@King:
Wait, were you seriously expecting the villains to be gathering intel of a bunch of 15-year olds with little to no combat experience?
I mean, Kaminari, Jirou and Yaoyorozu were actually cornered. And Midoriya, Asui and Mineta were really lucky to fall in the flood zone. Only Todoroki and Bakugou steamrolled their enemies without problems.
So why bring a few dozen grunts with you if they are so weak they cant even take out a group of 15 year olds that have been caught off guard? Only Deku had any injuries and that was from saving all might. Kaminari, jirou, and yaoyorozu were caught everyone else handled their opponents just fine it seems.
Oh and knowing more about the kids would have probably helped prevent Ida from getting away which would have kept everyone but all might from showing up.
@King:
What does this have to do with not knowing the kids well? Everything you listed was more important for intel than the students. The real threat were the pros.
My point is that this was your one big chance to kill the strongest hero in the world and you half ass it by not collecting all the intel you can? That is plain stupid. Also, I was referring to people saying Hagakure is really a spy or in league with villains.
If you have an inside source, Hagakure, and were able to figure out all this info and put together this elaborate plan then you shouldn't ignore the 19 students and their abilities. Especially when they are elite students at the best school in the world. That is why I said it is like the villains said "ah who cares we will win anyway"
Oh and the guys Deku fought with were being cautious and even specifically said "letting your guard down is a sin according to shigaraki, remember? Don't judge by their ages, judge by their quirks. That's just common sense". So they were warned to be careful but they don't use their inside info to learn the kids quirks?
So either Hagakure isn't a spy or it was a plot hole/lazy writing. In my opinion.
