OK. But despite Oda writing it the movie is still non-canon right?
Unless is said otherwise by the author itself, yep isn't canon.

A special "video" about Film Gold will be shown in Toho Cinema Theaters. It will allegedly include a fight scene of Straw Hats attacking someone successively. The pic of Luffy below is the rough sketch about the video.[hide]http://i.imgur.com/7BWKHuP.jpg[/hide]Oda is supposed to supervise it. The running time of the video has not been revealed yet.
Toho CInema and ONE PIECE have made a collaboration in Strong World, too.[hide]
translation is not correct. In th raw pic, it just says, "This main visual poster was drawn by Oda". Tsutomu Kuroiwa is responsible for the story of Film Gold according to the official website.
Ah, OK. This mangastream guys don't even know how to translate something this simple.
About the Toho and One Piece collaboration, so is just a video? OK. So even though One Piece will be distributed by Toei it will still air in Toho cinemas? Is this a normal occurrence? Like Toho movies being released in Toei cinemas, and other distributors.
