It's a surprisingly versatile color, and as a fan of it I agree. The funny thing to me though is when I have moments like walking around the city and then some random homeless lady is getting angry at me because "only pimps" are supposed to wear purple.

Last weekend was Austria's biggest convention (AniNite) again. I cosplayed as Takumi Aldini on Friday, Shalnark on Saturday and again as Corazon on Sunday.

The Shalnark picture is actually from a photoshoot we did beforehand, since we got together almost the full Phantom Troupe.^^

So for those who don't know, I did the BrazenRacing Drag-n-Fly Half Marathon today. It was a Hike/Run totaling 13.65 miles across two different regional parks ([here's the Course Map](http://www.brazenracing.com/Drag-N-Fly Half Marathon Course.pdf)). This was my first time competing in a marathon event and all I aimed for was to just complete the 13K course within the 4.5 hour time limit. It helped that I actually live here and therefore and was already accustomed to and familiar with every trail (a Huuge thanks to my mother, who is a hiking fiend and is always dragging me to new trails and courses in the name of "adventure"). Still, it was no less a challenge. About a quarter into the marathon, I decided to push myself and my limits, just to see what my best possible time could be.
As it turned out, not only did I successfully complete the half-marathon with the time limit (I clocked 3 hours 15 minutes), but when the top-ranked winners were chosen from each age group that participated, I ranked #1 in the 20-24 age category. Me! OMG, I was so surprised and overjoyed! My first competitive challenge, and I took first place in my age group and finished my run with over an hour to spare! Like, these words cannot even begin to describe how immensely happy and above all DAMN PROUD OF MYSELF I was today. I know for a fact that I wouldn't have succeeded if it wasn't for my mother's training and pushing me to be as physically active as I possibly can. It was an amazing accomplishment.
