in regards to the date of the tea party. In chapter 651 (p.16-17), when Luffy picks up the den den mushi and talks to Big Mom, Tamago takes it from him and proposes they push the date back two weeks in exchange for treasure from Luffy. The reason Tamago stated for the two week delay is that is when he would be able to bring her sweets. I interpreted this to infer that the FI factory would be able to be repaired and meet its quota in 14 days. BM's acid overflow thinking about the FI sweets combined with Tamago's suggestion of the sweets suggested that the FI sweets were the main item at the party and that it could not occur without them. Therefore, when BM decided to turn her wrath towards Luffy, she indirectly gave the go ahead for the tea party once FI was ready.
Since FI needed 14 days from day 1, this would mean the party was postponed to either day 14 or 15 depending on how they interpreted it. So Sanji would either be getting married today or tomorrow.
Sure, I am just interpreting the translation and reading between the lines, but I think this makes the most sense since the Tea Party seemed to be something specific their deal with FI, they could have deals with other islands but they probably supply other items… like tea and cake(okay I guess tea would be the main item then, but still).
Actually I'd say that the party was still supposed to take place 4 days after Fishman Island.
Let's look at the dates:
- The Fishman Island events happen on let's say "Day 1" of the New World. 4 days left for the Tea Party (happening on "Day 5")
- Next day, on "Day 2" the Straw Hats have their adventure at Punk Hazard. Pekoms and Tamago find out that Caesar is on the island
- Next day, on "Day 3" the Straw Hats have their adventure on Dressrosa. The Big Mom Pirates reach Dressrosa to catch Caesar
- The new Straw Hat bounty posters arrive at Marine Headquarters around day 3-4. Someone from Germa infiltrated at Marine Headquarters recognizes Sanji's face and reports to the "boss" (Sanji's dad). Sanji's dad then plans the marriage with Big Mom, who postpones the tea party until his crew gets Sanji. As soon as Sanji gets to Whole Cake Island the Tea Party will be ready, which will probably take place when Luffy and the others arrive a couple days later.
I'd say this would make the most sense. I don't think Pekoms and Tamago would go back to Fishman Island now, especially when they've been busy taking Sanji to Whole Cake Island.

@RomanceDawn:
Oh no, I didn't take any insult from you or anything, you just passed along a message and my reply was all to him.
I think it's funny that Artur decides to make a comment now of all times about the time line. If he researched what everyone else did long before me, he'd see there are plenty of gaps between adventures. Going into this project I think everyone more or less assumed there would never be an absolute perfect account of the voyage length. With so much traveling for such a long story this just satisfies a common curiosity is all.
Regarding the time line it's self Luffy did say very clearly just a chapter or 2 ago that Crocus was doing fine, at least he was two years ago when they met him. Not that we needed any more confirmation but that makes it pretty clear that their first voyage through Paradise was less than a year.
Actually my joke was referencing this very same thread. I was really surprised at all the effort that Kibagami put into this and I felt pity for him when I was reading the chapter. I really hoped that we could get a consistant New World timeline. And trust me, I've also tried to scavenge the pages of the manga trying to find possible dates or details that would fill the gaps of East Blue when I was writing my timeline, but I just gave up because there were too many mini time-skips. It's the same mess I went through when trying to find out on which month Roger found the One Piece, when he disbanded the crew, when he fell in love and when he was executed and it was really tough to be able to find all of those. Sorry if any of you took it as an offence, I just like to include jokes to keep my analysis more entertaining and lighthearted.
Another confirmation that the voyage has been less than a year is that Oda confirmed that Luffy is still 19 in the SBS. Considering that like Ace (and Sabo) Luffy left Foosha when he was 17, if he's still 19 (and assuming that the timeskip was two nearly perfect years) it means that it's been less than three years since he first started his journey.

Artur? The king of super obvious theories dressed up to fool the uninformed masses? Ha!
There always have been and always will be breaks of undetermined time that come into play. If he actually knew anything about this thread beyond what I've been trying to do in the past year or so he'd know that the entire time line does not connect seamlessly. Judging by that comment above he'll probably look at my Part 6 Day One and assume that I've been "defeated" in some way. No one is trying to prove anything, we just want to know how much time passes during their adventures. And when you think about it, it's really awesome how consistent Oda kept everything between Saboady and Zou. He only ever really brought up the passage of time a fairly significant way with Zou and if you take the time to do the math like we all did, everything lines up perfectly from the story he was writing back in like what 2010?
It's just fun and I guess Artur doesn't see that because we didn't dress up the time line with all kinds of bells and whistles.

Why the beef though, RomanceDawn? I don't remember interacting that much with you in the past so I don't exactly understand where the spite came from. If I ever offended you in any way I apologize, I don't like having beef with people, I like to be as open and friendly as possible. If there's any problem feel free to tell me, I'm constantly trying to improve
Hope we can imrpove our relationship :happy:
