All the Elite SR are immortal, I would be really surprised if Askin is not able to completely nullify the damage just like the others.
Especially since we saw him standing even after fatal attacks from Nimaiya.

If this is purely a Askin v Yuroichi fight, this might be really good. Both characters are fun so there is potential. Here's hoping this fight is good.

That was a 1 time thing. he used that ability of his to steal the power of all the remaining Quincy down below and used it to activate their holy forms which "revived" them and gave them a huge boost in power. Lille is definitely dead, he lost his powers. The Left arm of the Soul King - its debatable if it actually is dead or it could regenerate.

Since the latest fights have been teams between Captain and Vice Captain, that makes me believe Soifon is gonna join the fight as well(Since she was Yoruichis former VC). But I wouldnt be surprised if she jobs again.(The only clean win she had was vs the Fraction guy).

My main issue is that Soifon in Shunkou shouldnt be able to damage Askin since a far weaker character tanked it in BG9.
It was also administered by a much weaker character than Yoruichi in Soifon.

If I recall well, BG9 didn't tank it. He just survived it and made a counter attack. Soifon was just too cocky/was stupidly written by Kubo.

Actually that's Kenpachi Kiganjou of the 11th squad, the same guy that Kenpachi Zaraki killed in one stroke and took his haori.
The 10th division is the only one not represented in that spread, and I guess it's because Kubo didn't want to reveal Isshin's full identity yet. (also if Gin was a kid during TBTP, then that means Rangiku wasn't Isshin's vice-captain in that time period….)

2 people imagining different things thus increasing your range of ideas would make sense. It allows a greater diversity of thought if 2 separate people are thinking of all sorts of things and swapping ideas/information. But doubling your imagination power because now there's 2 of you? lol

I still say that Isshin being part of the Shiba clan is one of the stupidest things. Especially when you consider that in the earlier chapters Kukaku and Ganju made no mention of the Kaien-Ichigo similarity.

Interesting that Rukia, Byakuya, and even Aizen did, but not Kaien's siblings. Could've been a better plothook all of those volumes ago.
That reminds me, can Kukaku and Ganju come back to do something cool? Didn't Ganju leave with Team Ichigo at one point, when blech Yukio and Riruka showed up?

Speaking of Askin, he seemed to be a more down to earth person so far, until his shallow life philosophy was revealed in this chapter. It's all about style and presentation. He's basically Kubo of Bleach.

And either get murdered or watch Yoruichi be killed. It's been my belief from the moment he appeared that he was introduced to die or, failing that play a role in the death of Yoruichi.
Though earlier someone suggested he would bring Yoruichi her Zanpakuto, which might give him something to do before inevitable demise sets in.

Yeah, during the Masaki flashback. Before heading to Karakura and meeting her, Isshin was the Captain of the 10th.
I knew he was the captain of 10th, I just couldn't remember if the reveal was sooner or not. So what exactly was the significance of making him a member of the Shiba clan? And what were they disgraced for?

I suppose the significance was to explain Ichigo's resemblance to Kaien, since Kubo has long stopped making things coincidental for our strawberry.(everything involving him has to have a certain cause these days)
The problem was, admittedly, was that Kaien's secondary role was always more centered on Rukia, and that reached its nexus after Aaroniero was killed.
As for the Shibas….I dunno. I think it was stated they fell from their position from as a Noble House after Kaien's death, but that's kinda harsh. They had no control over that, and it was from a Hollow attack. I'm also curious how/why Kukaku lost an arm.

Nice. That would be an awesome contrast to Shunsui situation. Instead of captain-person giving his aide-person their bullshitly detained Zanpakuto, an aide-person gives captain-person their bullshitly detained Zanpakuto. What a twist!
I feel like theorizin' why Yoruichi wouldn't have her Zan with her, but maybe it would be better if I continued playing Dragon Age.

Simplest explanation would be she couldn't bring it with her into exile for whatever reason, even though Urahara could.

I'm fairly sure they lost their status when Isshin went AWOL. Also, Kukaku works with fireworks/explosives. She probably blew it off.

Just another potentially interesting aspect of Bleach Kubo failed to utilize. I mean forming of the relations between Kurosaki family and Shiba family, among other things. But Ichigo's 2 sisters may as well not exist. Poor Kukaku, I'm sure she would like the opportunity to have girl talk with someone.
